Casino Complaint Casino Rewards Casinos: "25% Reversal Bonus"...

Jesus H. Christ! I cannot believe that, they're the only UKGC outfit that I have heard of doing this, unless any others have done so in the past?

Well, let's see what they have to say, I will raise this if there is confirmation that the offending e-mail has been sent to any UK player.

This lot have lived a very charmed life IMO being continuously accredited despite the bogus news ads and this reversal stunt. Very charmed.

If this behaviour is allowed to persist then it's effectively devaluing the Accredited Status which other casinos hold, and hold dearly, earned by paying quickly, proper marketing and an ethical ethos. :(

I'd actually still play with this group had they not bonus banned me.

I am slightly behind (small loss) lifetime so never understood the ban as they've missed out on lots of deposits from me over the years and I mean LOTS. Sure I am not alone on this either :confused:

Proud of my will power so although I am not backing them up, reversal / pending periods do not bother me personally.

I played earlier a few hours ago and have made enough to do another withdrawal. I can 100% already see the "Reversal Riches" email show up this Friday... The 13th lol! It always seem to be on the second day of the pending period which would make sense since it is the last day they can "get you back" before the 48 hours of pending AKA forcing you to wait so they can send offers like this in the meantime. Such BS tactics.

I really wish there was a MG only site with a download client that didn't force you to wait over 48 hours before they get to paying you out and also did it on weekends. I would be playing there in a heartbeat since I don't get many rewards nowadays...

This is exactly why the 48 hours of pending should be removed since they use it to pull this stuff. I love the casino, but hate these practices. I send Renee_RA a message last time this happened and as I should have expected... Nothing has changed since then. Could you do something about this, CM ?

Thanks to all for raising this issue. As Dunover has pointed out we have a very clear "reversals" policy for Accredited casinos:
Operational Standards
... 9. Will not aggressively entice players to reverse cash withdrawals with bonuses or other incentives.

I'll flag Renee on this and ask that she respond, privately if not publicly. Beyond that I'm afraid we'll have to wait for Bryan to return from vacation before the real muscle will be brought to bear on this.

@Casinomeister
How are they still accredited? This is obviously an ongoing thing, and Renee has read the thread and not commented, so not a mistake.

I've said it to you before and I'll say it again: if you want our attention on something REPORT IT! Dunover did and things happen. Not rocket science.

@maxd - testing the alert thing.

Nope, that didn't work. Could someone @ me to see if that does it.

Also, an alert only goes to one person, a Report is seen by all mods and Admins.

@maxd there you go :)
From memory I think I used the @ so Bryan would see the thread rather than reporting it where I presumed someone else might pick up the report, but will report in future :)

It just gives an alert, and I don't check all mine so I guess the moderators don't either. If something needs their attention I always report instead just to be sure they read it.

Thanks, will do the same :)
I do use the report but usually just for spam and stuff.

@maxd there you go...

Yeah, I got no notification because of that. I've checked and I do have notifications turned on so that wasn't the problem.

Whatever the @____ does or doesn't do I think we are agreed that Reports are the way to go. :thumbsup:

Okay, Renee has discussed the matter with her management -- in fact she's been doing so since the thread appeared -- and has responded to both Bryan and I (individually). The bottom line is that her management's decision is that they won't be removing this promotion and as such CR are destined for the Grey Zone. It's my understanding that Bryan will see to this after his return from vacation. Renee stresses that she will, as always, be available to respond to complaints submitted to her.

That is a shame that CR won't remove this promotion. It really shows IMO that if they wanted to, they likely could pay people out within 24 hours, but they want people to wait so they do stuff like this. A real shame. :/

The Grey Zone is a good place for them. The accredited section will be a lot smaller now since there were many CR properties that was on the list. I think in retrospect, it helps makes it look cleaner.

Well for openly and unashamedly promoting irresponsible gambling I think the grey zone is lenient, especially when the rogue fake news ads of a despicable nature are taken into account. It just goes to show money talks and the revenue from reversals by whichever method they are procured (long pending or reversal bonuses) outweighs any value they have for CM accreditation. :(

I am still interested to know if they have pulled this stunt on UK players, if so we can ask what the UKGC think about it. They have a reporting facility for this kind of behaviour.

Renee has asked that a note be added:
please make it very clear that UK players do not get these emails.

Renee has asked that a note be added:

Ah well, that makes it ok then lol.
Not sending to UK customers clearly shows they know exactly what they are doing and its wrong, otherwise why not send them to UK?
Not sure why Renee can't post that herself, she posts on other forums, and if she's asking others to pass messages on, then surely she could post it herself.

Renee has asked that a note be added:
What a joke. So they know exactly what they are doing because the UK is the only legislation they risk getting a enourmous fine at the moment. Amazing

Edit: oops, Colin was faster

Not sure why Renee can't post that herself ...
AFAIK her management has more or less banned her from posting on our forums. I'm not sure why but I believe this has been in place for a while.

I know, and taking nothing away from Renee as she is an excellent rep, its the decision I don't understand, a bit disrespectful to CM too in my view.

If you know then why did you ask? Now I don't understand your original question.

As to the decision being disrespectful to CM, well, I'd say yes and no. Yes it's a shame they would rather use shitty promotions than stay on the Accred list. No in that they've got a business to run and if that's the way they want to go then so be it. Not the first time we've parted ways with a casino group over a difference of opinion regarding their business practice.

I meant I know, as in the ban being in place for a while, didn't know it was because of a management decision, but I think its a bit disrespectful to take advantage of being accredited yet not being allowed to post on here, when she is on other forums. If the management had a policy of banning staff from posting on any forum, then fair enough, but they don't, so why single CM out for the silent treatment?
