GoWild casino: problems

This is really starting to sound like the classic "stall-them-we've-got-a-cashflow-problem" scenario.

That's what is so good about the CM forum, we have members who have seen this all before. Whilst others are able to draw their knowledge from both sides of the fence.

Hi i got this email from a go wild affiliate, I given you three screen shots so you can get a taste off this spam. It looks just like a official go wild email. probably because it was.

Note they got my name to, from the go wild staff no doubt.

Question: Why would Gowild staff give your info to their affiliates to promote themselves? Why not just send the promo to you directly.

Answer: because i think it is there new sign up offer, instead off the 200% bonus and 30 nd, you get a 100% match and 5 nd.

I have done there sign up offer long time back now.

Its casino rewards all over again, but with a spam mail that actualy looks like its sent from the casino, so obviously they have given there ahole affiliates there skins to there emails.

I would off thought there affiliates probably work on site out of view, next to the toilet and thriving to date.

Ps, you realy cannot get a very clear picture from the pics i posted, but this spam mail actualy is exactly the same as a go wild casino bonafide email.

None that I'm aware of. The PABers have been reporting a whole lot of nothing happening. I'll check in with BB to see if he's got news on this.

 Okay ... not sure what one has to do with the other.

In any case, turns out Bryan hasn't got any news on them either.

I really like the last line about the 100% bonus, if they even looked they could see that I have already claimed the bonus!!

FWIW, I have just been informed by the rep (Floyd GoWild) that (almost) all of the PABers are to be paid out "in the next few days". I'm sure we all look forward to seeing that happen.

Sounds contradictory to me

when i signed up to go wild before the usa deadline i used an new yahoo addy. i do this for all online casinos so i can track email. i have since been openly critical of their operation. yesterday i recieved an email with some sort of offer from them. didnt even read it but i did respond telling them i would never deposit there because of the poor reviews, customer service and, of course, their rep going awol. today i open that email addy and have about 30 spam emails from every kind of mailing list imaginable. all sent at about the same time late last night. lol. very funny and clever if we were in high school. i will say this, i can take a joke as much as the next person but if any personal info is shared or i should happen to get any inappropriate emails or snail mails, i will come calling. i have the time. money and friends to locate anyone and i will. joke was funny but that had better be the last of it.......

That's great news. However, we may need to take a hard look at why these players werent paid when they won and had to wait for such a long time. It has been more than a month since they indicated that the processor problems had been solved yet there are still so many unpaid players. Normally, everything is fine when a PABer gets paid but this is different in that the issue does not stem from the player but rather an apparent inability on the casino's part to pay out on legitimate winnings.

I'm sorry, but this casino has to be one of the worst operations out there, of any software. MG should take a long, hard look at how in the hell these "operators" managed to even get by any vetting process that went on. It sure seems like there were (or maybe still are), cashflow problems. And this revolution they promised is actually pretty revolting if you ask me. Yet they claimed to have "tons of experience" in past operations.

Right out of the gate, issues of non-payment, claims of bonus abuse (no such thing BTW), a rep that signed up then went AWOL...and now if 1819's post is on the money....we have some high school type pranks. It's a joke...and if this is what MG is coming to, then all I can say is buyer beware, and stick to the tried and true.

I'm making the assumption that these new arrivals are possibly white labels.

If that's correct it's a potent illustration of how much reputational damage this type of operation can do to the software provider if not strictly policed.

I would have to agree with the opinion that the sort of conduct we're seeing here is waving "cashflow problem" red flags all over the place

Unfortunately, you will never be able to prove this to CRIMINAL law standards, but 0 to 30 overnight for a NEW email address is one HELL of a coincidence - spam levels tend to grow steadily, increasing with both the length of time the email address has been live, and the amount of exposure it gets over the internet. The alternate explanation would be that the email address was harvested by malware, and propagated through a spamming botnet, coincidentally on the same night as you sent your riposte to the casino support staff.

If they are, they are VERY good at hiding it. Go Wild seems to have the ability to manage casinos "in the Go Wild group", but this "group" currently has only the one member, Go Wild.

If these really are white labels, maybe they can be traced to their sponsoring group. As for "years of experience", this means nothing, this is what players heard when Hippo Jo launched, and looked like being a good RTG to play at.
Maybe the experience was not in the relevant field, as surely someone with experience of online gambling would have seen the dangers in the initial launch offer of 200% up to 600 credits, with VERY generous terms too.

fortunately the law and my justice are 2 different things.:) it was not the run of the mill spam. someone took the time to register me at ham of the month clubs, magazine subscriptions, florists, golf and tennis centers, etc... like i said i can take a joke but it is is the kind of things i would do between friends not these losers. now i'm off to see if i can get a deal on some beef from a butcher in new zealand!!

If these businesses themselves are legit, they may be able to provide some clues as to when, and where from, these bogus registrations took place. Many of these places have registration forms that simply cannot be misused by a bot, usually where you have to type in a random set of letters and numbers hidden in a AI unfriendly jumble of irrelevant patterns in order to finalise the registration. This would show that a human being registered your email address for these services, and this would have to have happened from an IP address, and you say it was not you, and was not from your PC.

This is a pretty serious set of circumstances, and if there is really no way anyone other than a member of CS who could have known this email address, then it suggests that your personal details have been handled outside of the privacy agreements. Even if this was some kind of "joke", it is wholly inappropriate for information gained from a player - casino relationship to have been allowed to pass from this arena, to a personal score-settling one.

I can report that the cashout has hit my bank account today (minus my deposit, which was returned to me earlier). Therefore I have been made whole financially.

My thanks go to Max, who has a very professional and courteous work attitude. It has been a pleasure exchanging emails with you, thanks for the effort you put into this.

Since the GoWild issues are being resolved I am going to update the title of this thread. Yes, GoWild has requested this, but I think it's only fair since they are addressing the outstanding issues. If anyone has information to the contrary please post it.

Whatever happened to Floyd, it's like he just totally disappeared here ? Is he refusing to take part in the board now as the Rep for Go Wild ?

Floyd is still around, in fact I heard from him via email a day or two ago.

What his current feelings about reading or posting on the forums might be I couldn't say.
