No other new thread about it i think.

I tested online slots a few times 5-6 years ago, but no luck...
Went to a land based casino for the first time around 5 years ago & got a nice winning there. :D
I bet around $3 + $3 on a dice game & won around $650.
Was a great feeling!
Shortly after that they changed the game...
So started playing on slots instead, both on the land based casino & online.
Got a few nice winnings on that also.

Still hoping for the "big1" though!

I started gambling online 2 years ago after my brother won £8k on video poker, the previous year I had a fantastic run playing video poker where I hit 3 progressive jackpots so I thought I'd try my luck online.

Have yet to win over £1500 in one session at any online casino, it's the national lottery jackpot I'm aiming for LOL

I started about four and a half years ago having read a few posts from a keen online gamer over at a set of UK AWP forums. (Bear in mind I've been a UK AWP player for over twenty years, and for the last decade or so, a somewhat successful one, so I figured I'd be able to do well on online slots too :))

So I jumped in with both feet, having no idea whatsoever about how RTPs or variance worked, about matching your stakes to your bankroll, and so on.

A couple of early 'highlights' were losing £500 in about 30 minutes at Kerching playing a Monopoly slot at £4.50 per spin (that was 5 x £100 deposits, and triggered a call from my bank's fraud department the next day), and a absolute headfuck of a session at 32Red where I lost £1000 (!) in an evening whilst Mrs Chopley was out and Chopley Jnr was in bed. I finished off playing some single line slot at £3 per spin and watched every last penny of a £1000 deposit disappear.

To say that I had trouble sleeping that night would be a serious understatement.....

After about £3500 of losses across various casinos and softwares, I actually did a little bit of research and realised where I was going wrong (playing stakes far too big relative to my bankroll and/or hitting high variance slots and not understanding that RTP takes thousands of spins to make itself felt on random slots) and thereafter I did a lot better.

I do also remember a very good early win at Jackpot City on Summertime (the Thunderstruck clone) where I hit 5 scatters in free spins, which was my first win over 1000x stake (IIRC it was around £1100 from a 90p spin for the entire round).

My early horrible experiences with online slotting are part of the reason I still get so hung up on RTPs and variance and the opaque nature of online gambling in general, because an uneducated player can very easily lose large quantities of cash in a very short space of time.

Started 4-5 months ago through watching Chop's videos from another forum, he mentioned this place a few times so I gave it a bash. Up over £2000 the past month because of the advice he gave in his weekly videos. Such a shame they stopped, I still check the youtube page daily to see if it ever comes back online :)

Thanks Chop

my online gambling history

well i started to gambling in 2007, (only in a land based casino) named casino estoril, i liked, but like it wasnt very close to my home it was dificult to get there many times.

in 2008, i decided to search if was some online casinos....., i saw yes, played online by the 1st time, i searched on the net by "online casinos", (thinking in that time that all the online casinos was good but different slots only)
1st i found a site that has forwarerd me to ladbrokes, made 1 deposite and lost, then i found another site latest....bo....., where i saw a big number of no deposite casinos with lots of free chips, (i registered in most of them).....

i claim some free chips, made some deposites, thinking that 15 days to get paid was good in many of them.....
1 time i won on cool cat, i didn´t get paid, so i was more until the middle of 2009 without play online, where i search for secure online casinos and i found everest and casino titan, i play there until the middle of 2010, when i got a problem on casino titan, and searching in the net how to solve the problem i found casino meister, i decided to join, problem was solved with the help of some members and maxd

i made a look on the acredited casinos, times for payments etc..., i stayed surprised, that the max time was allways from 0 up to 72 hours, never more than that, but it wasnt any rival casino, so someone of here sent me a PM with a list of good rival casinos, and when a casino it was listed here as acredited i joined from here, when it wasnt i joined from that site began with "k" lol.

conclusion:
i saw that i was playing in most of the cases at wrong online casinos until find this site. and created accounts in the casinos where i play until today without problems....
learned a lot of how to bet, get helped, began to help too, and began to promote, since the beggining of this year.

2 years back, some buddies and I planned to have a casino night- but we got a wicked snow storm.

Due to the fact the closest casino was a good hour away, and the huge amount of snow- we opted to cancel..

I really had the itch to try online anyway- so this was the perfect opportunity..
I made a cool $1200 playing TSII after about an hour session playing $1.20 / spin.

Never forget that first rush.. still chasing it... The rest is history.

wait a minute-- am I an addict?

Back in '98 or '99 (I don't remember exactly) I was a member at a "freebie hunters" forum. Back before the dot-com bubble there was a lot of "freebies" online and various websites were giving stuff for free. I was a poor college kid (lol) and interested in free stuff.

Anyways, I found in that forum a whole bunch of casinos that were giving $15 in free money just to open an account (those were new casinos by MG, the first ones). Back then there was no wagering requirements, no verification, no max cashout, nothing. It was really just free $15's and people were just opening accounts and cashing out the free money. Not me though, I was a gambler already, so I played and won a couple of hundreds.

Got paid, got interested in online gaming, found another freebie at intercasino, won a ~$2000 jackpot and the rest is history.
