can a online casino be run from inside of a 2500 sq. ft. house , in other words all things being ok could a person run a online casino from with in his 2500 sq. ft. residents lets say he/she dedicates 600 sq. ft. to the operation

I have no clue how much that would be, but I guess a normal office will do.
A few computers and you're set to go :)

That depends on the size of the casino of course. Staff do need some space ;)

Are you planning on starting one?

In Massachusetts I would say no. You will need some employee's and I believe that it is not legal to run a business from a residential neighborhood is every city & town in the state. It just takes one neighbor to complain about traffic coming and going and parking to sink the whole ship.
The other thing that will happen is your power bill will go up a lot running those servers which will be a red flag to the electric company who will notify the police that something abnormal is going on (growing pot with heat lamps).

Not sure if the same applies as here in the UK

However I have a couple of friends who run their own business (none casino) and to keep outgoing costs to a bare minimum they have rented offices / shops away from major towns and cities (also non-residential) so this could be part of a possible solution.

In fact I'm pretty sure that one of them only pays around £100 a week in basic rent for his outlet, not sure what that is in $ or indeed if this would be an option in USA but hope it helps in someway :)

Cheers!
