Dormant account
Ok any help will be appreciated. I sold my aunt my old laptop in which I had already down loaded platinum play. now she uninstalled it she is on dial up I am on broadband . anyway she wants to do the 200.00 free play but even after uninstalling it and redownloading it it still will not give the option for her to sign up for a new account . It shows my account number as soon as she goes to it. How can she redownload it to where it will not show my account? Thanks you guys

What operating system? XP?

You can go into the users section of the control panel and create a new user. When you reboot, you can log on as that user, and proceed to download the software from there.

That should do the trick :)

before trying to play at platinum play, she needs to seek permission first, if shes wanting to play a bonus, then she is in breach of their terms and conditions as you have already played there on that computer.

the best way around this, is if you havnt played PP on your PC, then sign your aunt up on yours and let her do the free play on yours.

while that may work for getting around the sign-up process, you are likely to encouter problems when cashing out when they see that the same PC has been used at their casino before.

Ditto on that. If she is opening a new account on the same machine that had the software previously installed, she needs to contact customer support and get permission to do so - in writing. That is of course if she is using bonuses. If there is no bonus involved, then I don't see a problem in this - but you need to check anyway.

I have found that once a casino is installed and a user signs up the details written into the registry somewhere and will not be removed when the casino is uninstalled.

If you use a program that will monitor instalations and uninstal them completely (Like Ashampoo uninstaller suite which I use) then every trace of the application is removed.

Its handy as most programs tend to leave some cr@p behind when uninstalled and im sure over time all this cr@p will start to effect the PCs performance etc
