Gambling, in general... I'm fed up!

I live in the Pittsburgh area (Go Steelers!) and have come to realize a few things about gambling, as a whole... the people "running the show(s)" care very little about the clients that keep the industry alive. I have a recent experience with Rome Casino & Diceland Casino. I have deposited close to $4000 in about a 30 day period and the payout percentage of the games (based on my game history) is about 60%. Naturally I was angry, did some research online and found the personal contact information of the owner of the two sites, who was very friendly and attentive to my needs, and credited my account with a $1000 additional bonus. I told him that bonus amounts are useless if the games are predetermined to lose at a high rate. For the record, Rome Casino or Diceland Casinos are both extremely tight, take it from somebody who lost BIG at both sites. Until they loosen up, I would not reccommend either site. If you play at either of these sites, you're basically supporting the playboy habits of a little hottie (and he is a hottie) named Josh. Not Kosher, not right. Josh, you need to do something about the low payout percentages of your sites, bro... the way they sit now is a total disgrace.

It will be interesting to see if the US Government allows passage and legalization of online gaming here in the US. Each state has its minimum payout percentage, here in PA the minimum payout percentage is 85% for all games. And with respect to bonuses, its not just for online casinos anymore. The new Rivers Casino here in Pittsburgh is crediting its club members (anyone can join) with a cash bonus to play slots, etc. It gives club members $50 to $150 per week, perhaps more based on the amount a player has spent at the casino in the prior week time period. My experience with the online side of the gaming industry has been horrible. I have spent a lot - thousands. I used to work in a Native American Casino outside San Diego. The land based side is better, but not by much.

I'm fed up with the industry. I find it funny how the owners of these sites have the nerve of complaining about chargebacks, calling those players "cheaters", when the fact of the matter if their sites adopted a true "fair gaming" mission, "chargebacks" would rarely happen. In my opinion, cheating happens more on the part of the casino to the player than the other way around.

    Thoughts?

Top Game has had many ways of cheating the players. Such as removing wilds from jackpot games, thus making jackpots unwinable. Plus making the player have to wager max monies to win an unwinable jackpot. Who the heck would spend $45 to $65 a spin to lose?????
But you will find many complaint threads here and it is not just a Rome thing, it's a TG thing as I believe changes come from the top.
I was an avid fan of TG for awhile, but finally came to my senses and dumped this platform for good.

    Top Game

If I am not mistaken, Top Game is a satan's spawn from Parlay Gaming. There is no doubt that there is cheating going on within the Top Game sites. I worked in a land based casino and know for a FACT that if you walk into the casino with several thousand dollars, you will either hit something, OR your bankroll will last for HOURS. I have contacted Dave Stoller at Top Game and his response was "only the specific site can refund money, correct problems". As for Rome Casino and Diceland Casino, they give you bonuses yes. But if their games are set so tight, there is no point to even playing, regardless of the bonus or bankroll amount. Every time I lose big, one of the Managers at Rome/Diceland Casino says that "somebody just hit big yesterday, etc". His response is A L W A Y S the same - ALWAYS. Bottom line is avoid these two casinos. Regardless of their "TST Accrediation", which I can only imagine is as a farse as the sites themselves - there is no foundation of trust with these sites. Again, I spoke with the owner personally on the phone a few weeks ago. Very nice, credited my account with an additional $1000 bonus... but we come back to the tightness of the games. He could have added $30,000 and it wouldn't have mattered. All of my deposits were through Quicktender. I was considering talking to Quicktender about the fact that they need to drop these Top Game sites from using their service. These sites forget that they are tied to the terms and conditions of Master Card, Visa, etc. If their sites tout great payouts, etc and the player does nothing but lose, there is a legitimate reason to dispute charges.

That 60% payout does not necessarily reflect the casinos overall RTP. It may happen to be your current percentage due to dare I say it, "an unlucky streak"?

Just because you deposited a certain amount over a certain period, does not give you any guarantees to expect a certain percentage back.

That is my theory how it should be, however I would not play at any Top Game casino for a whole host of reasons. For me their casinos are similar to booking a hotel, only to find it is not the same as the brochure because the builders are still there.

Top Game software as far as I am concerned is still unproven, and may as well be a Beta version. So any results at these places would not surprise me.
Stick to the big guns and you can't go far wrong.

    Bumblings, Blunders and Negligence
The "Bumblings, Blunders and Negligence" section is reserved for casinos that either screw-up something fierce or are negligent by failing to protect their players from software bugs, stolen data-bases, or commit other acts of serious stupidity. In the military it's called "dereliction of duty" and is punishable by fines or imprisonment or both. This is the list:

Your quite right Rockycatt, hence why I would never play Top Game.

My RTP comments were certainly not a defence for Top Game, they were general comments which applys to all the software brands.

As the OP seemed to be under the illusion that gambling is some form of investment banking, where an exact return is guarenteed.

Games can be affected in so many ways, they can set RTP even for bet size.
How can you trust in fairness of the games, when they can be so easily manipulated.

    I hope you don't mind if I reply;
All accredited RTG casinos are OK - i.e. they will pay any cash-outs without (too much) hassle.
The only thing you have to decide if you're a slots player, is are you happy playing, let's say PayDirt for example, not knowing whether it is set to a 97.5% return or 95% or 91%...

That's my bottom line. If it's actually rogued here, I won't ever deposit, essentially. If it's not accredited, I will deposit, but don't expect to get paid in a timely fashion or without jumping through many onerous hoops. Thus, only accredited CM casinos get the lion's share of my gambling deposits.

With help from Casinomeister deciding on where to play is a luxury.
Ultimately who gets your money is your decision. But make a good choice because this hobby could be the biggest purchase you ever have to make.

It always amazes me how quickly some people make rash decisions when deciding where to deposit, without doing any market research. Its a bit like buying a house without bothering to do any surveys on the property.

The same people in any other aspect of live are probably very careful with their money, the kind of people who will use comparrison websites, the kind of people who will rant and rage because they were over charged down the shops by a few pennys. Yet when it comes to depositing money at a casino, all common sense goes out of the window.

Even non members of this site, should be researching where they are going to play first. The same people who know how to research information to take to their doctor, the same people who research job sites, legal issues and all sorts of things. Yet when it comes to depositing money at a casino, all common sense goes out of the window.

Knowledge required: The ability to be able to turn on a computer, the ability to know how to use Google. You do not need knowledge on Martin Fishbeins theory of reasoned action. It should come natural!

Even though I agree, I'm sure some peeps simple don't know how to search for information.

If I'm looking for background on say XYZ casino then my first entry into google is like this:

XYZ casino "rogue" (including "" in your search string)

Another suggestion would be XYZ casino "non payment".

By doing this your eliminating thousands of listing about XYZ casino and telling Google to focus on XYZ casino BUT only display listings that contain what is in the "".

Using these type of examples when search for information about a casino before you sign-up or deposit is paramount. I'm sure it would cut the number of PAB in 1/2. And it also prevents you getting shafted at online gambling venues - casinos or otherwise.

In addition FFS check out the http://www.casinomeister.com/rogue/index.php

However if after knowing all this and you still decided to gamble at an iffy online gambling venue, then you've only got yourself to blame.

    Cheers

    :)

Before Casinomeister, I would not have known to google "rogue". If you google best casinos, you find many places I don't consider best.

Even if you google complaints, you often don't find relevant results.

And if you google anything with casino, the SEO whores lead the pack often.

But for people already members on this board, they should know how to research, or just to post a "Anyone know anything thread?"

I recently joined Party Casino. Not accredited here. But not rogued, and not to be confused with the rogue Party City Casino. I asked here for input. And I had searched for complaints etc before even asking.

I joined 3Dice before they were accredited here. Based on feedback in the forum.

I think CM and it's large membership gives the most balanced casino perspective online, and I'm proud to be part of that community.

Actually, Party Casino is listed in the Dungeon of Evil as being the rebranded iGlobalmedia Starluck Casino. There is a thread about Starluck here:

First check the accredit and rogue list. And then if you still want to play, you can play. I like Rome and Diceland, hate Rich Casino. So it depends on the casino, too. Not just software.
