Breaking news : a 40x D+B 100% deposit bonus is , so, a "not bad" bonus .

(the casino here is City Club - you may want to avoid them after this.)

He's right, it's not bad - it's fricking diabolical!!!
Bx80 on a PHANTOM bonus = insane.

What a load of BS that rep is talking.

Class1 (I know, didnt deposit there), Diamond Club and some other have a WR of 90 time B+D and also Phantom bonus (300%).
Maybe cause I'm from the Netherlands
So it could be worse :D

lol

How can he justify what he wrote when I can go to any of the rushmore sites any weekend, and get 150% bonus with 20x d+b. Up to 5 times at each site each week I might add. Or how about Jackpot Capital frequently offering 100% bonuses that AREN"T STICKY with 20x d+b. I just wonder what games are restricted, which could make it even more insane.

the sad thing is I bet some people read that and think, that sounds right, let me go for it. they just don't know better, and its the same reason the rogues will continue to operate. uninformed and naive people.

I've seen worse, but that is a pretty bad bonus :p

The worst i've ever seen are something along the lines of a bonus with maximum cashout less than your initial deposit, so you can never even break even let alone win. Can't remember the group, probably something even worse than Virtual.

another thing to ask about is what games count toward wagering - Ray played at one Playtech who told him that NONE of his play on progressive slots counted toward playthrough...

That isn't that unusual, 32Red, GoWild and many Rival casinos also have this rule.

Yes, thats indeed because you're from Holland, just like me..
At City Club you'll be tied to a WR of 99 times deposit + bonus.:eek:
Oh, and only to be wagered on non-progressive slots.
I think I'll stick to MG and Rival for a while.;)

By rights there should be NO takers. This is predatory, since NEW players have little idea what this means in practice (i.e, you might as well flush your deposit down the toilet if your aim was to stand a chance of winning).

Given how THOROUGH the casino security departments seem to be now, there is no longer ANY need to use horrifying WR on bonuses as a means of defence.

The rep is LYING, and I can say this with some confidence based on his TWO statements.

1) He's been to alot of casinos.
2) This is a good deal.

If 1 is true, then he lied about 2

If he believes 2 to be true (the bonus is a good deal), then 1 is false, he CANNOT have played at alot of casinos, else he would know how bad this bonus is. If he had only made ONE of these statements, we would not be able to catch him out in a lie.

It is likely he is playing the role of salesman. He has seen your interest in the bonus, and will say what it takes to close the deal (get your deposit for this bonus). He is hardly going to admit that MOST bonuses offered online are BETTER than this one, else you might not deposit & go looking for them.

REALLY??? :eek2: I did NOT know that.....I'll have to pay more attention I guess...it was much more obvious at Playtechs because the progressive games are the ones we play most.

I don't play at Rivals anymore (in Canuckia) and don't have an account at 32Red, but just opened up one at GoWild. I don't play much progressive games at MG casinos anyhow but it's good to know, thanks for the info.

I played twice in that casino, the last time after their reps called me on the phone and persuaded me to make a deposit. The bonus with 40x WR is a phantom and only regular slots are allowed (no progressives). Even if you are lucky enough to complete the promo, the money will be 4 business days in pending status before it will be processed. Last time i logged on to see if I had any funds left in the account and was contacted by a CR. When they suggested me one of their "whopping" phantom bonus offers, I replied that there are much better conditions in some other casinos, even in other Playtechs. The CR told me that I talked too much and should deposit instead. Needless to say, I deinstalled the casino within the next minute.

Cheers Balky

...... and now PREDATORY. This is MOST unprofessional, given that this is GAMBLING. It looks as though the CS do NOT like players to "mess around" reading the fine print, and then asking questions, but that they should quickly deposit based on the rose tinted headline offer, and find out the HARD way should they be lucky enough to win.

Experienced players are not so easily fooled, they have by now either themselves experienced, or seen tales from others, of how dangerous it can be to fail to check the terms of an offer before accepting it.

This offer is crap, and it seems that CS are trained to try to dissuade players from looking too closely at the draconian terms, rather than have offers that are competitive with what is on offer elsewhere.
