Hey guys! Glad to finally join this community, Been lurking for a while now. Decided to finally join :) I will apologize ahead of time for my english as it is not my main language ( french :p )

I have a question if anyone can help me here, I usually always deposit on casino with a credit card, But decided to try NetEller.... And omg do i regret it. They accepted my money, But after i see that they no longer accept Canadians ( So why the hell did they accept my money in the first place? ) So now i got 220$ stuck in a Neteller account that i can't use. Emailed them about 5 times for a refund and no answer. They don't even have a live chat option or phone number to contact them from Canada...

Tried the virtual mastercard they give, But seems to only work with paypal and no casino that i know of accept paypal as a payment option. Anyone as any idea what i could do? Thanks and nice to finally say Hello to everybody

Hi and welcome to CM :)

You can use Neteller for a variety of things not just gambling. Due to legal reasons they prohibit transfers to gaming sites in some countries.

Your options are:

- spend the money for an online purchase
- request a bank transfer to your account, you might need to verify your bank account first. Will cost you a fee.
- open an Ecopayz account and deposit the money into it by using the virtual Neteller card, will cost you a fee. EP does allow transfers to gaming sites for Canadians.

Some fellow Canadians here on CM might be have additional recommendations. :)

Thanks Harry!

I already tried to deposit the money into a ecopayz account but it was declined on Neteller's end. :( So i just went on walmart and decided to order stuff there, But add to cancel the order since i saw there was something in my card i had forgotten to take out lol... Stupid me.... So now the money is out of my Neteller, Wonder how long it will take for it to get back in. And i really wanted to gamble with that money lol... Was my budget for this month ;)

That's strange, i shift gaming funds between Ecopayz and Neteller very often by using their virtual cards, never a problem. Did you deduct the processing and currency conversion fees from the total transfer amount when you tried to deposit the money into Ecopayz? If not then that is the reason why it was declined. Both, Ecopayz and Neteller charge you fees and if you entered the whole 220$ then it will not go through.

Will certainly take a few working days to receive the refund from Walmart.

I didn't even enter any amount :p first it tries to verify the card on ecopayz with a small amount, And just that small amount is not going through. It's probably only for us from Canada.... I swear these gambling laws in Canada are becoming so stupid.

Anyways my other option was thinking i could maybe buy a payfirstcard with the money via paypal, But the sites that i find selling legit payfirstcard only accept's direct interact deposit and not paypal or credit card :\

Next time, read terms. It takes a bit, but it clearly states that it is not to be used for gambling.

You'll lose a bit, but just transfer it back to your bank would be my advice. Or shop.

Casinos will still be there in a couple of weeks, but I know how frustrating it can be when you budget and plan and look forward to your play and are thwarted.

Ecopayz works well at many casinos, but is not accepted by all. Many casinos that do accept it will pay back to it if they cannot pay back to your depositiing method. I've never transferred money to ecopayz, it's funded by casino withdrawals or empty.

The Vanilla Mastercards you can buy many places work well, but cannot be paid back to. Fees add up on them though, it's $5 to purchase a $50 card I believe.

Moneymart offers a reloadable mastercard, I don't know if casinos pay back to it. I use a Visa from them, but it will expire in 2018 and is no longer offered to new users.

Instadebit is an option at some casinos, it's uses your own existing bank account. I don't use that method myself as I don't trust myself enough.

Hi Harry, How can we check which countries are prohibited?
Thx in advance.
