Intercasino Rags To Riches Question

Bonus Pimp
I was recently, for the 1st time, playing the Rags To Riches slut machine at Intercasino. I played for about 1 1/2 hours and hit "3 rags about 20 times" which lets you play the bonus game where a wheel spins and you win from $10 to the jackpot of $165,000. There are only about 22 spaces on the wheel, so if it is random, I have about a 50/50 shot at the jackpot.

Maybe I missed something here, but the wheel is not random. If it was, you one could make billions playing that game as you get to play the bonus game about every 7 minutes of play on a low $3 wager.

I am not saying that Intercasino cheats as it is the best casino out there and I won money playing the Rags slut machine, just not on the bonus game as it always landed on 10, 15 or 20. All casinos turn on and off the "switch". That is fine with me as it is a part of life. But don't even pretend to have a random wheel like this, there is just no way. If it were truely random, I would quit my job as a bonus pimp.

I would daresay that the wheel isn't random per se, but random in the sense that the dollar amounts won are determined by a RNG. Think of it as the Wheel of Fortune slot machine, where the wheel spins to "entertain" the gambler, but the odds of hitting the jackpot slot are improbable.

I once read that the RNG on a slot is "locked" once the spin button is pressed. In short, all the spinning - and yes, even the wheel - are simply "bells and whistles" used to adorn a pre-determined win. In the case of Rags, you'd win the jackpot if you managed the right "combination" on the RNG, so while randomness is factored in, it isn't from a pure "spots on a wheel" perspective.

The best way i can understand it is to look at the bonus as a big wheel with many numbers from $10 to Jackpot. Say this "wheel" has 100,000 spaces and in each space is a number from $10 to Jackpot. Of the 100000 spaces maybe 60000 have $10 on them and 1 space has Jackpot on it. When you spin, where it lands is random but the chances of it landing on the 1 space with Jackpot on it is very unlikely.
