Hi
I recently deposited 1000 dollars into a new account and noticed that i got a 250 dollar bonus which i wasnt aware that i would recieve. I played 200 dollar hands of black jack and double my balance to 2000 dollars and tried to withdraw. It was at this point where i was told that i would need to turn over 12500 so i played between 75 and 125 dollar spins on slots to try and get my wagering up. It wasnt to gain funds it was simply because i wanted to withdraw my inital deposit and wasnt able to.
My balance ended up at 3500 once i reached my wagering requirments. I then played more blackjack to get my balance to 5000

I am now waiting for my withdrawl to process. Ive seen in the TOS that the casino can confiscate your funds due to irregular patterns such as betting more than 30percent of the bonus (i did initally not being aware of the terms). Does this always happen and what is the chance of this happening to me. My point is that ive only gambled my inital deposit and at no stage did my balance drop below my inital deposit of 1000

It really depends on what casino you were playing. With most download Microgaming casinos when a bonus is put into your account as soon as you've made one bet you're stuck with wagering and terms of that bonus. Other casinos (only a few who do this though) might just let you forfeit the amount of the bonus if you haven't dipped into it.

What casino was it? If you don't want to say, maybe at least see if they have a rep here - on the top menu look for i-gaming reps and if the casino is listed, write a private message to the rep and see if they can help you.

Chances are that you're screwed though, most casinos won't even let you play blackjack when you have a bonus and you were WAY over the max bet.

. Its shit though because i wasnt even aware of the bonus yet alone the terms and conditions. Just wanted to try and win some money with my hard earned cash. I will fight and argue it. Will let you know the outcome. The withdraw has now been pending 36 hours so should be soon.

A good casino should discuss this with his customer and they should look at a rational way at the circumstances to make a proper reasonable decision. Casinos leaving so much value by not doing this.

So i just realised that i have a bit of hope. Was talking to a live chat agent and asked if they could tell me if there was anything that i may have breeched in the terms and conditions that may prevent my payout. She had a look at the account and said that she cant see any issues.

Also it seems that i have another issue that may work in my favour. After the withdraw i requested a lock out untill the withdraw was processed as per responsible gambling policy.. they emailed me told me the lock out was cancelled as they needed to lift it to process my funds. Surely this is a breach of policy.
Its going to be a test of self control :(

Then remind yourself of this part of your post below if you find yourself "wavering"

No point in arguing and then winning the fight if you then decide to shoot yourself in the foot immediately afterwards, is there?

Stick to your guns mate :)

$75 to $125 spins on slots??? :what:
Which game(s) for goodness sake?
I'm very surprised you didn't either bust out very quickly or get a massive win at those levels.

Either way, I think there is only about a 1% chance of you getting your winnings. You admit you broke their 30% rule ($75) by a big margin and over a long period of play - I can't see many casinos turning a blind-eye to that - not even the very best ones.
They should at least give you your deposit back though. It just depends on which casino it is; Reputable or Rogue.

Agree with KK, there is no point saying you didn't know about the terms of the bonus, its your responsibility to read them.
