Just got a phone call from Greendot CS asking me if I had made a $439.00 purchase today with my card. I only use this card for online playing and never load more than I will spend at one time. There's only $2 on it right now so I guess that was the red flag. LOL!

Told him absolutely not so now my card is cancelled and another one it coming.

There are only 2 casino groups that I play at and I absolutely do not use it anywhere else.

Things that make you go Hmmmm?

Yep my same card was compromised back in November and December as well at a few online casino groups.
People wouldn't heed to my ranting about it then, and it happened again to another person.
Slotocash thinks it's something about Green Dot's system. I still really think it was Slotocash's processor, yet they'll never admit to it. Unless if the whole new slew of support people is because it was an inside job and they just covered it up. On either note, she funded for me to get a new green dot card and got some compensation on the side. Knock on wood, my new card hasn't been compromised yet, but imagine that they've also switched processors. Oh well.

Did a little digging and looks like someone was buying new clothes.

The charge was White Stuff Ltd., London for $439.37. Guess whoever needed a new summer wardrobe.

I only use this card for online gambling and only at CW group, Slotocash, Desert Nights, Slotoscapital and InetBet. Guess I need to contact these casinos and let them know there could be/probably was a security breach somewhere.

Read in the news a while back that a lady's card was compromised, but she didn't catch on till all sorts things she didn't order began showing up at her home in the mail and by UPS, etc. LOL Guess there were a lot of merchants that wouldn't ship to anything other than the address that matched the card owner. LOL

Anyway... I hate your card was screwed with. Not a bad idea to let the casinos know - especially since that's the only places the card's been used.

My netspend card was comprmised about 2 weeks ago I only noticed because someone was calling to check the balance every day for 3 days and I had a 50 cent charge for each day, my balance was like $4

Doesn't it just make you want to slap somebody, knowing that someone out there has all your personal information and you don't know who it is.

Did they change your pin number? Don't you have to enter it when you call the automated account info number#?

Might be a good idea to close that account and open a new one.

As I only used mine for online gambling, it's not going to effect me other than if I want to deposit again.

Just pisses me off greatly.

yes I got a new card number and a new pin

Guess i will chime in here, my email was compromised which has my statements go to it on my bank card then a few charges appeared all at once then i saw the post from Casinomeister, cancelled the card and every card i have associated on my email account. New one came in today thank god but its a pain resubmitting all that paperwork, thank God for Karoline who told me just send a copy of the new card rather than redoing everything again.

I didn't know you could use green dot cards. I thought they were for domestic purchases only and could not make international transactions.. Is this a prepaid or a reloadable card? Thanks for your help?

Just thought I'd give an update.

I have received emails from both Slotocash and CW-Karolina requesting extra details or as much as I have. It seems that they are working diligently to get to the bottom of this. A big thanks to both casinos.

Gambler, GD works for me but it could end at any time. LOL!
