Grand Theft Auto has a casino in it's game which takes real money!

Jeremy is da man. I wonder if EA are going to stick with their wording of 'Surprise Mechanics' to replace 'Loot Boxes' :eek2:

Me thinks they're gonna double-down on their BS

For sure. Its soooo much money involved in their lootboxes.
I like one of the comments i saw on youtube. "Im not pirating your games, im just a suprise customer" :D

I found that wording to be very cheeky of them. I am not a gamer due to getting motion sickness but I do follow the news. Lootboxes and having to pay to advance in a game faster and to buy skins is abhorrent to me. You buy a game for a high enough price, you shouldn't have to pay extra. That's just me though.

This "Surprise Mechanics" is outrageous and I hope it doesn't last too long. There will be a whole lot of pissed off parents if it continues. Imagine having your teen addicted to gambling by playing GTA. SMH

Or some more delectable ones like "I'm not stealing your girlfriend, I'm just getting Early Access"

Im in no rush, ill wait for the boobjob dlc.

Im okay with ingame purchases as long as its purely cosmetic.
Pay2win is a very boring gamemodel.

In-game purchases in the form of a small microtransaction would be okay as long as there aren't that many of them. Can't remember which game but I think last Christmas it was charging something like $20 for a Santa suit skin or something. So it does get really outlandish. Also for games that have in-game purchases, there ought to be a way to control it. I think the developers of these games are taking it a bit too far.

Me too! I remember I could play Doom back in the day, until I got to the last level. I felt ill every time I tried it. Duke Nukem 3D wasn’t too bad but everything that came after, no chance.

I used to play a lot of racing games and they were fine, same with turn based strategy games, but anything else.... :puke:

I know it sucks so bad. I couldn't even watch Spiderman into The Spiderverse. I can't watch anything with shaky cam either. I'd love to be able to play games but alas it isn't to be.
