My winnings finally came from Tropika. I am still waiting on a CC credit, but accounting is working on that, and I expect that to be resolved.

I have to say, that despite the slow payments from Tropika, I am impressed with the people in accounting who have helped me with this matter.

They've been very helpful and very friendly. I get the impression that they may have been kept in the dark almost as much as the players.

Hopefully, all players will be paid in the near future.
 
Does anyone else have an uncomfortable feeling that this posting may not be genuine?

Anon - how far back does your complaint go? How much was it for? At which Tropika casino? Did you register a complaint with IGC or OPA?

Sorry for the confusion guys; I am the one who made the post above. I didn't really want my handle associated with the actual pay-out, so I just used the "Anonymous" handle. But lest anyone think my post above was false, it's not.

I think it's important that other players know that someone who has been owed a fair amount of money from Tropika has been paid. Maybe it will give them a bit of hope.

As for my comments about the accounting dept, I can only say that those are my honest opinions. I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and I do want to emphasize that the person who worked with me in accounting was very professional and, in my opinion, sincere in her attempts to get my problem solved (I have a fairly sensitive bullsh*t alarm).

I can't blame lack of payment on a lower tier employee. She didn't sign the checks, and she could have easily given me the run-around, but she did not.

In an otherwise bleak situation, she was one of the few lights that shone through, and I wanted show my appreciation by making a public statment.

Sounds corny, but it's the truth.

So here's to quick payments for all.
