Has Warren Cloud passed on?

Right, that's cool.

It's really another measure that casinos like this take for your own protection, you know, to stop terrorism and money laundering, stuff like that.

Casinos like Carbonpoker.com and Crystal Palace group know that by using aliases and lying about where they're located, making it impossible for anyone but skilled investigators to find out, that they are protecting their players from abuse and fraud.

That's because people who run web casinos like these know what real customer service is all about.

Well now I don't know if Warren Cloud and Oliver Curran are one of the same people or two different people. Even if he is one of the same, my heart goes out to his family. He got around the World and made the "Coupon Code" well known throughout the gambling world. If nothing else, that is one of the few things that can travel around the World faster than anything else. All it takes is for one person to post a Coupon Code and lo and behold, The People's Replubic of North Korea has gotten it. One strange thing about all the casino's closing is that I just received an email from Silver Oak Casino (which I never heard about), indicating that they were thanking me for being patient while the revamp their casino, and to log in with my username are receive a $50 free chip. The only problem is that they didn't say what was the name of the casino before the changed it. I just downloaded and registered a new account, got the $50 free chip. Maybe the Meister can check it out. Here is the web page: www.silveroakcasino.com

Thanks

Very interesting  - the design of Silver Oak has similarities with Catseye Casino discussed elsewhere here and an ex-Cloud operation.

If this is true, it's a real tragedy. Even though we didn't see things eye to eye concerning running a casino, he had a family and a young daughter he loved very much. My condolences go out to them.

My condolences also to his wife and small child and I'm sure a real tragedy in their eyes but Karma is a real bitch as a lot of you know...what goes around...comes around, sooner or later !

How many good folks do you think that he gave chest pains to or actually caused worse health problems with them worrying about whether or not they would get their money from this crook or not, this guy gave a new meaning to the word Rogue and he still owes me money to this day that I wrote off a long time ago...

I guess now would be a good time to make a claim against his estate but I'm sure I would have to stand in a long line of others doing the same...a real class act this guy was, I'm actually surprised it was a heart attack that got him and not a bullet !

It's a pseudonym - most casinos practice the same. It's not too often that people use their real names as casino managers.

Happens outside gambling too..I came across it in a financial call centre once. The logic being that because customer relationships were very important, they wanted to show continuity as staff moved on. And the Ronald MacDonald example isn't far away either - continuity by means of a mascot rather than a celebrity. Aside from which it wouldn't be great PR if the celebrity died from food poisoning, while any number of people who reside in the Ronald suit can die of it, no problem. Although who would pay for a Maccy D's cheeseburger by credit card MJ? ;)

I am told I can claim a 160% bonus at ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!

Claim your exclusive 160% BONUS at ALL of the casinos listed below between Friday July 18th and Thursday July 24th and with your first 20 deposits in EACH CASINO you'll AUTOMATICALLY qualify for 160% ABSOLUTELY FREE!!

I also noticed this:-

1ST - 7TH of each Month 100% BONUS
UP TO $15,000 1MONTH7
8TH - 14TH of each Month 120% BONUS
UP TO $18,000 8MONTH14
15TH - 21ST of each Month 140% BONUS
UP TO $21,000 15MONTH21
22ND - End of each Month 160% BONUS
UP TO $24,000 22MONTHEND

That has old Warren Cloud written all over it. I remember this with Crystal Palace, bonuses of huge amounts as above $15K to 24K, and this is ON TOP of my free 160% on my first 20 deposits at EACH CASINO!!!!

This looks like the Crystal Palace group have shut down, and immediately we see 8 "new" casinos come on to the scene, complete with marketing and (supposedly) enough backing to be able to give away such MASSIVE bonuses.

Anybody, even if they knew about the rogue status of the now defunct Crystal Palace group, would think these were new casinos (well, they are). They will have NO negative press in Google, nor on many websites.

I suspect this is a company that has cut & run from existing liabilities, only to resurface afresh, owing no debt to creditors of the past entity, but actually being that past entity in all but name. This is rather like those rogue double glazing and conservatory companies.

I had an account at Crystal Palace, and this has got me onto the list for this "special" invite from "Alexander Cheadle", the manager of Silver Oak, and who seems to speak for all 8 of them.

VWM, see here https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/any-informations-about-catseye-casino.25787/

Bottom line is (and this is not confirmed yet although some believe) Cloud's Doleplex Group was purchased, in whole or part, by Virtual Casino Group.

Just looked. I would like to thank the CS rep that let all the cat's out of the bag in one go. Such honest answers, so she has to be new at Virtual:D

This is interesting, given that players were SUPPOSED to have until JULY 31st to finish off playthrough & withdraw at the old Crystal Palace group - how can this EVER have been so, they are already closed and reopened with new names, and zero balances too I expect.
There was a clear intention to deceive players into believing these casinos were new, and had nothing to do with "rogue" existing groups. This would have given virtual group the opportunity to scam vast deposits from hapless players fooled into claiming their 160% on 20 deposits x 8 "new" casinos, as well as their monthly boni, around 40K per casino during this month. I presume this was intended to make a fast buck before the truth came out that these "new" casinos were really the number 2 rogues having been taken over by the number 1 rogues.

RTG simply nodded this deception through without question - so it is not only players they don't care about, they are aiding and abetting a deception by one of it's biggest licencees intended to "scam" a new batch of players, as well a taking a second bite from those poor buggers already screwed over by Crystal Palace group.

These 8 "new" casinos should get an automatic pass into the rogue pit, and now we know which group to put them under.

Now, a whip round for that honest CS rep - bet she will be out of a job by now;)

What would be the best thing for one if he owes tons of money to the thousands of ppl? I think it would be that everybody think that he is not alive anymore...;)

This is unlikely. Warren Cloud died off the coast of Spain, and there had to have been a body to diagnose "heart attack". He supposedly had nothing to do with his old empire, having concentrated on operations in South Africa. Clearly, this was not true, and he had sufficient connections with his old group for his death to cause them to be killed off. It seems they have not just rebranded, but been bought out by virtual group, who are even more rogue than Warren Cloud's operations used to be. This would allow Virtual access to the player base at the old Doleplex casinos, and they have wasted no time in using it to send out the spam for the new casinos.

It seems problems have begun already, with players downloading these "new" casinos and being caught out with "duplicate accounts" through having an account under the old Doleplex name, yet this information is deliberately concealed - so players have no way of knowing whether they might have existing accounts or not. This will pave the way for confiscation of winnings from players that do start to play at these new casinos, and win overall for the first time, only to find they get only their original deposits back (a common virtual trick). The other Virtual trick is where they have a max cashout even when players have not taken a bonus, on the grounds they have had more bonuses than they have deposited, always true where bonuses are all over 100%, and offered on every deposit. The added trick is that now they can use "secret history" from bonuses and deposits under the old Doleplex name to pull this trick with the new casinos.

With the massive bonuses on offer during July, I am sure August will be a month of complaints about these new operations, and we will have to remind these poor souls that they have been playing at Virtual group casinos, and will have quite a struggle to get paid.

This is what I believe. The name Warren Cloud is fictional. Therefore his death can be wrote off anyway he pleases. I remember reading earlier this year, where he sold all his stake in the casino business. He made plenty, plenty of money. Remember the cars he was bidding on Ebay? I think he paid off most of his BIG investors. And now disappeared from the scene as Mr Cloud. These new group of casinos was bought from him earlier on. And after all the paper work and license expires on Mr. Cloud behave. He can now die off and Never worrying about traveling aboard. The character is Dead and the Real person lives on.

Warren Cloud is (or was) real enough alright. I think Bryan can attest to that having actually met the guy.

Im sure he was a real guy...We see actors all the time from sitcoms and still refer to them by their stage name. Warren Cloud real name could be John McDubya Bush. While Warren is dead but John is still alive.

This is what bothers me. He had divested himself of his interests in Doleplex, but somehow his death triggers the demise of Doleplex. It could be that Virtual has been running these casinos for some while, and had to fess up once Mr Cloud passed on, so they have rebranded them for a fresh start, but have had to tell existing players about what happened.
I have now been told my account at Silver Oak has been made available, with a $50 free chip and the most generous offer of 20x 160% bonuses each one up to $24,000 - $480,000 free if I was daft enough to take them all - beats even those crazy offers from them in the past.

This confirms Silver Oak = former Crystal Palace. Others have worked out what the old and new versions of the others are. I hope Bryan has amended the entry in the rogue pit to reflect this change of ownership & rebranding:D

Virtual might as well buy up RTG itself the rate they are going.
