Guts Support & KYC Document Request

Playing in euros and withdrew about 1,700 (in euros) so had to pay 'conversion' fees to get it to £(GBP)

Was from that very lucky Rhino hit last weekend (video in WV section in case you missed it :p)

Best part is Skrill ATM Mastercard only allows daily withdrawals of £180 so took several visits to turn numbers on my screen into cold hard cash, each transaction at the cash point also cost around £2.50, so another £20 or so in fee's there :eek:

Not complaining for one second really, would pay fees all day, every day, would mean I'm winning, winning, winning :D

Well done on the wine but with Skrill why not just withdraw it back to your bank online. So as they process it - it hits your bank within minutes and only 1 charge. They process withdraws daily and would have saved you the 2.50 per atm withdraw.

When using the skrill card especially when withdrawing the max than 2.50 is nothing, & well worth it at the time, But you are right and can withdraw to bank but I do not think the U.K has a dircet bank transfer option and it also charge to withdraw to bank,

@JonM your limit increases over time so does your spending limits, as I think mine is nearer 200 for withdraw at ATM at the minute

Hi they do have direct bank transfer. Every withdraw I have had the past year from Skrill soon as they process it within 10 minutes its in my bank account. They process withdraws daily , but not on weekends.
Example 2 weeks ago requested a withdraw Sunday, got confirmation of it. Then Monday morning confirmation it was process and it was in my bank within 10 minutes of getting that email. Yes there is a charge with it
but 1 charge only. Sure ATM withdraw is good to your money straight off but for a larger amount I would always use the transfer option much cheaper.

I see the fees are a talking point still - understandable indeed and to those who get the most irked I can only say that I have shown this thread to people who are involved in payments. I cannot get involved further, as I have absolutely zero say in the payment policies for our central platform - if it was up to me there would never be any fees, because it would mean my punters are happier about that. That is of course also egotistical of me, as I am a casino manager and have partial control over ops, marketing and casino products like games - so I don''t even know what the costs vs income considerations are for payment fees.

So I'll need to end my comment with the following:

1) As stated before many times, please open a relevant thread if you wish to discuss this - and stick to the same topic on said thread. When it goes like it does on this thread it becomes a quagmire to sift through, and there is less chance that your concerns will be addressed. Trust me, this advice is also very much for your benefit :)

2) We'll see if I can receive information from the parties that control this that is relevant to the issue at hand - if I do, I'll gladly post it on a thread that is specifically dedicated to this subject (see point 1). I sincerely hope that we can do better by yourselves, if possible. We still give more bonus and spins then just about anybody else I can find on the web, so hopefully that also helps weigh a bit in our favour! That is something that I do personally have some influence over ;)

New to guts and had question about how do my the verification process was taking so long and in locked out of my new account while they do that ? Seems a bit wrong to me. Have beginner luck , get penalised and locked out till they make sure you're a real person ? Never came across that before . I've no problem confirming my identity .. just find it very weird to be locked out while doing so !!!

I think poor support is one thing what should be commented on this thread, i understand that there is lots of work on those guys to review documents etc...
But like many of people this thread has said , support has gone bad from what it used to be.

That's true but I think that has already been discussed earlier in this thread. I'm not sure what was said but I do not want to go back and read. It's way too much.
He asked though that it's better to start a new thread so he know what issue it is to solve instead of people dicussing everything in the same thread expecting him to reply to different issues.
If you have anything specific you need help with though you should always send a pm. Or if you start a thread then tell him, otherwise he won't know since he's not in every day.

Guts security sent me an email today to say that the card Id sent them for verification hadn't enough numbers blacked out. This was after verifying in a email previously that they received the correct documents and were processing. This was already 72 hrs in. Usually it's the last 4 numbers that are shown and the rest is blacked out but they wanted the first 6 and the last 4 shown so I had to go photo the card and send it back again, no doubt adding another 72 hrs wait time to be verified , allowed back into my account and my winnings sent on to my bank which I've waited for since Thursday night !

Very frustrating and due to their customer service I don't think il be using their site . It does matter a lot how fast turn around times are.

It seems different casinos have different requests, some say "block the middle 8", and often it's only the last 4 that are considered important. Of course, it's the security code on the back that should ALWAYS be blacked out as this should prevent the card from being cloned. Maybe blocking the third group of 4 and the 3 digit code on the back would satisfy all the various standards. Some casinos might get more numbers than they want, but none should complain they had too few.

Of course, the other problem often reported is "the image is blurred", and it seems that casinos have cheap viewing software as players usually view the files before they send them, and so KNOW that the claim is BS, or at least down to inappropriate viewing software at the casino end.

If I can clearly see the image of my card in bog standard Microsoft viewer or Paint, then any casino telling me it's "blurred" is feeding me BS.
