Irresponsible streamers & affiliates?

Biggest problem probably still are all these people who believe they win from slots when they saw somebody on internet did. That stupid people end up in troubles, were there streamers or not, if you take all you seen in internet and TV as real, then you don't usually have really bright future, if these streamers would be banned, next you believe you're superman who can fly...

Stupidity seem to be endless from this world, maybe to invest more to education of these countries where people seem to get influenced from some things most of population can call BS right away, would help a lot and not many would get harmed things you see in internet and believe they must be 100% true...

It won't help People's desire to get rich quick and big is beyond common sense. So that people don't see this as an opportunity to make money, you need to do something warning and in big letters in every video.

It's true. Some people who are looking for an easy route to money, unfortunately, can only learn from their own mistakes. Although online casino ads have somehow become too much on YouTube ...

Still, interesting that stars like Drake are paid millions to promote the site. Just shows how much money there is to be made. Not sure how positive an effect streaming has on gambling either. Ludicrous money being spent to win astonishing amounts that no average gambler will see in their lifetime.

What i'm more interested about, is the high dose of gambling with some streamers every day. You might play for monopoly money, but still someone streaming for 8 hours a day on a weekly basis, you cant tell me it does'nt affect their thinking, their mindset or their mental health.

the few people i checked; it's a sad life really. 5 days in a row streaming casino, and 6th day in a landbased casino. Like all their life reside around casino's. You cant tell me that that is a healthy lifestyle or good for mind (at all).

There was a guy who took it to a next level after not getting the comps he's supposed to have. His name was Paddock. That was someone who was hooked for years in high limit rooms. Woud'nt suprise me such gamblers just get extremely depressed over time.

I agree. The difference is it's not their own money. They log in, play slots all day with subsidised funds, and then log off and do what their lifestyle dictates.

Personally, I can think of worse jobs, and no matter what job you do, if you wake up thinking you don't want to go in or log on, it becomes a chore. Same as if you spend your spare time working and make no time for healthy fun or time to wind down, life, and work, can become hard.

You’re looking at it through the eyes of a gambler though. You have to realise that to them it’s just a very highly paid job…essentially like someone going to work 9-5 in an office.

This is how they sweep new custom up, people don’t see the logistics of it…they’re blinded by the gambling side, feeling part of a community, whilst the streamer is being driven by the business side.

This isn’t unique to casino streams, the whole ethos of the average influencer is to make as much money as possible in the shortest time they can; before the whole thing becomes saturated or their star begins to fade. There’s a fairly limited window.

People can sit here and moan about the ethics of it all but evidently it pays, and if you’re driven by money then it’s a very attractive proposition.

What’s actually the score at the moment regarding gambling content on YouTube?

This morning without logging in (was using work pc) I could watch Nickslots live stream and the awful Chipmonkz live? Yet if I click on any of rolla’s vids they’re all age gated. I can also watch Dazzas latest without signing in either. Bandits latest vid and hideous slots are all available to watch with no age verification either???

Is it one rule for some and different for others?!!

Obv Hideous and chip have fucked off to Ireland but chip still has advertisements for casinos plastered all over his content?

Hideous slots just got terminated from the TUBE. I guess winning 52k and not withdrawing it and then doing a bonus hunt with it, may have something to do with it Never mind, as Will always said," It was just entertainment" £££

Probably a total oversight on his part, he stands out from the crowd when it comes to streamers and in a positive way, shares as many losing sessions as he does winning ones, IE: Keeping it real and showing the nasty stuff as well as the nice, unlike one or two other total twats I could (but won't) mention.

Yeah, he did. Of all the scummery going on with live streaming, I'd say he was least unethical. He also had NO transactional or direct marketing links under his videos, which is a big breach of YT rules for gambling stuff if you do. So he kept within the YT rules, although he did show casino branding on his streams but any repercussions regarding UK advertising rules or aff. programmes would be between him and the casino in question not a YT affair if he had no transaction links. This is exactly why I haven't shown, mentioned or used casino branding for years now.

So I really don't know why he's been taken down - it wouldn't be his doing as YT exposure will be responsible for a massive proportion of his income as it is for all live streamers (as he'll find out soon enough alas if he doesn't get reinstated). Remember there's a HUGE difference between live streamers' reliance on YT for the huge majortiy of their sign-ups and players and the vloggers who post personal gambling videos say like Daveslotwinexcitment etc. whose only exposure is a few quid a month in ad revenue. Of course, the biggest vloggers are CasinoGrounds with stonking YT ad revenues but again, they don't post transactional links.

When YT had the great purge of August 2019 as you know I got struck off (fair play, I was taking the piss posting numerous aff. links as was common practice then) like Letsgiveitaspin was struck off and a couple of notable others. So after returning I ensured it was a hobby thing and no casino advertising in either video form or links would take place i.e. stick to the rules. So luckily I have near-zero exposure now, I get about 1% of my website hits via YT and with no direct advertising, zero players or sign-ups. Thus nothing to lose money-wise if I decided to do a Chopley and shut the channel. Although I did get a couple of accumulated ad payments in the last year, when my running total exceeded the £60 limit lol...I'm rich, RICH I tells ya!

P.S. In April 2021 this video was posted on YT concerning Hideous Slots (April 2021, now where have I noticed that date recently I wonder??? Isn't life full of coincidences!)
