How often do you have a slot meltdown?

Lol meaning, you were up and should have cashed out but to make matters worse you burn more cash to try and win that back. How often do you redeem or recover lost winnings?

I've done really well lately trying to not be to greedy after I rack some decent wins, and take it and figure I'll come back again. But every so often I get easy winnings to just burn it and then spend even more money to try and win it back, and it simply doesn't happen... At least most of the time in my case.

I end up just having to cut it all off for a few days.. But it's like the slots know when you are chasing that cash again, I swear it's like it knows! Lol

My last and one of my very few meltdowns was on Bonanza..
I was just waiting for the bonus to trigger but it took a few thousand spins, insane!
Went back to same casino for deposits purely to play Bonanza because at some stage it must pay back right? /sarcasm off.
Needless to say when the FS triggered it paid less than 20x bet.

RTP around 63% as of today..

One still learns lessons every day in the world of slotting! ;)

Too often. Not had withdrawal in 9 days. Last night triggered my usual curse Bonanza bonus at 60p from £5 deposit. Paid £127 so said I'd withdraw at 100.............carried on then said withdraw at 70...........then 50.......by time dropped to 50 I was pissed and went all out at 80p a spin. Not one bonus triggered after that initial bonus. Kicking myself.

to the should have cashed out but sunk it all back, too often
to depositing more to recoup, never
the beauty of me always using prepaid cards is that i buy one, and whats on it, is whats on it.
No more until my next session (another day/week) of play when i buy another prepaid card.

It's always good for the soul to know you're not alone lol

Yea having prepaid cards is a good idea but I know I'd still find a way when I'm craving that hard to redeem myself from a loss.

It's such a tough pill to swallow because I've done well on this aspect of spinning, and i can't just let it go in my mind, but I have to. Chasing never works

it happened once and hopefully it won't happen again
i used to use prepaid cards only but i have been using only paysafecards
even with just paysafecards it did get out of hand but i won't let it happen again

I just can't get over how I typically can get a decent little cashout on 100 200 300 bucks.. But since I squandered that money I spent like over a grand and nothin.. It's insane

I know that one lol. after not stickin to the said 100 and then when nearing the said 70 thinking 'ok fkit, not 70, but im definitely not going below 50' you kinda know deep down youre most probably not going to stop if dropping to 50, but with this false reassurance can then endure a brief moment of peaceful whateverness since youve still made a decision and can contine the punt without pondering.
But if by luck it drops down to nearing bust and ya spawn a comeback upto 60-70 its like a monster acheivement and ya stare at the balance repeating over and over 'im not goin below 60 now, no fkn way' and this time are likely to stick to it.

Or maybe its just me

If I have a really bad session, or the combination of several smaller 'chasey' sessions, I'll be beyond pissed off for a couple of hours, sometimes half a day, based on the severity of my stupidity/ loss amount :eek2:

Usually I'd have gotten over it the next day, but it still rankles a bit.

The really bad sessions stay permanently though. I still get flashbacks to some really bad reversals from time to time :p:(

When I do play now, I make one deposit and if I lose it I don't bother for days/weeks. If I win I withdraw, make a deposit the next day and if I lose then I back off again for days/weeks dependent on when I have the time and inclination to play.

I had such a bad losing streak, lasting months that I no longer play very often.:)

Care to name/ shame casinos you had bad luck at?

We need to get YouTube channels and record our sessions. According to YouTube you can make £2000+ a week from slotting, easy. Even the FOBT's seem to be paying out some people(Stop and Step for example). Maybe we're all born in the wrong month/year or something?

One dumb one is having a cash out threshold in your mind of say £100, you get a bonus and it takes you to £98.57, and end up losing all that chasing the last £1.50.

Or reaching the cash out threshold and then playing on and losing £60 trying to collect a £4 kitty/chest/world bonus on viking runecraft/sweet alchemy/gemix.

Yep, a classic one, that. Too many times have I been at say £180 stating I'd withdraw at £200, but then it never happens and you lose the lot.

It's the 'Icing on the cake chasing' that usually leads to my downfall, more commonly known as greed

What I hate tho is when I can't help depositing more. Losing a nice rack up is one thing but then losing like a bunch of cash on top is what really eats me up
One thing that helps me, is that I don't use a credit card and I try to keep a low bank balance, keeping cash at home, instead.
