Just a quick question for all you IR/TS11 fans.. You have a choice of the 4 different features, which are basically the same in both IR/TS11... Which one do you choose, and why? I personally usually choose ( about 80% of the time ) the 10 free spins X 5 multiplier.. The other feature's just never seem to hit anything good for me.. I know this choice increases variance and it gives you less spins to win something on... But it does feel great when you hit a nice 5OAK to have it multiplied by 5, can amount to a huge win if one of those 10 spins hits something good...

Anyway, what do you guys choose ( mostly ), and your reasoning for it? :)

For me its usually the raven feature (3rd one) on TS2 and the 3rd one on IR-simply because they do better than the others.

Apart from recent months where IR has just swallowed my money relentlessly.

I'm not keen on the first one - because 10 free-spins just doesn't seem to be enough to justify the amount of time it takes to get the feature!
I often go for the Wild Vine / Loki one - but that frustrates the hell out of me cos you only get 2 or 3 wild triggers... on a good day!
The Bats /Ravens one can be similarly frustrating - they are only any good if you hit a 4 or 5 of-a-kind to start with.
Finally, the "Rolling Reels" is the one I pick if I'm losing badly or betting big - because you get a lot of spins and always get something back from it.

So basically they are all crap - it's just a question of picking the least crappy one on the day!

My feeling is that they all have the capability to pay out the same amounts, certainly I've had in the region of 200-250x stake off all of them - it's just the way they do it that varies.

To my mind the more spins you get, the better the chance of getting a return of some sort (as KK correctly identifies, the rolling reels round is always worth a few quid), whereas the 10 free spins round can and will bust you out with not a penny - so it's a question of variance I guess.

Also note that they all use alternative reel sets, it's most noticeable in the rolling reels bonus round, which absolutely crams the reels with 9-10-J-Q-K-A symbols compared to the higher paying picture symbols.

TS2 I pick Loki mostly where as the Wild Vine on IR sticks 99% of the time to reels 3 and 5, Loki can give a good spread over all reels. Then the ravens secondly.

IR ive found the bats pay better, for me anyway, dont play the vine too often for the reason i mentioned.

I do play the 10 spins feature every now and then on both slots. But what annoys me is on TS2 if playing quick spins, which i usually am, then 10 spins last like 10 seconds. There is nothing worse than finally getting a feature and it finished in jig time and paying 0.60,ive had that happen many times.

A useful update for MG would be to change the quickspin settings on the older games to match the newer ones, so as features can be played at normal speed.

Big thanks to the OP for starting this thread!

Haven't played either slot for ages, but this thread prompted me to have another go:
Got 3 lots of free spins and 3 Wild Desire Feautres in just under 300 spins.
I took the Wild Vine feature once - and got NO wild symbol on the middle reel in 25 spins!

    BUT... after switching between 90p & £1.50/spin I decided to throw in 10 x £3 ones, and... :D

TSII I stick to Valkyrie`s x5, this has repeatedly for me given a hit near it`s full potential - x4 wilds with multi aces/kings etc, IR it doesn`t seem to matter as i`ve yet to have a feature hit there worthy of a screenshot including Mild Desire of which the last 12-15 have given me reel 5 wild with a big fat FA return, if my maths are correct the bat feature can outdo the actual Jackpot return x72 lines of Sarah plus other combos and 5 wilds with a x6 multiplier, do the maths :p.

    Mild Desire

It is an unusually frustrating 'bonus' when it gives nothing, especially since you've always got in the back of your mind 'Five wilds, five wilds, five wilds.....'

First of all, thanks for all the replies peeps :)

I do realise that with choosing feature 1 that I'm getting between 50 - 150% less spins than if I chose a different one. I guess its that guaranteed 5 X multiplier if I hit something nice that makes me keep going for it, and the fact that all my good feature hits have come from this feature. I 100% agree that it sucks immensely when nothing hits, having a free spins round last 10 seconds due to having it on Quickspin.. Greiggsy I gotta agree that it defo needs to be changed, as playing with quickspin in normal play is one thing, but it can be quite depressing watching your free spins whizz by so quickly :(

I don't recall EVER having a Loki/Sarah feature that ever excited me - thought I've had 1 or 2 decent hits from the Bats/Ravens, and a few from the Rolling Reels, but again, nothing that sent me into shock :p I've had 2 nice feature's in the 10 spins that paid over £1400 on a £3 bet - No such luck in the others, but I don't usually bet that high, usually 90p, it can go too quickly otherwise when you run cold ( which happens oh so often when playing these ).

Thanks for your thoughts on the Rolling Reels, I think that from now on, if I'm having a bad session, that I'll choose this feature as it kinda guarantee's you at least something back.. I'll carry on with Feature 1 when its going well.

KK, awesome hit, nice one man!! Glad I could be of some positive assistance ;)

My luck is so bad with this feature that most times i`m beyond grateful if I get one reel wild, my returns are so piss poor from this feature that by the end of it, I actually owe the slot money :(.

Most of the time I stick with the one feature until I get a decent pay out of it. Sometimes bet size can determine it for me or how much the game has chewed from me. I do enjoy the TS2 Raven/ IR Bat feature, the joys of screaming at the computer, NOT THERE YOU STUPID BIRD ...... *chews pacifier* So i would say that gets more of a workout than any of them.

    Cough - Please excuse the below - I need a f'kin rant.

You know what... fuck these 2 slots.. really. I really like these slots, they are attractive, and when you do actually win, sometimes it can be exciting. While watching tv this evening, I've done 1000 autospins ( in sets of 250 ) on IR @ 60p per spin, followed after with 1000 spins on TS2 @ 60p.

Immortal Romance - Got feature twice. Twice!!? In 1000 spins. Feature 1 paid £8.50 while feature 2 paid 30p ( LOL ).

    Wild Desire 3 times:

    1 - 1 wild reel - £1.55
    2 - 2 wild reels, but reels 3 and 5, nothing hits - 0p
    3 - 1 wild reel - £5.10

ThunderSucks - Got feature 4 times. Got just under £15 in 2 of them, with the other 2 paying £5.65 and £1.10 ( lol why bother? )

    Shitstorm 3 times:

    1 - 1 wild reel - 0p
    2 - 1 wild reel - 0p
3 - 1 wild reel - £2.25 hahaha and this is supposed to be a bonus??!!

I know this has been discussed and wondered aplenty - But those damn scatters just so so often... don't feel... right.. How can you hit so many 2oak ( esp on reels 1 and 2 ) so often but only have the 3rd fall in, say in 1 in 50 times? Those scatters just feel so weighted at times :(

    During both sessions I didn't have a win bigger than £28 ( 46 x bet ). Over 2K spins that's a bit harsh.

    Wagered £1200. Lost £532.65.

Don't even wanna work out the RTP here. Why the fuck do I keep playing something that just eats your money like a bitch?? Lol since these slots came out, I've lost a couple K on each at least. Probably more, tbh I really don't want to work it out! Why do I keep on playing then? Suppose Seventh777 hit the nail on tthe head - '5 wilds, 5 Wilds, 5 Wilds' - Even though we know the chance of catching something like that is millions to one, we keep on trying anyway. Sigh...

Well, from now on I think I need to find something else. The piss poor returns I get from these just isn't fun anymore :(

    /rant over

They are weighted in a way; I don't have the reel layouts for these slots, but it it obvious that some reels have more scatters on than others and that the reel-strips are very long, with some reels having a lot more symbols than others.
All that means that scatters are much more likely to show on some reels than they are on others.

BTW I think your rant is totally justified; both these slots can be great 5% of the time (IR was for me last night), but 95% of the time they are just shite!
The worst thing is waiting 100s of spins for either feature, only for it to laugh in your face with a pathetic result

Totally disagree! Especially for TS2! TBH i played TS2 much more than IR but they both were rather generous to me!:)
    So, up to now, TS2 - around 140 000 - 150 000 spins, IR - less than 50000 spins
Worst series: TS2 - 290 spins without feature; IR - 370 spins without feature
    Best series - TS2 - 23 features in around 100 spins; IR - 5 features in around 90 spins;
    Best feature payout - TS2/ Val - 150xbet/ Loki - 150xbet/ Odin -220xbet/ Thor - 670xbet( several other times around 300xbet, once on 10 coins bet!)
IR (complete disaster in most of the time)/ Amber - 100xbet/ Troy - 70xbet/ Michael - 150xbet/ Sarah - 25xbet (worst feature of all 8 in both games for sure!)
    Avarage feature payout - TS2 - around 30-40xbet / IR - around 15-20xbet!
It is obviour from the above that i prefer TS2, but both games are excellent for wagering! My personal best result is 550 spins x 3.00 bet for only 23 credits! And TS2 Thor feature is the top of the cream for me without any doubt!

As for the special wild features, IMHO both games really sucks! Unfortunately i lost my good sleep after i saw this!

Yeah, that does seem pretty insane - 23 features in 100 spins, so basically a feature every 4 or 5 spins?? Lol just sick.

Meh, after my last session yesterday, I think i'll stick with other slots.

Oh, and KK, cheers for your explanation on the reel strips, and why those scatters seem weighted. Makes perfect sense.

Nowadays when playing IR I almost always pick the Amber 10 spins x5.
I've had by far the best results with that one.
One huge advantage of the x5 FS is that they can retrigger.
    And I LOVE retriggers!:D

The Wild Vine I find just too damn frustrating.

And the bats.. you need both bats to make it a little interesting, AND they need to land on the right reel, right spot.. best I ever did was just over 200x bet.

It is 13 not 23! I am sorry guys, my mistake!
Anyway, what is much more interesting is how it happened!
I was just beginning in Rich Reels casino and TS2 was the first slot, i decided ti try. Till that moment, what i was always doing when playing TS2 is basically this - setting the bet to a coin from 1 to 5 , ususally 1 or 2 and play until i got three features! Than i closed the game and enter again and the same, but in different coin size! This kind of playing TS2 was rather successful sometimes but this time i was determined to use another tactic! So, i set the bet to 1 coin, got a feature, than immediately increase the bet to 2 coins, got a feature, than lower the bet down to 1 coin and again and again, just constantly changing the bet from 1 to 2 coins and back after each feature! Actually those 13 features were gained in less than a 100 spins, because in the first 25 spins i got nothing! Unfortunately all that i managed to win from this was around 160-170 credits! Although i never got so lucky again from that moment on i was always use that tactic and my observations show that it is much successful when chasing features! It seems that changing bets is strongly involved in that but i cannot prove it and it is based just on personal experience!
