Hi guys, I'm new to all this, both the online casinos, and the forum community, but I nonetheless ask you for your help. I have recently registered to Swiss Casino, and deposited 60 Euros. I got a 90 EUR bonus, and won some 40 EUR. So, I decided to withdraw the cash, because I needed it for some classes. I'm aware that when you withdraw any amount of money, the bonuses become void. Nonetheless, I tried, and the direct credit card transfer was rejected. So, I tried using Entropay, but that god rejected, too. Why? Because I first needed to PAY from that card before withdrawing. (scam much?) Anyway, I contacted their support, and this is the conversation: (I hope that at least someone will read it, it would mean a lot to me guys, and sorry for being a newbie.)

Copy - Paste:

Nicole: yes please
Hadzi89: I'd like to ask you something about the withdrawal process
Nicole: yes pelase
Hadzi89: I've just read that it takes 4 business days for the Casino to process the withdrawal request?
Nicole: yes
Hadzi89: Is that always so, or can it be a shorter interval?
Nicole: no never shorter
Hadzi89: Ok, just one more question, about entropay
Hadzi89: I've tried to withdraw using that option
Nicole: yes
Hadzi89: but it seems that i have to pay first, using that card, and only then withdraw?
Nicole: yes
Nicole: you can only withdraw the same way as you made a deposit
Hadzi89: Understood. So if I deposit, say, 5 euros, I can withdraw the amount I want after that?
Nicole: yes
Nicole: but, keep in mind
Nicole: that 25 is the minimum
Nicole: and if you play with a bonus you have the wagering before you ocna withdraw
Hadzi89: But, I payed 60 euros with my other card
Hadzi89: and the payment was processed easily
Nicole: yes, the payment is quick
Hadzi89: but, i cannot withdraw using that card? why?
Nicole: the withdraw is longer
Nicole: you can
Hadzi89: Ok, then I will try again with the direct card transfer
Nicole: you paid with Visa
Hadzi89: Yeah
Hadzi89: And I got rejected
Hadzi89: the withdrawal process, I mean
Nicole: you got rejected because you did not complete your wagering
Hadzi89: Oh...
Hadzi89: Well, I'm just going to try that method again.
Nicole: no
Nicole: you hae to complete yur wagering before you can withdraw
Hadzi89: how do i do that?
Nicole: read the terms and conditions of the bonus very carefull
Hadzi89: I'm sorry to bother you, but can you just tell me what to do? I know the bonus is void, once I try to withdraw the money
Hadzi89: So just tell me how to complete the wagering
Nicole: you need to play
Nicole: wagering means playing
Hadzi89: I know that...
Hadzi89: So I need to spend the bonus?
Nicole: so you need to play
Nicole: for 1280 €
Nicole: then you can withdraw
Hadzi89: What?
Nicole: yes
Nicole:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Hadzi89: How is that possible? So I can't withdraw any money?
Nicole: In the interest of fair gaming, wagering requirements are 20x (times) your deposit plus play bonus before cashing out any amount higher than your initial deposit amount (25x for GBP).
Hadzi89: Look, can you just take away my bonus?
Hadzi89: And I will have my initial money
Nicole: we already took your bonus away
Hadzi89: Can I withdraw my initial sum?
Hadzi89: I don't care about the 40 EUR I made
Nicole: no
Nicole: the onlything I can offer you is to reset your account
Nicole: so you have only what you deposited
Hadzi89: I didn't know about this...
Hadzi89: I can't believe it..
Hadzi89: So I can't have my money back..
Hadzi89: ok
Nicole: you should always read the terms and conditions
Hadzi89: A lesson painfully learned.
Nicole: you can have it back as soon as you completed the wagering
Hadzi89: Look, man, I am a student, and I need that money for classes... But nevermind, I am fool to invest in this in the first place
Hadzi89: so, thank for the info
Hadzi89: Just tell me once more, there is absolutely no way for me to withdraw the 60 euros? No way?
Nicole: listen, these are the rules, you need to read the terms and conditins before you can withdraw
Nicole: not before you not completed the wagering
Hadzi89: Ok, nevermind...
Hadzi89: I will do my best. It's your cash now, anyway.
Hadzi89: Thanks for the help!
Hadzi89: And wish me luck.
Nicole: good luck!!

Any advice? What do I do?

Hi,

You must be very, very new to on-line gaming. Even some with years of experience get stumped every once in a while.

You made a deposit, they gave you a deposit bonus. There are almost ALWAYS "strings" attached when playing with a bonus.

You must wager the TOTAL of your deposit PLUS the bonus however many times required by the casino BEFORE you can make a withdrawal request. Sorry, but those are the FACTS.

Hang around here at Casinomeisters long enough and READ enough topics and you will get enough information so as not to let this happen again.

AND ALWAYS READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT EVERY CASINO

Good Luck in your future gaming!

Unless I'm completely missing something, the customer service told you exactly what to do. You either need to finish wagering the 1280 or whatever you have left - which means making bets of 1280 before cashing out or have your account reset (which I think is the best option). That means, they take away the bonus and whatever you have won giving you your starting amount again without the bonus. That way, you can either withdraw your 60 (which from what I understand will take you 4 days) or you can start all over again and play until you win any amount and then withdraw the money.

My advice to you is to reset the account and immediately cash out. You obviously can't afford to gamble nor do you understand the bonus aspect of gambling. Not to mention, I don't see that you get the entire process actually. I'm NOT trying to be rude, but I'm being honest. You don't belong gambling.

So listen - reset the account and then withdraw your 60 which you will get in probably a week or so. Nothing lost but a few days without your money, but at least you'll have your money back.

On a side note - I really had no idea casinos would offer to reset your account - you're pretty lucky... not a lot of casinos do that I believe. But who knows, I usually read the bonus rules beforehand and know what I'm getting into.

Hi Hadzi,

I'm sorry but you're not going to like the answer. Wagering requirements are a common factor to all online casinos when a bonus is awarded. I checked the terms on Swiss casino in particular and the very first term listed is the one the agent quoted to you

If you tried to withdraw before meeting this requirement then they are within their rights to reject the withdrawal. As you rightly said in your chat, this is a lesson learned.

I hope you get lucky and meet the playthrough, but there's not much else you can do here. Read the full terms carefully before you try, to make sure you dont accidentally break any other terms such as playing on restricted games.

Best of luck.

(edit : wow I must type slowly... two other people got replies in while I typed this )

Thank you very much, weesie! I just have one final question, and I won't bother you any more. Can you by any chance explain what she meant by " Nicole: so you need to play
Nicole: for 1280 € "? Does that mean that I must win 1280 €, or that I must bet with that money? If so, do all the bets add to the total amount wagered, or is it a single bet that is necessary? Sorry for my newbie questions. :eek2:

If your remaining play through is €1280 that means you need to place €1280 worth of wagers before withdrawing.

Say for example you play slots at €1 per spin - after 100 spins your wagering requirement will have gone down by €100. Your remaining cash/bonus balance would depend on if you won or lost on those spins.

I hope that makes sense. Let us know if not.

Got it... I really am an idiot (for online casinos)
Thanks!

Hmm, well that actually gives me hope. I'm gonna ask the support how much wagering I have left to do. I'm on 500 € now. Had some damn luck playing.
You guys are really friendly, and I thank you all!

Nicole is telling you that you must wager (i.e. bet/gamble) another 1280 euros before you have met the wagering requirements and can make a withdrawal.

In the simplest possible terms, if you played a video slot at 1 euro per play, and played 1280 spins, you would have then met the wagering requirements and could withdraw.

How much you win or lose along the way is irrelevant.

Whenever you get a 'bonus' at a casino, it will come with a wagering requirement, the 'WR' (as it's referred to) is expressed as a multiple of the bonus (and sometimes a multiple of the deposit + bonus, which is the case with you).

You deposited 60 euros, you got a 90 euro bonus. According to Nicole their WR is 20 x deposit+bonus which equals 3750 euros (60+90x25=3750.)

By all accounts you have wagered a good chunk of the WR (2470 euros), but you still have a way to go.

So close... I'll keep you guys notified on my progress. I can't thank you enough. :notworthy

Well, I am the unfriendly guy lol. You mentioned you need the money for some classes so while you are new at it its better to put the money to better use such as education. Beginner's luck is deceiving and once you get embroiled in gambling there is no turning back. Nevertheless, I hope you get your money from Swiss casino after meeting wagering requirements.

I've got a little bit same practice with Swiss Casino. I deposited 70 EUR, after few weeks I won 1.600 EUR, especially on roulette. Each day a loose few EURs on slots. Because bonuses are not for wagering on roulette. I realize. And than... I want to withdraw 650 EUR -> bonus I must get back, it's OK, but they blocked me withdrawal and gave back my 70 EUR on Moneybookers account -> than thez closed my account in casino .

Is it normal steps of everz casinos?

Thanks

Generally speaking - yes.
At most casinos, the rules say you must not play certain games while you have a bonus in your account, otherwise they will remove your bonus and winnings.
That's why it's SO important to read and understand the terms before you play any bonus.

Welcome to the forum!
