I've NEVER see the potential first lady used as an attack dog. WOW talk about desparation at an all time high!

The thing that bothers me the most is that they talk about character when what she was implying was another lie. I checked in to the myself and knew it was a lie, but was shocked to see her stand up there and sprew her crap.

Cindy McCain got in on the attack action Wednesday while introducing her husband, Republican presidential nominee John McCain, at a rally here.

The mother of four, including two sons in the military, challenged Democrat Barack Obama to change shoes for a day. The day that Sen. Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body, she said

McCains charge is based on a single vote Obama cast as a senator. Factcheck.org called the claim misleading based on the fact that Obama voted in favor of troop funding on 10 different occasions. The only time he voted against it was a vote in which President Bush vetoed a version that included a date for withdrawal.

Cindy McCains son, Jimmy, was in Iraq earlier this year. Track Palin, the eldest son of vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, deployed to Iraq in September. McCain often mentions the hardship of being the mom of servicemen during her campaign trail stump speech.

I would suggest that Sen. Obama change shoes with me for just one day, and see what it means, and see what it means to have a loved one serving in the armed forces, and more importantly, serving in harms way, she told the crowd of roughly 7,000. I suggest he take a day and go watch our fine young men and women deploy, get on those busses and leave with a smile and a charge.

Sarah Palin, abused her power as governor

I wonder if she is going to talk about her being repimanded over abuse of power as Alaska governor or will she keep questoning Obama's 'integrity'. LOL

The report is almost certain to be a distraction for the McCain-Palin ticket as it tries to catch up with Barack Obama

An Alaska ethics report has concluded that John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, abused her power as governor when firing a state official, a development that could hinder the Republicans as the race for the White House narrows.

In the closely watched case, the Alaska governor was accused of pressuring the official to fire her former brother-in-law and then firing the official when he refused. Palin maintains the firing was over a budget dispute.

The 300-page report by the chief investigator to a bipartisan Alaska legislative panel that looked into the matter was likely to be fodder for Democratic attacks, especially in light of the fact that Palin has painted herself as a political maverick who will help McCain clean up Washington.
