Non-Bonus Complaint Intertops won't honor letter

Aren't we all missing the main point here?

The letter should have NEVER been mailed out to ANYONE that lives in the USA.
MGS hasn't allowed new USA players in months, not even those from the non-banned states.

Remember the Villento fiasco? They tried to start taking new USA players after the ban, and MGS gave them a smackdown.


There are just so many things that "just should never have happened". WHERE IS THE CONTROL?

Rogue affiliates - out of control
Snail mail marketing - out of control


Casinos SHOULD be extra wary of sending such mailers to the USA, particularly when the SENDER often seems to be a USA address.
This could be interpreted as soliciting "money laundering", and "illegal participation in online gambling". It might be a player such as this, deciding to complain to the authorities about this apparent "scam" offer in the post, that draws this to the attention of the authorities.

Soliciting another to commit a criminal act is itself a criminal act, and could still lead the advertiser, not just the marketing company, in trouble.
With snail mail, the offence is provable, because there is a KNOWING element to the fact it has been sent to a US address by the sender. Spammers can at least claim they cannot exclude US email addresses since they cannot determine whether or not they are US email addresses.
 
I think some of you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. If the OP had just PMd the casino rep asking for this bonus, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation.

We all know that Intertops has switched software providers, and this could have been why this offer prematurely expired. It doesn't mean there aren't others offers out there or on the horizon.

FWIW, if this bonus offer was that important, someone could have PMd me and I could have put in a request for a special Casinomeister bonus offer. If you'd like, I'll go ahead and do that - that way EVERYONE can have their bonus :rolleyes:

The casino rep was out of town over the weekend - he even gave me a call on Friday letting me know that there are still a few hiccups - but I can't remember if this one was mentioned - so perhaps he's unaware. Turning this into some evil conspiracy is really a bit over the top IMO.

Good job on helping her with the letter too Rob. I so know how she feels ie. lost around computers sometimes. Somedays opening email is a chore. :laugh:

Haven't heard anything back from her yet, hopefully though they will honor it at the "Red" Casino..:cool:

Click on the link below which will take you to the rep's profile, then near the top of his profile, you will see a tab that says Contact Info. Click on that and you will see a link that says "Send a Private Message to...." Click there and type your message to him. There is something ELSE that needs clarifying. Have MGS "terminated" the RELATIONSHIP, or merely the MGS (Green) casinos for US players.

I am receiving mailers for the current MGS casinos, and can still log in to them, yet MGS have announced this as a TERMINATION, not merely an enforcement of the ban on new US players, and the banned states.

I'll bet there are many non-US players holding off from playing either Intertops or Royal Joker due to this information contradiction between MGS and yourselves.

From past experience, I would expect MGS to have a date when all accounts are locked, assuming their announcement to be true, yet as a player I have NOT been kept informed of these developments.

I therefore currently see the MGS casinos as "walking dead", and will not deposit there at all, whatever is offered.

WOW. I Never dreamed I'd start such a stink! 1st I feel I should apologise to the MEISTER. He seemed a bit miffed over the whole thing. I love this site, because it gives me a sounding board to bitch.
Only other people that play can understand when ya just wanna bitch! Right?
Thanks to Rob for helping me with the letter. UM, Pina, I don't know what will happen. I did send him a PM as you suggested that day, then I just forgot the whole thing. I threw the letter away after I emailed it to Rob so he could post it for me.
I did see the note (thread) JUST TODAY from the casino rep. I sent him a very nice PM thanking him for his concern and gave him all the info I could remember. I jotted the acct# and everything else on the back of the letter, so I lost that info when I tossed it. So we'll see what happens now. I hadn't even looked at it (my bitch session) since the time it happened so now..a month and a half later I just decided to look at what else everyone had to say about it. WOW again. Sorry for raising such a to do! :eek:
BUT, I do thank EVERYONE for your comments and concerns on my behalf.
That's it. Just an update, and a thanks to all, and an apology to the Meister for causing a stir.
