Tim, Bryan is taking a well deserved weekend off, so I'll try and answer your question, because you may have missed the development whereby Babs and Lojo started an independent site which probably fulfils your purpose here.
The location is in one of the threads that started after Wild Cards was closed, but it may be faster to simply PM Babs or Lojo and they would tell you where this new facility is at....or they may answer through this thread.

But to ask tim to 'be real' in your judgement is the same as asking you to throw all you've worked for out the window and be a Wildcard..

Tim is looking for somewhere to post some non-gambling material in the absence of Wild Cards.
I inform him that an alternative and independent site for this type of material has been posted about by Babs and Lojo. Trying to be helpful (which I doubt I will try to do again LOL!)
Lojo informs that he presented 'an option' presumably no longer applicable.
I suggest that was not made clear and that Tim needs to be assisted to find the new site.
Lojo then goes wingnuts on me with comments like:

i miss the wild cards but can adapt, dont like it but what can you do about it? it was stated ,this is c/ms forum and he can do as HE damn well pleases with it. i wonder if anyone knows how much traffic wild cards did bring in or has lost? im not good at all these percentages like some of you guys are but it would be interesting to know......l/j
People should understand how easy it is to misinterpid something that is put in type.
I think each one of us at one time or another mistook the intent that something was typed and offended another. Its not that easy putting into typed words the exact nature of how it is/was meant.

If you go to the main forum page, scroll down and you will see "Total members that have visited the forum today:" If you log in just before midnight your time, you will see the total for the day. Weekdays average 290 - 330 members per day logging in; weekends about 260-280. Now this tracks only members who have logged in - it doesn't track unlogged/unregistered visitors or search engines. (I'm only privy to that). Unregistered members are about twice to three times more on top of registered users. It depends what's going on - crisis of the week etc.
As for postings/new threads - it's about the same. Since people are unable to post pictures of their spouses' toenails or dog poop, they are finding other things to talk about - like online casinos/poker/bingo/etc
