I have played this game a lot but I have got to the point where it’s blatantly obvious this game has been changed. When I first played it the bonus rounds were very frequent. They never paid huge but I had several up and around x350. I also had quite a few occasions where I got the 20 spins (back to back once ) and a fair few retriggers. In the last 4 months the bonus rounds seem very hard to trigger, 500 spins without one on occasions and when it does finally arrive it hardly ever pays more than x50. A few of netents other games noticeably Jungle Spirit seem to have followed the same path. Anyone else feel the same way?

a couple of years ago it was one of my regular slots. most sessions id play doa, bdba, TS1, reel steal, IR and gonzo. now i only play it if i get deposit free spins on it >:<

so yeah it definitely feels different and i really cant remember when was the last time i had a nice bonus on it. and its not the only one, i used to play reel rush quite often now i dont dare to open it at all

I have always found this game hard to bonus, and while a lot are 50x or lower i have had several 400 - 800x bonuses.

As im a tin foil hatter, and dont believe slots are fully random, i now never play the same slot again after a big win as all my data collected I have never hit another big bonus after a big bonus without having put it all back first, but of course they are all "random" so there must be another reason that these patterns happen repeatedly........time and time again, game after game, site after site.....

I go one further and avoid the provider altogether after a big win on one of thier slots. Like you said time and time again I will win on say Playboy and then when I switch to anything MG it's eating it all back as if all thier slots are connected to the same servers and collecting your stats and dropping your RTP back down no matter what you play.

I hate how we are always told that the RTP is delivered through hundreds of millions of spins and there will be "Swings" in the RTP. Yet when we win big on a slot the first thing that happens is the RTP gets delivered after a few hundred spins.

Of course

I wouldn't go as far as saying each provider levels your % across the slots but each individual slot seems to have a reoccurring pattern if you track enough data. I agree with you that if your behind RTP for ages it get blamed on variance and small sample size yet if you have a massive win early inc some of over 2000x it gets back to RTP extremely fast in comparison, not just now and again but ALL the time.

Just to be clear im not talking about every game or provider but some providers are very suspect that's for sure.........

My last 2 bigger wins came on Playtech and Novomatic only to be eaten by PnG and BTG in the next sessions. Are they somehow connected too?;)

No of course not but that's fairly inevitable that scenario happening but now go back and play the same Playtech and novomatic games on the same site that you had the big win out of for example and see how you do on them next time.....

This is exactly my feelings about Gonzo too snorky.

It used to be my ‘go to’ wagering slot when I had a big amount to wager. You could almost guarantee a good bonus after a few hundred spins at the most.
These days it doesn’t behave like this at all. Bonuses are rare as can be and I’ve not hit a screenshot worth bonus for over 12 months.

@snorky510238 What do you think is the reason behind this not so strange or uncommon behaviour?
I personally am only making assumptions like everyone else but I don’t believe for a second that they are random. I feel they are compensated that’s why you get a site 1 day where you can’t fail and then day after day of the site being dead. Probably when a game is new there is a larger volume of money being wagered through it so payouts occur more frequently and are larger. As time moves on and players put games on the back burner less money goes through and the rtp gets tweaked a bit. Just a couple of % can make a huge difference to how a game plays and would probably still fall in the category of being legit.

It might have just been if your original post just said..."I think the Gonzo quest slot machine is compensated" if that's what you really meant.

How exactly do you think the compensation works? Per game? Per person? Per casino? Per region? Per stake? Per platform? All of the above?

I don’t know exactly I have to be honest. Like I say I make assumptions or guesses based on the evidence that they are not random in the sense we are led to believe. I probably have as many hours as anyone behind me when it comes to studying FOBTS and there is no doubt whatsoever that online follows the exact same pattern. The only exception being online does payout a much higher percentage. However the one trait they both have that is undeniable is that when they are on a cold day you can try everything and throw as much money as you like at them and you will NOT WIN. This is not conducive with being “random”.

I feel your pain mate ut for NetEnt in genral. They just seem to be playing and paying worse and worse and worse. Even my old favourites just seem to suck my blood till I am completely drained. And most games seem to play exactly the same way even though they used to be completely different games. No matter what the pay table looks like and whatever the rtp, they all seem to play the same. Time to give up on them or find a casino which still plays the the old honest and fair way....

I rarely touch netent now for that reason. I want to have a chance of hitting a decent bonus round especially given the wait that seems consistent with most games at the moment but with their games I just think they are so rare it’s not worth the risk.
