A pretty decent percent of populations still believe mainstream media. Even though here in Canada its all liberal owned or at least liberal/government funded.
The USA media is mostly owned by democrat politicians or democrat elites. This is not a conspiracy theory it has been absolutely proven.
I ran into a guy at my work a few weeks ago and he is a very smart, friendly bright guy. We got into a brief conversation about politics and how Trudeau is ruining the country. His next comment wasnt surprising but proved to me the media still has swayed people.
He told me that at least we do not have Trump because he is a Russian agent in the form of another Hitler.
I did not argue with him because it would open up a can of worms that i didnt have time to get into. I just said oh yeah and walked away and thought wow the media really does form peoples opinions.
There was a thorough investigation done that proved Trump had nothing to do with Russia a few years ago. This guy still believes it to be true because how hard the media pushed it onto the public.
The Hitler narrative was pushed on CNN, ABC and MSNBC for the last 4 months prior to the election.
My mother in law 100% absolutely believes Trump is a racist Hitler. Any time I go into her house she is watching either CBC or CNN or CTV news. She said to me "how can you like Trump, he wants to put all the blacks in camps and jail all the democrats".
Im like huh, no he doesnt but ok whatever. Do you have any butter I can borrow and left lol.
A good portion of the population doesnt know the media are liars to sway the publics general opinion. they do not know alot of these news agencies have chopped up and edited certain clips to sound a certain way. They got caught, called out and apologized. This is how bad the mainstream is now.
Jeff Zucker from CNN used to have daily meetings with his producers and gave them the daily narrative for their anchors to push. Its recorded.
