Am i just really unlucky or is this nature of this game.

I started playing this game and got first 3 freespins rounds in 200 spins and i also got garys bonus time all the time.
Then i advanced next level and im down 700e without single garys bonus time and i got my 4th feature after losing 500e.

still havent got to try sticky wilds because game just dont give me features anymore.

I feel really cheated right now

It's the nature of this game I'm afraid. The free spins are quite hard to hit from what I've experienced. That combined with the fact that the base game is absolutely horrible and you got yourself brutal losing streaks regularly.

After getting extremely lucky and hitting over 1000xbet hit on the sticky wilds feature I've been feeling the high variance. About ten deposits (all between 100 and 200xbet) during which I've gotten next to none play time and the amount of triggered free spins is somewhere between 5-10 with all wins under 100xbet. Most deposits with those kind of bankrolls have ended without a single free spin round triggered.

So yeah, just an extremely high variance game at the end of the day. If you want play time and more consistent triggers I'd go play something else like DOA

The game has no doubt been "chipped" for this, which might explain why it's so damn tight now

The "emptier" thread has gone quiet, no news of William Hill taking legal action, nor of the player voluntarily handing back the money already paid out.

This slot killed me too!

Will never play this again. It gives you the false hope that you are going to hit a bonus. Nada! So, this is off my list, Robin Hood, Immortal Romance, Steamtower, etc etc. Geez, I just realized that most of the games are off my list !!! They have all sucked for me. I have to say I had fun with Dracula, Thunderstruck II and Battlestar Gallectica -- but again no wins. At least I had fun playing them and at the end of the day this is strictly entertainment for me. The game rules announces RTP as

92.060% - 96.512%

It apparently varies depending on what stage of the jungle you are, which depends on the bananas eaten.

Even at the best stage, the RTP is just 96.5%.

If the different stages lasted about equal number of spins, the average RTP could be the average of extreme ends of RTP range.

(92.060+96.512)/2 = 94.286

If you are usually playing the usual 96% RTP slots, 94% RTP slot might feel pretty painful.

If that 94.286% is anywhere close to the actual RTP, then it is pretty low. For example Redbet has RTP lists both in Casino Red and Blue, there are just 3 slots with lower than that RTP in Casino Blue, and 5 slots with lower RTP in Casino Red, out of the hundreds of slots.

personally i would play it on minimum bets until you have at least unlocked the Stay Wild feature, as the first one with win spins its probably the most consistent but the lowest paying overall, i play it from time to time at 1 casino where i have unlocked all the bonus rounds and the bananas, you can still have horrible or great sessions on it at this point like any other slot.

I really wouldn't put it into the high variance category though, the 5oak pays aren't huge and the bonus rounds arent any harder than a regular slot to trigger. There is potential of course for 1000x wins in the bonus rounds particularly a stay wild with a re-trigger, but i would be looking more in the region of 100x - 200x as the more regular type good wins from it.

I've seen both sides of it, where iv quadrupled my starting balance in 30 mins, and bust out with no feature on another session it basically comes down to how many decent bonus rounds you can trigger, and if Gary's Bonus round if being kind and awarding the bonus round rather than his pot of gorilla shit .

I started playing this game about a week ago. And I absolutely love it.

I would agree with most of what Wild Reels said. And with some of the things suomikala said.

I don't think the variance is very high. I'd say it's somewhere between medium and high. That said, I won't bet any higher than min bet on this game.

The base game is pretty tight, particularly with the high paying 5OAKs (Wilds, Gorilla Coins, Monkey). Despite that though, I have made a £25
deposit last a good hour and a half at min bet without ever getting my balance above £50.

I don't buy into this claim that Gary's bonus time is awarded more frequently the further you "move on".

Gorillionaire Win Spins is a good enough feature to help keep you ticking over until you unlock the Daddy of all the features....Stay Wild.

I've had two Stay Wild features which got the extra 10 spins. One came in at over 300x bet. The other was for almost 1150x bet. My best 10 spin
Stay Wild round paid about 185x bet.

Not so keen on the multiplier feature, mainly because the multiplier can count for nada if you get 10 dead spins (which is very possible).

More wilds feature can be very good too. Because you can get as many as three extra wild symbols. There is the potential to hit a real monster
hit if you can get a K and gorilla coin as your extra wild(s), because they are beside the wild symbols on at least 3 of the 5 reels I think.

Personally though, the Stay Wild is going to get picked the most. Because that re-trigger can be absolutely golden.

I've only ever played 300 Shields and this game where NextGen is concerned. And Gorilla Go Wild IMO is far better than 300 Shields.

Not gone quiet - just heard nothing yet. They haven't even acknowledged the letter from our solicitor which is rude and there is no way in hell we are giving this money back.
Interesting though that it seems to be 'tight' as you say now which would lead me to think we weren't the only ones to have got a rude letter from William Hill with absolutely no standing. Although this does make you realise how much they can manipulate these games

but then after 7 rounds 2 bonus round generated 0.5€ and 2.5€ and the 8th garys time didnt even give me a selection of feature, it just splashed a gold pot and gave me 5€, at this time i wasn't using minimum bet anymore, i used 1.5€ and thought thank god now im saved, but it didnt allow me to choose anything and only handed over 5€ from an iron pot, what a great disappointment!

i threw a good 200€ on this slot, at first I thought it was great but then it seemed less great, but why such an innocent purple gorilla bonzi buddy,. i thought it was kind and gentle with low variation and high rtp,

then came the "rigged super low bonus payout round" again which seem to happen over and over again on all casino sites and with all slots!
some bonus rounds wont give more than 0.5€ which sucks and to think of that these bonus rounds happen so frequently with less than 300 coin 200 or even 127 makes me wonder why there is still hope for that big win?

hi hint as ive now played it for a while , i play at £3 or $3 a spin , found the same as you , but i now stick to the sticky wilds feature , yes you get awful rounds but just so often it churns something ok , im yet to see the 1000x bet , but i remain hopeful to see it , just go with your bank roll i tend to play a 100 spins to see if its playing if not i move on )

I'm playing this game now and this game can't be "emptied". It never goes back to it's original state. You just get progressively better RTP, same way you do with TSII , Immortal Romance etc. (from ~92% to ~96% according to paytable file) It's very high variance from what I can see. And Chimp seems to really get tight later in the game instead of giving away more bonuses. He also doesn't seem as hungry when it comes to those bananas lol So I guess it goes from 92% RTP and mild variance to 96% and high variance.

Now I know William Hill are totally clueless lol! I like the game though.

It's an OK slot. One of the few online machines that offer that great feature from older Aristocrats in the surprise bonus. I've had good and bad sessions on it. I like a good many Next Generation slots.
