Getting a bit nervous about Paradise8

Dormant account
As noted by others in earlier thread there are problems with their e-mail. Accounts is undeliverable. Support and General send back an automated response that has no text, just a graphic at the top of the screen.

I've e-mailed CocoaBob privately and will await a response until posting all details but it seems that customer support's ability to track the wagering requirement is suspect. I'm way undereported, but the same "chat" person also told me I could see my wagering activity on the site, but then backed off when I asked for instructions.

Slots are cool but I'm getting worried about owner/operator's credibility.

Is there something besides the cool slots that is driving people to give them money?

There is hardly anything on the site that gives me confidence it's a legitimate operation (they may well be legit, but there are none of the usual signs here).

Now that is a great question Soflat!!! I'm not saying they're not legit, but we know absolutely zero about them, besides the fact they've been having MAJOR technical issues. Just some of the stuff I've read about people's computers freezing up, etc. has been enough to keep me away for now. Haven't even attempted a download. I think I'll hang tight til we get some more feedback.

IMO based on the domain registration info for
domain: rivalpowered.com
created: 21-Jan-2006
last-changed: 29-Mar-2006
registration-expiration: 21-Jan-2007

12 months is this a joke or what

No address, no phone only a email addy that probably points back to some other domain anyways.

Both casino and software provider use hidden domain identity services.

I'd be contacting the Curacao Gaming Authority; I always thought it was C.I.G.A. Curacao Internet Gaming Association. Never heard of the CGA.

Save your dough imo until these guys are given the once over.

 my thoughts exactly. Apart from the center piece of the casino home page, the rest looks slapped together in a hurry. Everything looks amateurish. By the feedback the software is decidely worse.

Exactly.....They can't be trusted as yet

Stay tuned for part 2 of the saga. Survived the WR. Netteller withdrawal may take 48 hours (although I hope not).

As for why I'd take a "gamble" on this site. Guess the word "gamble" explains it - they are currently giving something like 1 comp point for every 80 cents wagered - 1000 points = 1 real dollar. The Reel Drama slot is fun and is easy on the bankroll. Deuces Wild has a better than average pay table. Finally, sometimes the new guy needs a break to get in the business and I'm willing to risk the $25 for entertainment.

Back when the deposit clears.

Hello Kirby,

Regarding the empty auto replies, this has been sent to the manager to fix. Thank you for informing us about the broken email links (accounts). This has been sent to the operator's webmaster.

As for your wagering, as I explained in my PM to you, you did not meet sufficient wagering requirements for the promotion and had a small amount left to wager. You had been using your comps to track the wagering, however that is difficult to do when the casino offers more comps based on what games you play. The customer service staff did mistakingly
say you could check your wagering in the cashier, which is true but only to the effect of seeing whether or not you have met the promotion terms and conditions for cashing out. The number customer service gave you was the amount remaining, which is why it was so small. I believe the support staff may have made a small mistake there.

As for your question as to when will more scenes be available for our iSlots - the simplest answer is keep checking the games to find out! :)

Cheers,

Rob

p.s. The manager has asked me to tell you to check your Neteller account. :)

Just curious, why isn't the manager on board here as well to directly answer players questions? Seems it would be a heck of alot easier to have a few items resolved instead of someone acting as a middleman.

May I also ask why, with so many bugs in the software and so many problems with the website and so forth, the software wasn't tested more thoroughly and/or placed as a beta test before going live, as well as the website/email system checked out more thoroughly as well.

An online casino is a big business to be in, and I just think that more care should have been taken in setting things up before opening instead of just jumping the gun before things were perfect.

IMO a beta test of the software would have aleviated alot of the concerns that players now have instead of going live at 90% instead of 100% :)

Just my 2c.

The fact that paradise8 has a representative here who evidently spends quite some time each day replying does deserve credit. However the poor website and the many bugs in the software do get across an idea of a operation that might be shady. When they haven't even hired a professional to setup a proper website i wonder how they going to be up to the snuff. With casinos likes 32red,intercasino,vip casino, global player, harrods etc. its hardly to see how they will prosper in this business.

Give 'em a little time - hard to judge an operation entirely by its early efforts - as I recall the software of some of the other outfits you mentioned when they started were far worse, and so were the websites.

That being said, opening your marketing efforts by cruising ezboards doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence either.

Agreed

I have tried 3 different ways to contact Rob myself no response, the software is to advanced for me to think it is a scam, I think they just have major bugs to work out. I also think that if they want to be taken serious there needs to be some answers to the questions posted in the other thread.

Just my .02 here.

I was able to load the software and install without difficulty.

Deposited $50 and got $88 bonus per the offer. WR was 20x, or $2760.

Wagered it (some VP, some I-slots which are an improvement over the usual slots from an entertainment perspective) and ended up a bit.

To verify if you have completed the wagering requirement, you can check it by clicking the "Now Playing" link in the Cashier. It brings up the T&C for the bonus you are currently playing, and at the bottom tells you if you've cleared the WR or not. It doesn't tell you how much more is required though.

Cashed out my initial deposit of $50 on Tuesday and was paid by Neteller Wednesday afternoon.

Overall: A bit rough around the edges, but I never felt lost or like I was being worked. I hope they succeed.

I'll give them a try. Though $2760 wagering requirement for 88$ bonus is a heck of a lot for a bonus whore like me:cool:

At the end of the day am hoping for the big win.....

I thought I'd give it a ride even though I couldn't find anything out about them.

Busted fairly quickly losing 11 out of 14 doubles in BJ. This does seem outside the norm, but not much else to report.

Hi, I was able to download the paradise 8 casino succesfully, but when I try to download games like video poker it just freezes up. I'm running XP and have a dial-up connection (netscape isp). Does anyone have any suggestions ?

The games take a while to install so with dial up i guess you gonna have to wait for long.
