How would you define a bonus being withdrawable?

Hi,

I recently joined a casino, recieved a bonus, wagered it and more, then went to withdraw. On doing so I received a message stating the bonus cannot be withdrawn. However, the Terms & Conditions of the promotion state the following:

"Players are reminded that bonus awards are for wagering purposes only and may not be withdrawn until the wagering requirements for the award have been met."

Am I the only one reading this in the way that means the bonus can be withdrawn? :what:

Cheers,
Andy

If you tell us the name of the casino in question, you will undoubtedly get some help and/or advice about this.

Also tell us which games you played, as some may be excluded from WR.

It does SOUND like it's withdrawable - but it could be a rouge casino for all we know...?

There is inconsistency in the statement with the first part stating that the bonus is for wagering purposes only and hence it is not withdrawable while the latter part saying it is. I think the casino should have been saying that no0 withdrawals can be made until the WRs have been met. Too bad they worded this wrongly so they should pay the player and then re-word the Ts and Cs.

Casino is of Playtech variety. Just waiting for confirmation that the bonus is not withdrawable before I name them.

That reads (to me) that the bonus is withdrawable as winnings after you have wagered the bonus AND original deposit x times, with x being anywhere between 8 and 20. For example, if you deposit $50 and get a bonus of $50, with a wage through of 20x, you have to wager $2,000 or more before you can withdraw the bonus.

The only Playtechs where you can withdraw bonus are:-
Casino365
Casino Del Rio
Monaco Gold Casino
Dr Ho 888 Casino
Diamond Deal Casino
New York Casino
Las Vegas USA Casino
Slots Casino
Sun Palace Casino
Twin Aces Casino
Vegas Casino Online
City Club Casino
Diamond Club Casino
Action Online
Sterling House Casino
Baraka Casino

If it's not one of these - it's probably not withdrawable. :(

Thanks for the info, KasinoKing. It is actually in that list so I guess something has changed in the past 2 months - and not necessarily updated in their terms...

Withdrawable -cashable - or not, this needs some reviewing by the casino as this statement...

"Players are reminded that bonus awards are for wagering purposes only and may not be withdrawn until the wagering requirements for the award have been met."

...on its own is (typically) badly worded, contradictory and, if what lowie says is correct, totally misleading - but then its no doubt meant to be :)

Don't be shy! Just tell us which one, and we will advise!
If you don't want to post the name. PM me - your secret will be safe! ;)

vgyhnji,
You may well be right! I don't actually play at any Playtechs - I just spent 4-5 exciting hours in May reading all their T&C's!

Try looking at over 400 different casinos' T&C every 3 months, like I do ... you'll definitely  or :eek2: .

I'm 99% sure this bonus should be withdrawable.
All the casino's I listed above have very similar T&C's, most notably, much higher WR's than those with sticky bonuses (as you'd expect).

Read the bold bits of the above condition:-
"Players are reminded that bonus awards are for wagering purposes only and may not be withdrawn until the wagering requirements for the award have been met."
That is how I interpret it.

I think your problem lowie, is almost certainly that you have not fully met the WR by wagering enough on allowed games.

Keep us informed!
Good luck

this is from diamond club, I am sure.

I asked support over 5 times if the

bonus was withdrawable and they

would not answer. I took it from the T+C

that it was, but after this post I'm

a bit worried about my eventual withdrawal.

Yes, it's Diamond Club.

I have been told that the bonus is not withdrawable even though I have met the requirements.

i take it you called them up?
there is no live chat feature now,
I've finished WR as well but dont
want to withdraw.
FWIW 15x D+B would be very
high for a sticky 1.

also, what should we do now
that they are pulling this BS?

No, I haven't phoned them yet. You can get "live chat" through the casino software if you click the yellow "online support" icon in the Lobby.

If you're 100% you've met all the WR, it's time to ask the Casinomeister's advice.
It may be worth Pitching a Bitch - but I would ask him first.

As far as I'm concerned, the T&C's clearly say the bonus IS withdrawable.

Good luck!

Latest update on this one. They are trying to claim I have to wager 35 x because I played Video Poker...weird.

The only mention of 35x is if you're playing in and are NOT from the UK!
(And then VP is not allowed at all!)

Is your address actually in the UK?
And what currency are you using?

Please Note that players that depositing with and are not from the United Kingdome, must wager at least thirty five (35) times their deposit and bonus amount before making any cash out. Bets placed in the games of Roulette (all sorts of Roulette), Baccarat (all sorts of Baccarat), Craps (all sorts of Craps), Blackjack (all sorts of Blackjack) or SicBo (all sorts of SicBo) and all kind of video Poker do not fulfill players obligations with regards to the minimum wagering requirements for for non-UK Players.
You could be in trouble either way - I don't know anyone who lives in the United Kingdome! :D
(Is that like the Millennium dome???)

Bizarre turn of events.

I have met the requirements but because I didn't wager the bonus (I only wagered my deposit apparently), I can't withdraw it.

Odd.

Odd.

You can figure how much action you've given them by checking what your acquired comps total. Check in the cashier.

Fwiw, I'm pretty sure this is a decent group (not roguish) and Diamond Club is sister to Prestige and Playgate. From all accounts I have read of this group they are quite reputable and player-friendly.
