Cats are much smarter than they are given credit for and can be trained=I am biased though as I work with cat rescue. My bordercollie cross and tabby cat are a double act to steal food treats- the cat jumps on the bench and nudges the treats to the floor and she and the dog use teeth and claws to open packets and indulge.

Mine kitties are indoor cats, so the only thing they bring me are rodents (and sometimes they aren't dead rodents!) And have you ever seen a german shepherd try to catch a mouse??? Freakin' hilarious!
