It's more of the same, casinos should refund his deposits etc.

I think he may harbour a bit of a grudge against all of them, and hellbent on recouping his considerable losses from his tone

If nobody has mentioned it I recommend matched betting. I see you're in Germany so you should be able to use betting exchanges to lay off your bets and make some profit from any bookmaker sign up offers and reload offers you can get your hands on. It won't make you rich but could give you the money to start something more long term perhaps. Easiest money I know of.
