Has anybody else noticed that if you uninstall mg software and then reinstall, the games are all installed within 15 mins or so. Ive tried it with 3 casinos now and all 3 after having been uninstalled and put back on had ALL the games marked as blue within a short time and all that i tried were accessable.

I noticed exactly that.

Not even fifteen minutes in my case - almost instantly. My sneaking suspicion is either that

a) They nick them from 'another' MG casino you might have installed

or more likely

b) When you 'uninstall', there's a great big secret file kept somewhere with all the game info squirelled away...

It's like the way when you re-install, it automatically pre-populates your account number field :eek2:

When I cleared out the junk from my C: drive, I found a giant Microgaming cache folder, I think in Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data, that's where the stuff might be stored.

Thanks for that, I had 700 megs in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MGS\cache

I mostly play on my laptop, and it doesn't have a very large hard drive so those MG casinos are almost filling it up

The big problem is they do all this in secret, so users have no idea what "improvements" have been made. This also means that if they have trouble, for example - they have set their system to block access to their personal documents folder, they will have no idea where to start looking for the solution, and casino CS will be utterly clueless and will keep telling you to uninstall, reinstall, switch off firewalls and anti-virus applications, none of which will work.
I have noticed this cache folder too, but stored with the casino installation in program files.
I have also noticed that this month ALL my MG casinos offer an option to either install the update or simply proceed to the lobby to play. Unfortunately, NOTHING actually works UNTIL you accept the update, I even tried REALLY old games, and I could not even load "Double Magic" 3 reel slot without accepting the November 2007 new games update.

As far as I am concerned, MG have gone through the motions but have produced nothing.
