Ok so.. i am long time slot player, im playing on daily base for 7+ years.. first years i was playing only land based slots, i was registred at some online casinos but i found it as boring - i deposit only like once per 3 months and lost my deposit all the time..then i started to watch streamers and youtube win-videos and that stuff made me illusional..i read that RTP on online casinos is over 95 percent so i thought like "why i would play "offline" slots with low RTP, if i can win more playing online? i will win more and enjoy more fun!" .. i was losing deposit after deposit after deposit, i started to make deposits to online casinos 3-4 times DAILY!..in average, i made 2k + in deposits every month.. but after months of everydays playing i can say - all these illusions was false and online slots paid me less then land based slots! never had 1000x + bet win or winning session that would make me see some difference between online and offline playing..i highly doubt that online slots has higher RTP settings, from my experience it seems totally opposite..
just todays example:
went to land based casino with 50 euro - played like 30 types of games, was up and down - played 0,5 eur - 1,5 euro bet and finally cashout 250 E after 2 hours of nonstop playing and fun!
then i went home and deposit 25 Eur on online casino = played 50 cent stake on middle variance game, did not even smoke all cigarette and deposit was gone without any single win.. so i deposited 25 more = same thing happened - 3 minutes and all deposit gone.. deposited 50 euro - played the same game - took less then 5 mins till i saw 0 in m balance.. made 3 other deposits with same story..
and this is how it usually looks like.. i was making excuses like "not too many spins, im playin too high stake / too low stake/ bad casino/ bad choosen game, too high variance/ was just unlucky".. but after i see overview of my casino accounts - i cant tell i enjoyed some fun !
i am not playing for winnings, i like to be up and down and enjoy the game for more then 3 minutes of clear play.. so - from today im closing all my casino accounts and never put any cent there for more..
im going back to land based casino and enjoy REAL FUN

I was actually thinking the same a few days ago, so surprised when I saw this thread. I remember when you could take 20 dollars and that would last you a couple of hours, but that was back in the day of downloading MG, those days are gone. Depending on your playing style it now takes at least 500 to make it worth while. I was a reg at the land casinos for years. I won 6k on 2 cent machine, so I signed out for a year, that will be 7 years ago Dec 28th. I'm going to write the letter, wait the 30 days and pop back to see what changes there has been.

I know for a fact that I have never deposited as much at a land casino as I do online. Not even close. Plus online can keep a person isolated. I'm quite sick right now and can't go too far, but getting out around people where I'm just sitting will do me good.

Land based slots have a much lower RTP and shorter play time in general.

Try living in Northern Ireland mate were it's up to the local authorities to do the regulating of gambling it dosnt excist people are getting screwed left right and centre .

Now the best thing about is machines here are legally not allowed to pay out jackpots of more than £25 unless in a private members club yet we have arcades with 7s machines at £5 a spin with a 10k jackpot.

See pic this worked out well for me that time but we have people losing thousands with zero regulation.

I understand you. I would have quit online gambling also if i could go to the B&M casino as often as i play online.
Its much more fun in a B&M.

I checked up the RTP on Casino Cosmopol and all of the machines is around 93%, so not that bad.

It just does'nt make sense, to what is happening online. I seem to get far more small wins to compensate my deposit vs loss all the time. But big ones rarely ever exist. There's a huge difference in what a online and offline casino offers in payback / variances. Online it seems that one big huge chunk of win vs a casino offering more smaller wins over course of time. I can fully understand that that a landbased casino wants a slot to spread out it's payback where everybody could stand a fair chance.

What you see is real my man. The 95% does not even correlate to what you or i deposit. Let alone the chances we truely get for a shot at a good win. I've never seem to exceed a certain amount of 'wager'. I.e a week ago or so i just went in with a foot wide into a online casino (omnislots) over 3500 euro of deposits. I could spend this money easily since i else made a huge jackpot. But what seemed to be promissing as a good wagering amount to the top lasted me no more then 400 euro on top of my initial deposit.

Omnislots stated in a previous email as well, that their RTP is 95% and based upon all players wagering - this means that our bets are basicly being redistributed over all players active at that moment. So there is no real RTP of one single independent game anymore. It's just all being thrown on top and randomly being redistributed basicly. This system is in some landbased casino's as well but my experience is that the ones who seem to wager big (i.e max bet) seem to get a far better chance. To my understanding and feeling, it's more 'honest' distribution of my funds in this case.

So yeah, your not the only one. There are some folks here on this forum who will claim that wins are better and blablabla but they proberly never put a footstep into a landbased casino let alone did any research on the games they offer inside. I have the (strong) feeling that many online casino's push players who bet 20, 40 cents to big wins and eventually start betting bigger. The ones who are betting high are the ones being taken from behind the hardest (at least at omnislots).

I wrote this before, my experience in landbased even tho a lower RTP, is alot better then online. The variance is just more spread which makes it more easy for us to win, and walk away with money. No bullshit with cancel withdrawl, no nonsense with sudden account verification and all that after being verificated etc, I'm sticking to one particular online casino at this moment who's shown nothing but some good streaks (i'm ahead) and do not offer this crazy re-distritubion system some online casino's have. It's just like socialism gambling.

So coming from someone who was a VIP at a landbased, and really, did very well with a new car, 17k cash on best day, and a travelling cheque of over 7500 euro, trust me, your doing the right thing. It's much more fun in a landbased then online.

Or just quit gambling?

That's such a onliner to say, lol. The thing is the fun, action and enjoyment is nowhere to be seen in days at online playing compared to landbased. There are some folks here who believe that online actually does alot better, but my opinion on that one is that those never had a good experience in a landbased let alone had a footstep inside a good landbased casino in the first place. I'm pretty sure that online maths are crafted in such a way that people will lose money over time and that there's hardly a significant win to overcome my avg game loss.

I had a very simple tactic in Landbased. Take 600 to 1000 with me, and try 200 on each and different machine. If it does'nt hit after playing 200 > move on to the next one. At least one out of 5 will hit and either sets you straight or puts you ahead. Gambling eventually all comes down to being at the right moment at in this case, a slot. Nothing more. Online you are going to wager perhaps twice as hard before sometimes starts to hit. And it just frustrates even harder the thing teasing or throwing the most useless bonus on the planet ever.

I've done a rage-run of depositting over 3500 in approx 3 hours. I could afford it since i won elsewhere a easy 10k. So i was ready for the gamble. Whatever i did, which slot i started to pound on, all failed miserably. Then it hit me; that the 'redistribution system' that Omnislots was having and talked about, was simply against me. There was no way i could overcome that on avg. Was this bad luck? No. I've bin having the same issues over and over again. The problem is not just me as a gambler, but the way a casino could decide on how to distribute it's winnings to players.

Landbased casino have this redistritution system as well, think of it as a block of 8 to 16 machines, player wagering equally distributed over a 80 to 92% avg RTP. At least it seems more fair to me then on online basis. You get a fair portion of action, wins and with some luck a handpay. When i watch streamers, and i'm talking the ones who are serious problem gamblers, who do not smile when winning 10 grand, or the ones who play for fun, both seem to show the same type of gaming behaviour. Out of all their avg winnings, their avg RTP is less then 60%. How come?

I have no idea. I am no expert at numbers and all that shit. What i do know compared to landbased, getting a significant win to overcome any avg loss seems much harder online then offline. Sure you could lose landbased as well, perhaps much harder at bad days. But come often, learn your machines and you'll know how to work it. Sometimes i believe that playing online comps you for your losses as well. I'm not sure how this is done, but it happens. Deposit big a day, lose it all, and the next days your winnings are all of a sudden skyrocket.

I think of it as player profiling. They have all yours bets, braking points, avg deposit, avg withdrawl, maths will take care of the rest, turn you inside out and have everything on paper still look legit. And the ones betting 60 pences getting the crazy x000 wins. All designed to make those start betting higher, bigger and faster. Because that is why maths are crafted. Not just to guarantee the casino's wagering upon every bet, but to lure in more and more gamblers that could ensure their profit on the long term.

If i'd setup a casino, i'd be straightforward to the games, RTP, TRTP i am offering and show that there are no hidden backdoors or anything of that. When i talk to a employee of a online casino, their only interest is to keep you playing. Remember that. When your inactive, they'll drop you a (unwanted) bonus money into your account. Sudden luck may arrive at that moment where winnings are hitting the roof. Boom, your back at it again. And they have you about right where they want you.

Gambling takes alot of discipline. Know when to quit, know when to withdrawl, and know when not to deposit in the first place. Master these and you can eventually come out straight on the long term. I woud'nt bet just on one casino only. Play a few, win big, never come back. Because it always seems strange to me after winning big, withdrawling, any slot seems about dead as a karkas in the desert. This brings me back to the point of player profiling. They have all the tools to bring your complete playing behaviour on the map. Why shoud'nt they?

It's 2019. Big data. More and more landbased casino's are switching from the older style of games with huge volatility and payouts to more entertaining, lower paying slots in general. Games on consoles or PC's that come with lootboxes and all sorts of gambling stuff. Just to increase their yearly revenue over and over. Dont be fooled. Or dont play at all if you cant control yourself. There is no such thing as a free money mule.
