Supreme value on First Lieutenant 66/1 best odds(courtesy of oddschecker) if you bet with Betvictor 1/4 odds if your each way nag comes in top 6 places!

Also great value on Silvianaco conti for the 18/1 shot.

Gallant Oscar has come close to winning the prestigious honour of grand national winner on several occasions and today may just be his day. You can get 18/1 on this horse(best price) Earlier today he was 20/1 so it could be another good shout.

Because of the rain the going will be good to soft and soft in places. This is very important when picking your horse. Of course this is a novelty horse racing market not really for serious bettors but I always enjoy putting a punt on. The going is now soft, heavy in places.

Some recent previous winners in the last 10 years:Neptune colognes,Comply or die,Ballabriggs,Many Clouds.

The conditions affected everything. My top pick was from the same trainer of the winner though...but due to atrocious conditions he fell on the 2nd unfortunately. The previous winners were not tips that was just in case somebody wanted to back a horse that had won previously. Only 12 horses completed the race! Damn rain!

Decided 'Rule the World' seemed a bit too 'obvious' so didn't bother

Went for a couple of outsiders @ a very ambitious 66-1 a piece, managed 6th and a faller!

Football bets also down the drain thanks to Preston who have scored almost every week until today :(

Last night's £80 balance after a nice Untamed feature (upload later) virtually bust due to sub zero cold slots and too large a WR

Decided its 'National Losers Day' in my household lol

yeah took Southampton, middlesborough, derby, qpr, portvale and wigan. thought qpr were going to blow it till they scored late. Glad I put bet on in shop now when I placed boys horses as id be wasting it on slots and not withdrawing lol like I normally do.

Always do my footy via shop too Paul, same reasons and more so since Laddies got the dreaded Rhino.

Preston let me down for BTTS (about £60 from a quid)

Got Plymouth Vs Wimbledon wrong way round on results rush 2-1 the other way would have been about £40 from 0.50p!!

Also messed up big time on Goalfest, put 2 or more and realised after I'd included Burnley's early KO so that was in the bin before the other matches started!

Bring on next week :D (and the week after...and the Euro's )

This is reason I 2 years ago changed my Bet365 account. Everything blocked apart from sportsbetting  Since then I am actually making nice profit every month as after a good win I will withdraw at least most of it

That it then gets wasted later on at casinos is a different matter :D
