With a 2.25 million dollar deposit you would have a roughly 90% chance to win that 1 million dollar jackpot
That's just from the top of my head, not based on any real math, but until someone sets the math straight here (please do, I don't know the math), let's call that a reasonable guesstimate of what's going on.

I've read somewhere that there is a law in the US requiring disclosure of a less than 1 in 100 million chance of a jackpot. It's not exactly pertinent to King Cashalot or other online jackpots, but it gives you some idea of what is considered acceptable odds....
