Something weird going on here Go Wild have about 20 of these tourneys happening today I've played half and am top of leaderboard on one (5 Lara Free Spins symbols during free spins) but on most of the others I barely made the Top 100 now I was checking the leaderboard on each tourney and rather strangely someone called Fritzbrause is No.1 or No.2 in them all now either he's paying out on extra coins (top prize) $20 hardly worth extra coins or he been lucky enough to have got a top score on all the tourneys which having played half is impossible most of the scores i got were in the 4000-8000.

If anyone has Go Wild download go into tourneys and have a look.

I saw this too and my thoughts are: If he pays 15,- for each tourney, he will be up in total ;)

Btw. thats why i hate the MG "freerolls"

I played a couple of them but once I saw this post I decided not to bother.

And maybe it's just me but it looks a little suspicious to have one person winning them all. At least their name doesn't have gowild in it!

LOL
You mean like GUNFS, who wins almost every daily freeroll at GNUF.

These players are either bots, or people with a serious ego problem, as they just HAVE to be no.1, no matter what its going to cost them.
They often spend many times the amount that can be won when finishing first, just to reach that top spot.

I tend to believe the first option, as I cant imagine that there are really human beeings willing to spend so much money on something as utterly boring and buggy as MG tournaments.

If you want to see some outrageously obvious free roll bots in action go look at any Vegas casino free rolls, with a starting balance of as low as $50 these guys cap at around 100k in under 10-15 minutes lol, the prime eg here is English Harbour Pound, before they changed the payout from £5 winner takes all to £5 plus 2-6 = £1 you got a fair tourney, now it`s nearly the same guy everyday who wins everything LOVEBOY1 (iirc) or anyone with a name spelled all in capitals , mind you I have noticed a slight change the past few days in basic play. ;).

Looks like about 33 consecutive free rolls he's taken first or second place.

Personally I don't play tournaments where the winner is just the person willing to buy the most chips. These tournaments are no more than a scam to get players to pay for about $10k in chips so they can hand out $100 in prizes.

MG casinos must seriously make a mint off of these tournaments and the prizes are peanuts. In my opinion anyone rebuying or continuing in these tournaments are just suckers for the casino.

Keep your rebuy money and play the real games. If you're going to pay 3 bucks a pop over and over to rebuy into a tournament that only pays 25 bucks if you're really lucky you're nuts.

I am still top on one of them;) no extra coins just the luck of the five lara symbols in the free spins

Good for you! I once got 5 scatters on loaded during 4x free spins, it's really exciting to see them all come up like that!

Well, it is therefore right for PLAYERS to take full advantage of system errors if the CASINO is going to.

MGS do not ALWAYS have "system errors" that favour the house:D

GoWild sometimes make promotional errors too. I remember one 70% up to £350 which was UNLIMITED. It was just a case of repeatedly depositing £500 for £350, and "playing loose" on the slots for a big hit.

After they paid me, I told them what they had done wrong in setting up this promotion.

All I got for my troubles was a bonus ban, and an extra 2Gig of free space on my hard drive:rolleyes:

If one player is prepared to win every tournement whatever the cost, then other players CANNOT compete and stand a chance of making an overall profit. This makes the tournaments less popular EXCEPT with the few prepared to buy their way to the top. MGS do not seem to understand this, and try to make more income by making the tournaments even WORSE an attraction for "recreational" players in an effort to make more money from those who will simply buy their way to the top.

The same player winning almost every tournament also gives the impression that he is somehow enjoying an advantage over everybody else, and that even if the rest WERE prepared to pay more, they still stand NO chance without the "cheat" being used by the players who keep winning all the time.

A native of west Texas, I spent most of my adult life in Asia and the Pacific, in one capacity or another in the armed services or the Defense Department. In the 1970's in Japan I was able to cobble together basic 8-bit computers that ran on very primitive code and used cassettes to load and unload the code for operating programs. In the 1980's I continued to work with "cutting edge" 8-bit technology and supervised or managed a number of work projects, including the very first certified "secure" LAN. In the 1990's I worked mainly in remote locations and assisted a number of diverse teams in implementing the latest available computing devices. Then I retired and returned to Texas. At the age of 60, I am now just beginning to learn the in's and out's of the internet. Most of the "internet" to which I previously had access was limited in nature. Now I find myself using the internet daily. Online casinos, online blackjack, and online tournaments are fascinating! I do not have enough time in the day to visit, test drive, or use all the diversions that are available, but I try.

I really enjoy this forum and will try to contribute as I learn more.
