As this post's title states, Bovada screwed me on a slot win...

On June 13, 2019, I was playing the slot game, A Night With Cleo at Bovada for $2 a spin when I hit a HUGE winning combo. The seconds awaiting a few hundred dollar win to payout turned into .60 cents. I took a screen shot of the spin..winning spin combo is located on the last line. (PLEASE REFER TO IMAGE BELOW).

I have contacted Bovada immediatly by phone, emailed the screenshot as directed by the phone rep. Bovada responded by email stating,
"A review of the screenshot you provide shows that you were correctly paid out. Since you only had one winning line. Please review the game rules to view the pay table and paylines...."

I emailed back and asked to please explain how it paid out correctly when the bottom line shows a spin that would equal a big win, not .60 cents.
Bovada responded stating....
"We apologize for any misinformation provided in our last inquiry, in regards to the payout line in your screenshot.
We can confirm that we weren't experiencing any technical issues with our website on June 13th. We've reviewed your screenshot, but when looking into spins, we always look at what is registered in our system. We found your spin in our back-end system and confirmed you were paid out correctly...To prevent technical issues on your end, we recommend you try the following troubleshooting steps:"

Bottom line is...how can Bovada automatically declare themselves free of any blame, or responsibility in this particular matter when I have the real-time screenshot as proof?

Who is the software provider for this game?
Not sure...I have asked both Bovada and Ignition a few times before this question and the answer is they do not provide this information to players.
I have only seen this slot game at these casinos so I think it might be their own, if that is possible.

That cannot be. They have a duty to provide you with the name of the software provider especially since this is possibly a technical issue. To solve your problem it is necessary to get input ftom the software provider as it could be a flaw in the game. Years ago, I took RTG to task over the game Diamond Dozen. They accepted it was a flaw and subsequently corrected it.]

That means Bovada must first pull out this game and examine whether they are faults with the game lest other players encounter anything similar. Provided the OP has forged the screenshot it is evident the game had not being placed under rigorous testing by Bovada before being touted as its own slot and allow players to play for real. They cant merely say their records show there are only winning lines that pay 0.60 when the screen clearly shows it should pay much more.

I spokek with another Bovada rep yesterday and k

Trust me I have asked for this information from Bovada and Ignition numerous times about a variety of different slot games. Every phone call same thing... rep puts me on hold, comes back stating that the casino does not share this information with players, and that this is an upper management decision.

I know it is total BS on their part.

Exactly my point!!!
Bovada just proclaimed themselves completely devoid of any responsibility here at all. On the phone, I keep referring the Bovada reps back to the screenshot I emailed...but they seem to think it is irrelevant in this case.

Bovada never admits that other players have a similiar issue regarding any issue...even when players are complaining left and right on twitter, forums etc of the same thing. But acknowledging something means it actually exists...so....

That is what I thought, but who is the developer appointed by them?? Big Mystery....
Actually, years ago, Bodog purchased the source code from RTG and started developing their games from this. This was a looong time ago and I am pretty sure that this is what Bovada and the rest of the associated casinos use.

Please can you post a FULL copy of the paytable?

Looks like a $2 spin to me, so a 60c win looks very meager to me for that below line, especially if it would be the top paying symbol.
Some games might not count wilds when landing in conjunction with the top paying symbol, thinking of the jackpot symbol on WMS Red Slippers for example.
A copy of the paytable would be good, so we can have a look at it.

I had a graphical glitch a few weeks ago on a Novomatic slot, so these things do happen but the casino has at least the task to explain this to you as a player.

Thank you for your response.
I agree with you about Bovada or anyother online casino needing to explain what happened, but I think they also need to either pay out the win or instead compensate a player with free bonus with a 1x playthrough...as reality is it is the casino website to maintain and take responsibility here.

I was playing A Night With Cleo again today at Bovada to see if any glitches happened and I caught one. Not a payout issue but two identical spins in a row that do not line up with the game at all. I will upload below...you will see what I am talking about.

I thought this slot was exclusive to Bovada/Ignition & Co.....I actually had another glitch happen playing same slot today. But not a payout glitch this time, just two identical, back to back spins that were clearly an error. I took screenshots of both I can upload if you want to see??

Had something similar years ago with the game Gemix. The level up reward was up to something like $350, but I did not earn nearly that much. They chalked it up to a one off, and a visual error, not a payout error. The game provider said it paid correctly, but the casino worked with me and we came to an understanding/resolution. Perhaps that is an approach to try, find a happy middle ground??

That was exactly what I was hoping from Bovada...called twice this week and phone reps said not doing a thing. Bovada customer service reps cannot say much of anything at all...they obviously work under strict guidelines and repeat the same pre-written statements so much it makes my head spin. I asked to maybe give me half the winning amount in a bonus with a 1x playthrough but not authorized etc. hence why I posted 5is as I am not letting it go.....it is not fair to any player to be treated so poorly.

Bovada is not regulated by a gaming commission, not is their RNG certified/audited, so a situation like mine is where Bovada’s true colors show.

Thank you so much but a senior advisor named Rohan at Bovada talked to me today for about an hour and after a lot of standing my ground....he actually decided that paying me $125 with no play-through or anything for compensation.

Rohan really listened to my side, at first telling me the same thing....that Bovada was doing nothing to right this situation but after hearing how unfair this was to not meet in the middle here he came back with something that I was totally satisfied with. It was very refreshing and gives me a lot of faith in Bovada due to Rohan as the real deal.

Posting on this forum helped IMMENSELY, as Bovada doesn’t want negative press for a player dispute considering there is no third-party to help a player, or regulatory body the casino has to answer too. Also, it helps to have somewhere to vent as a USA player because we have issues a lot and need to vent or get help.

Truly, thank you again for all your help I truly appreciate it.

Cleo has numerous glitches. After a bonus game it likes to give you an error code and reload the game, without the bonus win total crediting. Also, if you’re playing at a certain denomination, let’s say $20 a spin, and your credit balance drops below $20, if you change to a lower bet total and spin again it will error out and force you to reload. First time I had a bonus game error (was around $2000 win on the bonus game) I called my host and he told me it’s a common occurrence on that game. If you exit the game, play something else, and then return to Cleo after 5 minutes or so it will almost always pick up where you left off prior to the error and credit you the appropriate win amount. I had hoped they’d have fixed these issues when they updated the game a little while back, but it seems like they just made some visual changes and didn’t improve anything on the backend. In my experience, Bovada has always been good about crediting me with a bonus or something to make up for any in-game glitches.

May I ask what online casino you were playing at when this happened?

I thought a Night with Cleo was only offered at the Bovada, Ignition, Slots.lv group of casinos??

Would love if someone on ANY casino forum would post winning the jackpot for this A Night with Cleo slot game....it gets well over $100k every few days but never have heard of anyone winning it anywhere.

Maybe I will make a new thread inquiring if anyone on here has ever won the jackpot or knows of someone who has??
