Hiya. With Online Casino operations all over the world, and players all over the world, and people on this board from all over the world, Has ANYONE actually ever seen an online Casino?

Been to you? Got to go on a tour of one? Seen a video feed of one?

And from a marketing standpoint, as a Casino Rep. is this not something that you would want to happen? Would not even making a Video Tour be a good idea? I mean, if you asked every player to describe what they think an Online Casino actually look like, and what they really do look like, I bet there is a big difference............

I asked myself the same things!!! Whouldnt it be smart for an online casino to open their operations to public... that would help the industy to get out of that "fog" theyre in!

I know that someone here a while back had pics of Sportsbook, I think Bodog was on there too, for the life of me I cannot remember, sorry.

But then we would just have a bunch of pictures and video tours of parent's basements and backroom closets...:D

I think I saw an image of an mg casino a while go.
Its actually an image of what happens when I click on deposit.

Gonna see if I can find it.

We've been thinking about doing this.... but which office? Exec offices look like exec offices, dev offfices look like dev offices, c/s looks like a call centre, ops look like server rooms... we may crank it out as part of our Live Lounge anyways, just for laughs.

If anyone wants to visit our office here, you're most welcome. PM me if you're coming to Malta....

Alex

not entirely sure what you guys would be expecting to see in an 'online casino'??

You're free to come into our office and have a browse around my messy desk... just as long as you tidy up after yourselves! that way everybody is happy!

We expect to see the casinomanager behind a big fancy desk. A 50" monitor on the wall behind him, A couple of naked chicks on both sides of the manager, which is smiling and holding a big fat check with my name on.:p

Casino

Basically a small callcenter, and a few office for the affiliate managers etc. the IT (computer) room is usually pretty nice...

Sportsbook

Well, Same expect you have a stage also, and this stage is where the watch the games etc etc

If you are ever in Costa Rica, and would like a tour, let me know, and I will arrange it.

Well, a couple of operators seem happy for a FEW PEOPLE to have a look behind the scenes, so they at least have nothing to hide.

I doubt whether they are up for a free for all, after all, these are places of work, and there is also the issue of security when letting members of the public tour any kind of working environment.

Perhaps the best thing would be a video tour, something that more and more organisations are putting on their websites. They could also have one or two of their VIP's round for a drink (or three) and a tour behind the scenes, and they could report back to players what they saw.

Casino Action (in the days they HAD money:rolleyes:) invited me and a few top flight VIP's to a tour of REAL casinos in Vegas. The trip cost them several thousands of dollars per VIP player, but the UIGEA was on the way, and on top of this, we had a big terrorist scare on airlines, so the turn-out was less than anticipated.
Their offices were in Australia though, and I suggested the next VIP invite could be there, and maybe see their offices. It never happened though, they offloaded what seemed their entire team, and began the downhill decent which ended in spectacular failure.

My passport awaits the next opportunity;)

I was in the office of NetEnt in Sweden about 4 years back to meet their CEO. He showed me the support center of Cherry Casino. About 10 cubicles each with a computer and a support stuff. They were doing their job just like in any call center.

I have indeed been in the heart/center of two of the biggest bookie/casino firms, both the customer service area and the "business division".

I wasn't impressed by either, it looks like your average office(mostly the British one, can't stand the US remake :D).

Fortunelounge

I have seen pictures of the office building that the Fortunelounge management have shared with me more than once. They had a beautiful office building in South Africa and I remembered that picture because the offices were impressive. (On the outside anyways)

We have traded pictures and I have seen group pictures of their support reps, vip reps, etc...many times, but as far as seeing the actual cubicles...or such if I had I don't recall. They have invited me to come for a visit more than once, however that was a few years back and I never felt the need to go. I have won several trips with them and so I know the management team. It is an interesting question...however I don't believe they have anything to hide whatsoever.
