Last minute entry.. Played way too much, should've quit ages ago and just be happy with the 7-15th place prize as I said. I already disliked this game, now I hate it even more.

@Itaghai In day 3 you submitted "last minute entry" as well, but you posted it at 0:39AM CET, so it's technically invalid as a replacement. (The rules list CET as times for comp so I assume this timezone is used to differentiate between days). This however, has no bearing on your placement, still came on top :p

I also went thru everyone's entries to tally the scores. While doing so I noticed some members were posting screenshots made on the start of the comp, several days later into the comp as their entries. This is technically not disallowed in rules but THIS is exactly what I was talking about in a previous comp you posted @Jelena_PragmaticPlay in which I tried to ask if it was allowed. So instead of us depositing every day and getting our daily two screenshots, I wanted to know if I was allowed to "collect" 14 best screenshots on Day 1, and then only post 2 per day. Some people did it in this very competition.

It doesn't really have any effect in the comp as a whole but it's good to be clear about these things.. Because my playstyle for this comp meant once I had 2 screenies per day I just stopped playing the game (and likely wasted the rest somewhere else).

I feel like I may have made a mistake while sleepy, so take this scoreboard with a grain of salt but here's what I got:

Itaghai 2846x (or 2890x, see above)
TheSchwad 2797x
Scatt3r 2433x
toslotornot 1579x
copperzzz 1456x
anddi32 1367x
chiya 913x
mellody 902x
sapit222 609x
sonict 448x
teckiwi 183x
springo 120x
bgallick 44x
quickwitted 40x

Thanks Jelena for hosting the comp in any case, looking forward to the next one. I would personally prefer if in the future, bonus bets were allowed. Not buys, just the extra bet. This game is extremely stale, is clearly aimed at bonus buyers, so it's very unfun to actually play. All the excitement is in the bonus and you might be waiting hours to get one.. if you get one. Also in some Pragmatic games it's actually possible to win in the base game, in this game it is literally 100% impossible. So without a bonus your balance just gets destroyed :/

I share the same opinion.
If at least some bombs would drop in the base game, it would make it fine because it would give some potential to the base game.

This game is extremely hard to get into a bonus, there were days that I was getting 1 bonus every 1200 spins.

Same. Plus, the extra bet is only 20% and not something ridiculous like 200% on ELK Games lmao. And if we're scoring based on multipliers then having it on technically lowers your multiplier score, not increases, so I don't see why you would exclude it :/.

A 20 eur win with 0.25 bet (bonus on), is 40x. Same win without bonus bet is 50x.

I think the extra bet was excluded because when you go to the replays it shows the win multiplier according to the total bet instead of the base bet.
But still, it was a question of doing a bit of math.

But that's how it should be, shouldn't it? It should show multiplier based on total bet, not base bet. In fact I think that's how some comps have done it in the past, not sure if Jelena hosted them tho.

In my eyes, a bonus buy for 20 eur, that pays 20 eur, is 1x. Yes the base bet is 0.20 but you didn't pay 20 cents to get that win now did you..

Debating about the net multipliers on bonus buys isn't gonna end well tho so let's not get even started. But for sake of the comp, in my opinion, bonus bet should be allowed and the multiplier should be derived from your actual bet.

This was a rough slot for the comp. I agree with the posts above that it is terrible for base game play and not allowed to use the double chance bet made it even worse! I attempted to get one last win, but nothing good happened.

Overall, I didn't lose too much on the slot for the comp so it is a "win" for me, LOL

I've only recognized this comp at a very late time. What happens to the prizes on the leaderboard if they are left unclaimed like if there's no 15th place winner?

My takeaway from the fantastic competition is; its a little tedious playing only one game, but we got to a true flavour of what it's like, this was probably the closest leader board so far, no one ran away with it, and everyone 'suffering' the same fate being unable to improve their score.

And whilst I probably won't play the game again for 'fun', I prefer the original, I may use it for wagering if I ever get a big balance in bonus funds.

Well, this promotion was a bit different kind of competition what we've seen before.
Based on the discussions, the biggest disturbing factor seems to be the volatility of the game, which is admittedly at the hard core-level.

I myself had one four-digit streak without any bonus, and the basic game does not distribute any reasonable hits, so it is practically impossible to get a comfortable daily result without bonus feature.
And even though it is difficult to get a bonus, I still felt that the vast majority of the bonuses did not pay anything reasonable.

Maybe the hard core volatility can also be seen in the results list, I guess the biggest hit in the whole race was about 600x. It's a good thing that the race remained fairly even, one 1000x for someone could have changed the lists significantly.

Another good thing in this promotion was the length of the race, I think a week is a good time. Two weeks maybe a bit too long for my taste. And the longer the race lasts, the bigger the differences usually grow, so there isn't necessarily much to compete at the end of the race.

In these competitions, the only limit is imagination as to how the race will be organized. Everyone probably has their own opinions, for me the whole catalog-way is probably the most preferred option. Why not also limit the selection, but in such a way that the player has more games to choose from.

But any way, thanks again for the competition, in the end it's really fun to compete in these, no matter the format.

Omg if this lasted 2 weeks ?
1 week was def long enough.
Unlike others I think it was fine to have a competition without extra bet and bonus buys. Really made this a different comp than the usual, scores were all closer together making this more of a battle. I wouldn't want this to be the standard though, but for this one time I def liked it.

It would be interesting to know how much each entrant spent chasing the prize they will receive. Looking at some of the messages, a few would have spent a lot more than they will receive.

Also it would be nice to see the occasional comp which doesn’t rely on the participants gambling every single day (like the very first comp posted…that I happened to win…), but I fully understand why this approach is taken ?.

All in all, thanks to @Jelena_PragmaticPlay for offering up these comps!

I probably lost a little more than 100 euros myself. The first three days went plus or minus zero thanks to the OK hits on the second day. The rest of the time just downhill and I didn't play the last day at all due to the scoreboard where my own goal (places 4-7) was pretty well secured. I was ready to play if the situation had changed during the last day but now that money was saved. :D

Of course, during the promotion, there is always the chance to hit big and the player's balance remains positive just from the wager alone. But this time it didn't happen, at least in my case

Its difficult to know for me, played other games and a few sites during this time. I estimate about even, a £20 deposit on MrQ lasted the whole competition though, thanks to the 600x hit and withdrew £75 from there last night.

I know it wasn't the same for others but found my balances held quite well throughout.

I was down 550 euros or so, at day 5 I believe it was. Lost the motivation to keep track after that but can safely say it didn't improve.

Not bitter, I knew perfectly well how this was likely to play out already before entering the contest. I even predicted my final score after having played just one session. There was always a faint hope that the game was going to prove me wrong, especially with the relatively high spin count I reached but no, it never even felt like it tried to.

I didn't play it to chase the prize money, I played it because I really like these competitions and I was determined to win another one. Not at any cost, but not far from it ?
