Is the welcome bonus phantom or withdrawable?

This is what I learned from live chat support:

Tom M: Welcome to Gala Casino Live Chat function, you are speaking with Tom M. How can I be of assistance?
me: I would like to ask you, is the welcome bonus cashable after the wagering requirements are met or is it only for playing purposes?
Tom M: It is redeemable as cash as soon as the wagering is completed. (highlighted by me)
me: OK, that is great! And the terms and conditions say that wagering on "red or black" is not permitted on roulette while playing with the bonus. I would just like to check - isn't this a typing error? Shouldn't there be "red AND black"?
Tom M: No it does mean red or black I'm afraid. It doesn't necessarily mean you cannot wager on red or black just that you cannot employ it as a strategy i.e constantly reoccurring bets
me: It is kind of vague... Everyone who plays roulette has some type of "strategy" :). But I have confidence that everything will be normal since your casino is seeking accreditation with Casinomeister - that is what brought me here :).
me: So just to be sure - you are saying that even chances can be played on roulette, that there should be no problem with that.
Tom M: Yes within reason.
me: I don't mean to bother you excessively but I am unclear about what you mean by "constantly reoccurring bets" and by "within reason" .

Lost in a NY Minute

Just joined and lost it all in what seemed like a second.

Couldn't find the bonus code and too impatient to talk with support. Also couldn't find your name on where they ask where you found out about the casino. Maybe because I didn't click on the link from your accredited casinos list? Anyway, casinomeister is not listed, just newspapers....but again am too impatient to look too hard.

Also, since I live in Germany, there are only a few casinos that I can play.

I played at Coral, not Gala.

I tried out Coral not Gala. Tried Coral twice and won nothing. Will try Gala and then quit wasting money!!!

Although Buzzluck could not be maintained the team did a great job right till the finish and you guys can hold your heads up high. Playtech isnt for me but I am certain you will do a good job.:thumbsup:

I won at Gala....with...get this...a bonus. I put 100 bucks in and got a 100 dollar match. Knew I would have to play and win until hel* froze over to even think about cashing out, but just went in to see if I could cash anything out when I was at 1000 and....believe it or not...I actually cashed something out.

Have had no luck with the casinos where there's King Kong and Pink Panther. Tried Europa Casino in the beginning before I found Casinomeister and lost like crazy...and they never allowed me to play with my bonus points ...or whatever those things are you convert to cash. Tried Betfred, Bet365, all of those in that genre and lost, lost and lost. My favorite casino has always been 32Red because I have always won there. Lost, too. Probably more than I've won, but still have the feelilng I'm winning there because I get to cash out every once in a while.

But, here's the hitch, not sure if I can even cash out because they still haven't asked for any paperwork. Have only had seamless customer service at 32Red. Hope that is the case with Gala, too. We'll see.

If you won at those slots maybe you will do even better if they came out with Doctor Dolittle.:D. I place great faith in Alexbuzz and as he is involved legit winnings are likely to be paid.

Granted, I am very naive and don't do my research into casinos. I do it for fun and am thankful for casinomeister so I can quickly read when I'm throwing money in the wind. However, I believe in second chances, just because those casinos have King Kong and Pink Panther. (also recommended by casinomeister...so you know.)

I never bank on making a load of dough in a casino. It's gambling. However, I always think I will. So , I am a nutbag gambling addict who does no research. But the question is, does it help? Doing research I mean. You're lucky or you're not. You like to throw money away or you don't?

I thought 32Red was the be all and end all after reading the comments here. I have lost loads of money there, and as I mentioned before, only won at 32Red. Sooo...who knows?

Not sure who has won at progressive games, but I never have, even though I play max. I have only won at normal games.

Anyway, like to chat with fellow gambleaholics.

Now look what this Gala casino did to me. Some 3 weeks ago I opened an account with them.
I also claimed a welcome bonus of 100 on my 100 deposit. I played a bit and raised
my balance from 200 to 390. Then I stopped playing. The next day I got an email from
the casino informing me that I must provide the documents. And until I do that- my account
will be restricted for withdrawals. And my account was still open after that email.
However in a couple of days they closed my account. Now here is a problem. The bonus
they credited have only 2 weeks time frame to be played otherwise the bonus and any winnings will be removed.
When I found out all this it took me a couple of days to find and scan all the necessary documents
(and they asked not one but 2 utility bills and a pasport copy). I sent the docs. It took 3 days to get
a reply from them- documents accepted- account open. I tried to login- account still closed.
Another email sent and one more day passed. So finally I log in to my account and guess what? Only 100
in my balance! 100 bonus and 190 winnings- all removed because I did not play it in time (2 weeks)
But how on earth could I play that bonus if my account was closed for 12 days? Now this is a casino reply:

Thank you for your message.

Please be advised that once any bonus has been triggered to an account, we are unable to extend the time frame
that the wagering requirements are to be met by. As stated in the Terms and Conditions of the Welcome bonus
"The bonus shall expire within 14 days after acceptance of the bonus. If wagering has not been completed by then,
the entire bonus balance (bonus + winnings) shall be removed."


And they count in 14 days the days that my account was locked and unaccessible. How can that be? And what was
the need to lock my account? They could just prevent me from withdrawals until they got the documents. But
they locked an account with bonus and winnings inside and still kept applying bonus time frame for my account!

Please help, because I feel cheated.
