I deposited money into my casino account a few days ago using my debit card but when i called this morning to check my account another $24.99 has been debited yesterday. I am waiting for the casino response now. I wanted to see if this has ever happened to anyone else and if so, what did you do to resolve the issue :what:.

This only happened to me once. It was at a regular casino that I play. We chased it round and round for a while and eventually I just had them put the funds into my casino account for me to play with since it was just a small amount and I would make another deposit soon anyway.

I don't know that they ever tracked down the duplicate transaction on their side, but They were good about continuing to communicate with me at least every few days to let me know they were still looking or something so that was important to me. I sent them a screen shot showing the duplicate transactions from my bank statement as well.

Now it is possible that if they are still in a pending status, that one of those duplicates will not get processed and fall off if they catch it.
 
Duplicate transactions are not uncommon. It may or may not fall off in a few days. If it doesn't.... Then things can get complicated.

I do hope you're not using a card tied to your household account.

It was on the 3rd that i used my debit card but the payment was taken out on the 8th :eek2: I know that i do not usually use my debit card for these types of transactions, i just use my paste and pay. I am trying to be patient and wait for the casino to pm me back but i do not think it should take that long to have made a duplicate card debit.

I am :(. I think i am going to have the card canceled. I could see if it all happened in one day but to wait that many days is scary.

good idea, just takes a few days anyways to get a new one, better safe than sorry....especially if you are not getting any meaningful communication.....

Yes i agree. I am very upet and i know now (too late) to never use my card to make online casino purchase again.
 
While some seem to have never had problems using cards tied to 'real' bank accounts (especially your main household account! :eek2: ) for unregulated online casinos, I have always strongly advised against it. One major goof up in processing or an unscrupulous employee or bad processor and bam! you've got bouncing checks and fees - or even worse, a flagged account.

Stay on top of this Rena. And... yes, you might want to get a new card. Hopefully you have no withdrawals coming back to it?
 
Thank you Mousey , no withdraw to my card luckily. I cancelled the card this morning so no new transactions can come on it. I will stick to P&P or pre paid from now on. I guess a hard lesson to learn but i am glad i was able to catch it before it was too late and more money was taken.
 
I have my bank statement but I am starting to think that either the company waited to debit my card or my bank did not pay the debit the first time even though they said there was 2 debits. The fraud dept from my bank did call me to make sure i made the transactions. I have learned from this and i will never use a bank card again for thee type of purchase. Does anyone know of a good prepaid card?

It happend to me once, CLUB WORLD, I could prove it from bankstatement so I got the Money back.

CLUB WORLD again. I made a deposit of just $ 21 with my debitcard, (glad it was not $ 200 or more) didnt go through but the Money was taken from my bank account right away. Im still in contact with them about it, because they told me I have dep. $ 21 in Lucky Red which I have and no problem with that. I have just send them bankstatement for the 2 deposits and will see how it goes. If they dont put the $ 21 into my Club World account I am doing a chargeback, because its my Money even its only $ 21.
 
This has been a nightmare for me. I played long ago before the USA shut out with my debit card but not any where recently until now. I wish i would have just waited but oh well.

Is it a good casino and you can prove it by a bankstatement I think you will get your Money back or else, if not, do a chargeback. I dont know if you will be blacklisted if you do so. Or if you dont need the Money, let go. These are the options. I will let you know about Club World, whom I have always trusted.

I did block my card but I will not risk a charge back. I think i will take another break from gaming for a while next month. I was very stressed all day :(

I'm really sorry that this happened to some of you. The double charge could appear sometimes unfortunately. Whenever we are notified we do investigate it thoroughly as we understand the player point of view.

Hi.

Got mail from Club World today that they were sorry about the trouble but the $ 21 is in my account now. So everything is fine now

I haven't deposited in ages... more than a year I guess. I simply can not justify the hassle/stress to entertainment ratio. And the expense!

Instead, during this past year I've saved up my piddling discretionary funds and purchased new rugs for my den, new curtains and new quilt/spread set for my bedroom, and new rugs for kitchen. $50 saved up every now and then can add up, and I diligently shop for sales. Money is much tighter these days, and I will enjoy the little things for my house much longer than the 15 minutes each of the $50 deposits would last in an online casino. LOL

I'd still like to play during the holidays, but I may skip it again this year. I just don't miss it much anymore.
 
My statement showed one transaction for that day so maybe it was only one and the bank was wrong or maybe they were talking about they blocked an attempt to use my card since i did try again to use it. I will review my statement when it comes but i will n ever use a CC card again. I did not want to pay for the whole statement so i chose the mini statement that does not show the whole day. I did get a letter from my banks fraud dept asking about the charges but i did not dispute them. The casino was very helpful threw this and i appreciate it. I will try to work on some of the things i love to do during my break. You have given me some good ideas Mousey thanks ;).

Through the years it has happened to me several times. In both cases I had to show the duplicate billing to the casino. One just credited my card back (CW) the other one I told them to just credit my casino account the credit.

It was not really to big of a deal but I still always hate dealing with crap like that under any circumstances. Even happens a lot on non casino purchases .:(
 
They mail you out one but if you ask for one from the bank teller you get charged(at my bank anyways). I could have got an emailed one but i wanted to be able to mark out my account number and my husband's company deposit details. I got a mini statement which is free but it does not show everything. The bank has a lot of fees and that is how they stay on top IMO.

Hi Rena.

When you get an email transfere or copy it to the program paint and then you can wipe out all the details you dont want other people to see by using the brush.
