Guts Support & KYC Document Request

Whats happend to Guts support they take an age to answer live chat .... and I have sent a number of mails no reply ....

they blocked my account cause they needed KYC documents. Fine sent them in on Monday was told 24 to 48 hours. Checked yesterday
when i did get through to support they told me it will be sooner 24 hours or less. Today nothing ....


Sent yes another email asking when they think they will approve my documents (all in order same ones I use for every casino )

still no reply. Crap way to treat a customer and clueless support who fob me off with the same answer "they will be verified soon"

Yeah, seems to be a common subject with them lately. Getting a bit big now I suspect. When I started play there 2 years or so back verified and paid in about 19 minutes IIRC.
 
Some casinos will strive to be the best when starting out, and for a while Guts were untouchable. Personnel come and go.....

Probably not what they once were but in this industry you can't rest on your laurels. Customer service is paramount!

Maintaining that standard of excellence is difficult as there is no accounting for what 'ensemble' is currently running the show.

Sack the lot of them and start anew I say :eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
Yep after waiting 15 minutes on live support to answer me she came back and said your account is blocked because you have SE from Rizk ... im like WTF my rizk account is open ... I was actually logged into Rizk when she said that. I rare if ever use SE and only use TAB every now and then. Explained to her the situation that I was actually in Rizk ... another wait ... then oh yes sorry thats not the issue its just the ID department are busy you will hear from them by the end of today .... same as I was told yesterday. Im not holding my breath.

After last night's shenanigans at Thrills I'm just about ready to call it a day with this pointless slotting lark.

Seem to spend more time cursing lag and disconnections than I do enjoying a few spins.

Seems to be OK from my end - well that is the main page that is.

Opened fine here - I just logged in to make sure they keep to their word and that none of my achievements are wiped with their NetEnt removal. (my TDKR is at 42 spins x4 @$3 - ill go right bloody mental that gets wiped before my deppo next week)

Maybe it's a stealth 'Responsible Gambling' manoeuvre by the UKGC. Makes the games laggy as hell, mixed with a few disconnects.

Failing that, take the whole site down!

I had the 'you've been playing for' box pop up earlier too. It kept bugging out and not close, so I had to exit the game I was on :mad:

Truth be told though, there are worse things you could give up instead of slotting/ gambling. I ain't gonna tell you not to do it!

Guts im sorry to say you have been usless on this one. They can keep my account closed now as Im not playing there any more.

And going to do the same with Rizk / Betspin (which is now closed ) and Dunder whos support has been terrible may I add.

This group started so well but now have gone down the pan. Shame but we see this kind of thing more and more.

Very bad experience and the worst CS i have had in a long time. I wont be going back they can destroy my data as they have lost a customer.

Just an update never did hear from them on my documents a full week gone. I wont bother with live support again because im psychic and can already tell you there answer

"we are sorry it will be done by the end of day (after the weekend ) and then god help you if its a bank holiday as it is in England"

really crap from GUTS .....

seems like no one is home.

Anyway will leave this thread now as I am not going to deposit there anyway. My money will go elsewhere seems like they have no interest in a lower depositing player.
 
Same with me sent email back on Wednesday morning 5am and heard nothing despite I had the confirmation auto reply. And it clearly states 12 hours! I have sent pm as well now to their Rep.

Shame I stepped up with lot of deposits at Guts again like last week blew trough around £300 in no time with not lot of game for what its worth. Was going to start depositing and playing lot more but I don't see the point with so many complaints and moans about them at moment :(

GUTS still does me right, don't get me wrongly.
I guess I hold them to such a high standard.....but then, standards fell. Seems all the big boys get CM love, then once the love is there, there's well, no return love.

I would be careful to SE as Thrills is also going on there platform and no doubt others in there group,

It amazes me as before without a doubt customer service would of been able to sort this there and than, If not a rep would of jumped in and magic would of happened, Whats even worse is that they own the IGaming cloud which other sites want to jump on board, So this is serious not the way to go down, Not only is it giving Guts a bad name but surely also will not do any favours for IGC

As Jon pointed out about this gambling malarkey full of errors etc, He is not wrong there, In all fairness you are going to come across a few errors here and there across sites but its started to become a joke now days, The industry is worth billions so surely somebody could tell us what the error 211 / 011 actually means, I am pretty sure it does not mean delete cookies and cache :confused:

Well I dont play at thrills so that wont effect me. And im not using SE - rather just closing my account down. Due to the total incompetence of Guts to verify a few documents and being fobbed off with lame excuse after lame excuse.

:oops: But, hey.. At leaste you didn't take, take, take and then ask for ID :thumbsup: I've seen that casinos can find you on the electoral roll and also by credit reports... I HAVE TO PAY TO CHECK MY CREDIT REPORT !! :eek:

KYC is just another reason not to pay out in my eyes, I'll always see it like that :) There's so much to a casino that says "Fun" and then you see T&C's updated every other month (Like it or don't play here), max bets, KYC, laggy games (Only sometimes mind), random logouts and stupid amounts of wagering requirements.. There's the "Fun" gone :bubbles:

I'm glad I cut right down with online casino accounts !! Now I only play with the cream of the crop casinos :cheers:

I wouldn't even close your account there.

I closed mine at Guts years ago, but they just marked it as self-excluded, rather than close it. Maybe it was an easier option for CS ?

But because of that, my account at Betspin was blocked recently. That took over a week to sort out, mainly because Guts took about 4 days to even reply to my emails.
it's reopened now, but apparently Betspin don't allow bonuses on Neteller deposits any more, Which is the method i use mostly. So it was a waste of time sorting it out after all

And by the look of it my Rizk account is also blocked. But i really can't be bothered to go through all the hassle of explaining it all again to CS.

I wish every casino would ask for I.D ASAP, Nothing worse than making a with draw than get the dreaded ask for doc's, I know you can send I.D in brfoe hand but some sites do not like this or be asked to sort out untill needed, Rizk has an onsite upload I.D so no messing about with emails etc,

Hi the "rant" is not aimed at you guys but Guts support. However if for example I closed my account at Guts I would not be able to play at Rizk ... so in that sense you are linked and under the licence of Guts as per the UKGC.

Im in no way blaming Rizk for guts total failure to verify my account and zero replys to the 3 emails I sent into support. So clearing that up here now :)

Maybe you can clarify if I did close account at Guts for what ever reason could I still play at Rizk ?

I see my account is blocked now at Rizk anyway even though did not request it so maybe a mute question.

Just way to complicated for me and way to much hassle. Gambling should be fun :)

But sure I am only ranting at Guts here at not you guys :) hope that clears this one up :thumbsup:

Actually, after trying again today, Rizk is now unblocked

It is a UKGC requirement to validate the ID of every UK player within 72 hours of registration otherwise the account is auto blocked. KYC is a key requirement set out by regualtors and the EU Anti Money Laundering Directive 4

When we first opened to the UK we did not have an automatic way of verifying players ID's and hence if you didnt upload and have your ID verified yourself then the 72 hour blockage came into force.

We have now implemented an MGA and UKGC approved ID checking solution that will now approve tha vast majority of registrations at the point of registration

We also ran a batch update match against all previously blocked UK accounts which have verified a huge number and therefore these accounts are now unblocked.

This pretty much proves that the old method of verifying ID wrongly excluded a large number of innocent players, many of whom obviously walked to a competitor rather than face the hassle of getting their accounts unblocked. That's a large number of lost customers, some of whom could have gone on to be profitable depositing customers. Quite a few casinos in the past must have lost a fortune in potential turnover as this has been the industry standard way of verifying players until quite recently.


As for the "we are a completely different company", it tends to fall on deaf ears now because so often players have been screwed over by what they believed was a "completely different company", only to have winnings confiscated due to an action at the "other completely different company". Cassava and EveryMatrix should be awarded some kind of trophy for the number of times their skins have been "completely independent companies" when players are depositing and losing, but then "sister sites" when they win and there is an opportunity to confiscate it.
