Resolved I won the jackpot but never received it?

I bet you have heard this before, but I'm dead serious. I was playing the Phileas Hog AWP game in the flash version of Nedplay. I received the super hold feature and I got to hold 2 jackpot symbols (2000x bet) on line 1. These were reels 1 and 3. I spinned the middle reel with reels 1 and 3 on hold and the jackpot symbol appeared on the middle reel as well, and on line 1!

However, instantly when it appeared, reels 1 and 3 resetted and the jackpot symbols were gone, replaced with a citrus fruit and a cherry.

I contacted the live support and they provided me with a screenshot that is not what happened in my game. Only accurate thing in it is reel 2. According to it, the 2 holdable pigs were on line 3 instead and it says I didn't even hold them. Who wouldn't hold 2 jackpot symbols on the same line?

Am I being scammed or is this just somekind of a glitch? The person I spoke with was certain it's not a bug and saw no reason to investigate it further, but I want to find out what went wrong and how can I know what I'm holding in the future if the game does not even show the correct symbols for me. Anyone else experienced this?

Too bad I didn't think I would need to take a screen shot of 2 jackpot symbols. :( Still, I took a screenie from the result spin, although I don't think it will help.

Open playcheck and you will find screenshots of every single game you have recently played, check the spin prior to the one that glitched and see if the two jackpot symbols are there, if they are not it was a glitch, if however they are, you may have a case.

As far as your request for "Is this a scam?" goes, Nedplay are part of the 32Red group, if 32Red were a shark I would let my baby swim with them, such is their integrity and trust.

Yes, they're there. Although they appear to be on line 3 and not on the one I hold them at, line 1. If I'm reading it right, according to this I didn't even hold the jackpot pigs? That's 2 glitches in one spin then!

What De Beuker said, all the evidence is here, pigs held and a glitch, even though it`s a glitch I personally think MGS should be liable to pay you.

P.S.

Forgot to add this, get in touch with the 32Red player support here via this link and bring his attention to this thread, give him time to response also......

Thanks for the replies. I've sent a PM to him. Hopefully he can help me resolve this.

They will resolve it no doubting that, i`m not going to build your hopes up to much, but, even though this is a software error and thus entirely down to MGS to resolve after the incident has been brought to their attention, it would not surprise me at all if 32Red took it on the chin and paid you themselves, and relaying to you the response from MGS which will be along the lines of "Thank you for bringing this to our attention our dev team will look into this matter" roughly translated as "Thanks, we will look into it the next time it crops up a few months down the line if the casino it happened at did not resolve it curtsy of reimbursing the player out of their own funds".

You may also want to PM Mark as he logs in more often than Johnathan does.........

Good luck:).

I'm not familiar with this game - but is the "super hold" the same as on UK fruit machines?
On those, the reels step one (or more) spots up and down and the player can hold any of the reels when in the desired position.

If is the case, the two Pigs could of landed on line 3 initially (as in the playcheck screenshot), and then the player could have "held" them when they stepped onto line 1.
That would explain what kujis has described.

The only thing we can't see in the screenshots are the game ref numbers which would confirm these were two consecutive spins - that would rule out any sort of "scamming" attempt.

I think you might have nailed it KK.

Has your wife divorced you yet? I get the form shoved in my face if I even mention CM when we are away.

Wow, 32red was fast to reply! The game has been removed now and is under investigation, which is a good idea if a game is giving jackpots at the wrong time and then deciding it's not time to pay yet. :eek2:

They were kind enough to give me the money themselves so I don't have to wait for a lengthly investigation. Big props! Will certainly do more deposits here. :)

And yes, super hold feature is the one where the reels move a bit and you have to hold them. I had the option to hold 2 pigs on either line 3 or 1, but I choose 1 because I have best memories from one line slots. But the issue was that the pigs disappeared when the third pig appeared, and according to the screenshot I held them on line 3 instead even though I made double sure to take my favorite line instead.

And there we go, and remember what I stated previously regarding taking it on the chin, kudos for keeping your patience also ;).

Thanks for the Update - Glad 32Red resolved it to your satisfaction!

I am reporting this post as it would be befitting for a MOD to Change the Title from Roguish...

You just cannot class 32Red in the same line as Virtual :(

This second case seems to make this odd bug clearer. It is all down to the software "blocking" a big win that the compensator is not ready to pay. The bug seems to be that the superhold feature is not properly tied in with the compensation, and in superhold the unheld reel really does spin a symbol in by chance, with the compensator only checking afterwards. In this case, it seems the compensation voids the superhold feature, and even goes as far as to tamper with the playcheck records to make it appear that superhold was simply not given.

This bug has to be incredibly rare because of the circumstances have to come together just right, which seems to be superhold offering 2 jackpot symbols, and the third landing by chance to complete the win. Both ocurrances have been at 32Red, which is fortunate for the victims.

The last occurrance was also supposedly investigated by MGS, but it seems nothing came of it.

The bug may affect more of these games, but be so rare that this has not been reported.

It could even be something that happens only with flash.

Maybe it is the superhold that is offered in error, and shown in flash, but not actually awarded by the server.

Such things offer a peek under the bonnet of these mysterious games, for which I am eternally grateful;)

I'm waiting with baited breath to hear how you're going to exploit these "peeks" i.e. I assume you haven't retired to the Bahamas as a result

I really think you're fooling yourself if you think you can beat the AWPs consistently. If you could, you would be banned at every MGS casino by now. I know you're a land based fruitie expert, and I acknowledge that, but online is a different kettle of fish and you can be no more an "expert" than anyone else, as you cannot control the payouts any more than anyone else can.

This sort of thing only happens at 32 RED. Others will leave you on tenterhooks for weeks pending the outcome of an investigation.
