I signed up at Gold VIP, but could not claim the free chip they were offering at the time. I then tried links for help, etc. Incase nobody else has noticed, their links on their website are broken. That's a big red flag, daddy-o!

Gold VIP started out in the industry by recruiting spammers and Black Hat webmasters to promote their casino. I have a thread that points to a forum where the post still exists.

I don't trust them at all. Anyone looking for a quick buck MORE than an honest road is either not well funded or dishonest from the start. It's a recipe for lost winnings, IMO.

To be brutally honest, you'll never get them to stop spamming you...They're rogues. The off the wall ones are just a 'storefront'..the only links on those will be to download Gold VIP Club.

Seeing as how RTG is rogue in itself, unfortunately there's no place to report them...RTG could care less what their licensees do...hell, they don't even care if players get paid.

Same here. I can't remember the last time I received such a spam onslaught as what I'm getting from these Golden Gate Casino affiliates. I keep reporting this emails to my ISP's spam database, but the problem is that new senders keep popping up nearly every day.

If you do, make it a long one that can't be easily cracked by spambots. For example, no_spamm3r_c0u1d_po551bly_gu355_th15@hotmail.com

I have seen this onslaught over the last few months. They must have stepped up this campaign just before Christmas, and I am getting several each day, often with small variations in each.

    I have had enough

I have had enough of these spam emails!!! Has anyone come up with any way to stop them, pleeeez. The mails are coming through to my private address, which is a paid for address from my ISP and they only operate in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. So logic is telling me that one of the casino's that I actually play at is selling players addresses.

After having to actually go through the link and start downloading the software to see which casino was actually harassing me like this I spammed their support mailbox until I received this response:

We are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. However, if this is a
paid for address, you must have a spambox or an option to delete all mails
from a specific sender before they get to your inbox. Even free mail
    accounts have this feature.

Wake up and smell the roses Matthew Green - why must I go through the hassles of resetting my spam filters to accommodate your spamming affiliates - I rely on my mailbox for an income and also earn a living as an affiliate for various casino's and poker rooms!

I used to ignore them but a few days ago I decided enough was enough. I included these in my mail to them and have just been sending them as they come in.

Perhaps we could start a thread and list these spammers details for everyone to see as they are a liability to the industry. I will also keep spamming's support desk and perhaps their accounts & technical sections until they do something about it.

Now I am going to search for the Oliver Curran/Warren Cloud thread and vent a bit there because he is alive and well and trying his luck in South Africa!!!!

What I like to do is forward all spam messages to every email address I can find for the casino in question. I know if they're getting by my filters, then they have to be getting through theirs as well. ;)
