Hello fellow CM’rs,

It’s time we stepped out of the shadows and presented Nolimit City on the one and only, Casinomeister! We’ve been long seeing mention on a few of our games so it’s time to make things a little more official. Thinking it might be good to start with a general hello and intro about who we are and what we’re all about :)

Nolimit City, written ‘Nolimit City’, not ‘No Limit City’- in short ‘Nolimit’, was borne from the brains of Jonas Tegman and Emil Svärd who have a long history of working together – literary their entire adult working life has been side by side! Experienced techies with an entrepreneurial flair, having worked at NetEnt and had first hand experience at founding ComeOn! Given their time at NetEnt, they’ve been long yearning to create their own Slots catalogue – that’s when 2014 came and they officially announced their full commitment towards Nolimit City, parting ways with ComeOn! and fully dedicating their attention on a new exciting venture. Since then the company has spent countless hours building an in-house platform that will support future game development. With offices in Malta, India and Stockholm, Nolimit has begun its journey!

Fast-forward to 2020 and we’re on our 26th video-slot release with the latest being our flagship title, Punk Rocker! We couldn’t be prouder of our journey and the roller-coaster it has been. It’s always easy to present a story of straight forward uphill incline, but that’s not the reality – getting out there in a highly saturated market is tough! Not only the challenge of getting the deal and going live, but actually becoming a recognized name with the players, that’s what really counts.

In 2019, we released Tombstone, that set us apart and really made players and streamers notice us – the truth is, Tombstone was inspired by another volatile, high-paying game, Hot Nudge, but that one is little less popular, although it did have its fair share of attention. 2019 also saw us challenge the market’s gravitation towards the notorious Megaways mechanic, by creating our own idea of what a slot game with multi-way variation might play like and thus introducing xWays® - a mystery symbol that can land on multiple reels and expand the reel-set, creating a new randomized set of ways in the entire frame. Couple this with xNudge® (present on Tombstone & Hot Nudge) and you’ve got some insane potential and endless combinations - take Dragon Tribe, Punk Rocker and Pixies vs Pirates as the best examples of what the two together can do!

We have a healthy roadmap of another 12-14 games planned for the remaining of 2020. The company’s mantra is to ‘just do us’, meaning we keep trying new things and keep learning from what worked before. Yes, it’s easy to just rip-off classic games, but that’s not how we’re wired – call it being stubborn or proud, but Nolimit is always trying to stand out by making something that’s considered at least a bit unique!

Here’s some of our upcoming 2020 titles to look forward to:
  • Barbarian Fury a 5x4 w. stacked symbols and xNudge® – 03.03.2020 (currently live and exclusive on Rizk.com)
  • Gaelic Gold a 3x3 w. xNudge® – 16.03.2020
  • Harlequin Carnival w. walking xNudge® – 07.04.2020
Good or bad, we love your feedback, so do feel free to share what you think of us or our games! Please follow our journey on Social Media or reach out to us here. We’ll do our best to reply back as soon as we can :)

Thanks,
The Nolimit Team

Welcome to CM :D

First something really positive!

I am a 'stick in the mud' sort of player. Playing online casually as a low roller since 2003!

In most of this time, rare, no make that very rare I have ever strayed from my usual MGS, Netent and more recently BTG slots

However.....

Having read good feedback, dabble in demo play (very briefly) I openly admit you are one of very few providers, especially those new(ish) to the industry who have encouraged me away from my regular providers and games.

Only played them briefly but Tombstone and Punk Rocker have held my interest and I've vowed to return each time I am in front from other games so my balance allows it and so I can have a good bash at them.

I stick to a (very) limited budget and always have done so never thrown a complete deposit at one game alone, including yours but the point in the main being that the interest and wanting to return to try again is there, something which is very difficult to get this player sat right here to do!

Best of luck with your future and upcoming projects.

Jon

What Jono said plus a mention for Manhattan Goes Wild.

Good to see you here on CM!

Wow, thanks guys - this warms our heart. I must say that you've got a very sensible approach to gambling Jon, keep at it.

We were a bit anxious for two things:
1. No one would respond.
2. If someone would actually respond, but not in a very positive way, we'd be off on a rocky start.

Well, that's out of the way for now and we can make a sigh of relief and just aim to please our fellow CM'ers. Most of us at Nolimit are fellow members as well (personal accounts), and we follow loads and loads of threads and probably spend too much time in this forum reading about other games - both for professional use and also just because it's fun.

Don't hesitate to ask us questions, even tho we like to be flattered as well. It's great to be a bigger part of CM from now on!

I have a question if i may.

In your latest release Punk Rocker, when near misses or near big wins happen graphics appear shouting 'sh*t' and 'bollo@ks'.

I think this is a brilliant feature and one that stands out as quite unique for me.

Was it an easy decision to make as a creator or was it mulled over in the board room for a long time before taking the plunge?

I dont like it.
Thats one of the reasons i dont let my kids play that slot.
Another reason being that i dont have any kids.

Welcome to CM @NolimitCity

@Kroffe and @bamberfishcake :

I can't say that it's brand new idea - we've dwelled on it for a bit and needed a fitting theme to make it fun and not just poke your eye as a player, when actually losing money.

We've always worked with "disappointment sounds" on features and excitement spins, so to take it into this direction and put it across the screen was a direction we wanted to go. I personally love it and you can expect more of that sort in some of our future releases.

Welcome to CM Nolimit City.

I have been reviewing your games since Hot Nudge and have seen you develop over time and for now, that culminated in Punk Rocker.

Punk Rocker is a superb slot, it is the only one I ever rated with full 5 stars, and that wholeheartedly. For me personally, it deserves the Slot of the Year 2020 award, hands down. The animations are hilarious (bollocks, lol), the soundtrack uniquely matched to the gameplay (it is the only slot I play with speakers often at max, especially on big win animations), the features volatile enough to make them surprising (with the odd disappointment in between).

You can follow what has been said about it in this thread: New Slot Announcement - Punk Rocker by NoLimit City

Reviewed Barbarian Fury just the other day, it doesn't compare to Punk Rocker but then that was not the intention IMO. It has its own twists and turns. Liked the Barbarian Respin especially. Anyone wanting to try, it is exclusive at Rizk right now for a few weeks.

All the best for your ongoing journey! :)

Welcome to CM.

I have to admit I like your games. I played Tombstone when it first appeared and managed a nice 1600 x win, had no luck on them since but I tend to gravitate to your slots - I for one am sick to the back teeth of megaways, the market has been saturated that it has become a boring entity to me so your slots are a refreshing change.

Here's hoping you stay around and good luck on your future ventures in the games industry :)

Well as well as "shit" and "bollocks" i would have also liked "that's just taking the piss" , "for fucks sake" and "really?" as they are ones I frequently mutter to myself LOL
We had so many options for these - quite alot of them were removed for being to weak or quite the contrary...

Thank you @greylady! We've got a style where we don't want to mimic and we always do new concepts and themes for our games. You do of course see obvious similarities in-between games when we use the xNudge or xWays features in different ways, but it's always to find a new and improved way to make use of them. You'll see some new ones coming as well further down the line.

Both the xWays and especially the xNudge feature create games which are pretty damn volatile - and that's probably why we've been said to be a "volatile supplier". Not entirely true, but the our portfolio has for sure gone down a more volatile path compared to the beginning of our journey.

We've seen your comments from day 1 @Harry_BKK - and we're incedibly humble to read such nice words about Punk Rocker. Our games haven't had a prominent position in the CM forum previously - it's usually dominated by BTG and Megway games - apart Tombstone and a number of other games. We've released 27 games so far, but of course with a small audience at the very first beginning of our journey since the number of clients wasn't a huge list. Punk Rocker was noticed in a big manner - both because of the edgy touch to the GFX, but also the math of the game and we're happy to hear that both you and others like it. Let's see if it is remembered to be part of the "Slots of 2020", it's still early in the year and those lists usually gets prone to consist of games that was released later in the year - I'll remind you when it's time for nominations, how about that?

Barbarian Fury has had one heck of a start, of course helped by Punk Rocker and Dragon Tribe which has been very successful releases. Barbarian Fury just isn't as much "in your face" as Punk Rocker is. That's fine, we don't want to do all games typically alike - we mix it up both in style and in mechanics and hope that we can build machines that you all like in some form.

No need to worry about number 1. People always have plenty to say on here to Rep's. Give it a few weeks and you will probably wish they had stayed quiet. :eek2:

And welcome to CM always good to see games providers signing up and participating.

Must admit not played many of your slots. Might have to try them out. Have tried tombstone and the punk one tho which are good slots. Probably tried others and not realized they are from you if they are on Videoslots.

It'll be all good - as we said, both good and bad feedback is appreciated. That's what brings our game foward.

Try Manhattan Goes Wild and Dragon Tribe, two solid titles with fun bonus modes which aren't too hard to get. You can find it on that site or a bunch of other sites as well. Best of luck!

nice eye for details! Well, that stake button is from the generic user interface and we don't bother much to do that specifially for just one game. I guess we just figured that the dollar sign is more of a general sign of "here's the bet settings" than a pound sign would be. sorry about that! =)

Maybe coins symbol would have been a better fit for this game than a $ tho as i noticed it too!.

It is a shame VS have gone the lower RTP route on your games, as most here will boycott them there because of that as i'm sure they would have got more action from players otherwise. I still play them but only smaller bursts than if they were 96%

I like tractor beam, which don't seem to get many mentions here, but its another fun game in the feature when you can get to the end, can be hard to trigger tho but to be expected with the potential of full screen wilds :)

I welcome your interaction with us here and wonder just how far you will go to answer our questions before you bail lol.

How forthcoming are you with basic game details for example eg max wins on games and true chance of wins like some other providers have given us lately, as it really helps the player make an informed choice about which of your slots fit a particular players play style and budgets without ending in serious disappointment playing a much more volatile game than they expected, and never returning to your games again!

Im not trying to scare you off already, and certainly not expecting you to divulge everything just some basic odds like chances of 100x or chances of a feature hit etc :) Most the time its something we can find out anyway by data mining but nice to have it from the horses mouth so to speak!

In any case, Welcome to the forums !!!

Since they said they appreciated constructive criticism aswell, i want to add that its a shame that they choose to produce different rtp-versions.
If there is only one version, no casino will run a lower one. ;)

Who knows, we still need to produce our games for the coming year as well - but feedback and ideas are always going to be beneficial for us in the future. It'll be 2-3 of us that handles this account, so we'll spread the load. It will of course be a bit now when we've just started and probably quite a bit around game releases.

We always push out our "affiliate game sheets" on our website before a release, with some details to the game math, just like "Max Win!". We try to be transparent and list the max win achieved during our simulations (usually 10 billion rounds). This is something we do for our own benefit to truly understand the math, as well as something we need to send off to our test houses to show that the game is fair.

We don't do a stupid "theoretical max win", which doesn't say anything. Our way to do simulated wins however only means that a small amount of rounds actually reaches those heights. It does however compare well between games and gives you as a player an idea of the potential.

We've also started to add the volatility meter on the games - for example MEDIUM, HIGH and EXTREME volatility. You can see them on the game intro when loading the game. That's of course our set rank for volatility, it might not compare to another supplier - but it's fully comparable in-between our titles in the Nolimit City portfolio. With that said - we introduced this badge back in the beginning of 2019, the games released previous to this date doesn't have that badge (yet).

Hot topic @Kroffe and @Reelsoffun!

It's been asked of us to do this for ages and ages, even before our days at Nolimit City. At Nolimit we've always stood strong on the 96% up until recently. We do however release all games with dual RTP - 94+ and 96+ (well, Dragon Tribe is really a range between 95.97-96.06% because of 2 bonus modes). We've got a new campaign tool coming out soon, and the thought is that it will sit on-top of the 94%-versions of the games. However, that doesn't stop anyone from using the lower RTP version of the game on their site. We'll hopefully be able to launch this tool shortly with a selected client of ours but it's a few months off tho - it's still a bit too early to say anything more.

Another NoLimit fan checking in :)

I have enjoyed many of your games over the last year or so, especially Tesla Jolt and Tractor Beam, and most recently Punk Rocker. Your games are innovative with good graphics and sounds, and your platform is slick. It's great to see a team of like-minded people try to build something fresh in a slot studio and bring new ideas to players. Players love to try something new! Opening a new slot for the first time is like opening an Xmas present; you never know what it's going to be and even if you end up not liking the game it's still exciting to try it for the first time.

No Limit City (and others like Skywind for example) are doing it the right way, actually trying to offer something refreshing and different to online casinos and their players, and for that I wish you continued success and the very best of luck :)
