Hey folks was watching a thread over the past few days about the OP saying his only income is from online casinos, now whether this is true or not could this be actually possible?
I suppose if you won big the first few times and I mean big as in the hundreds of thousands then yes, but from what I seen its small deposits with small cashouts. I can't see this working long time,
Only way I could see this working is if he was an affiliate living of his customers and that is more accurate when you look at streamers like chipmunks and the bandit whose full time jobs are gaming.

Any useful comments would be good.

The bandits full time job isn't gaming.

He does a lot Of matched betting, sports bets, trading bets etc.

I'd be very dubious as to wether or not someone could make a living off slots. Where did the guy go that claimed he had a system For wild lines on doa? He posted enough of them in the screenshot section a year or so ago, I think he was just extremely lucky, then the luck ran out.

This is what the original thread is about, some guy playing on his luck, which will eventually run out.

In one of his videos he does state that when people ask him how he earns his living he tells them "I gamble for a living" and football betting is practicly the same as online slots as nothing is guaranteed.

Timetravel could work, like in Back to the Future, bets in events you know the outcome :D
Of course in most other firms it didn't end well, like 11.22.63.

Maybe go back in time and not gamble back a huge win?

Seriously now, you can only win if you stop gambling. Unless we are talking about professional poker (because there is skill involved).

@dunover is it possible to earn a good wage from affiliate earnings? Surely if you purely use them alone its too risky as it wouldn't be a set amount you could rely on.

There are online casino partners (affiliates) who manage to earn more than many casinos earn out there!

But it is my presumption that those guys got on the gravy train at the right time and starting off today as an affiliate would be a very different matter?

Back in the day I had a mate who started to dabble with buying and selling online in ebay in between his normal working hours. He very quickly began earning much more online than he did from his well paid job so he started selling full time. He would go to Croydon Auction houses and such and buy boxes containing mystery items for £10 and often find £100's or even £1000's worth of goods inside. He was a Mechanic so he also took advantage of those selling goods he could repair then sell on for a big profit.
But time moves on.
My guess is to wait until the next big money making idea comes about and to get in early there as the affiliate ship has sailed?
But I'm happy to be wrong

It is possible, but you have to put the work in. As said above those that got into the game early in the wild west days would have done best as they have built up thousands of players with their lifetime revenue shares. You have tens or hundreds of accounts in some cases and each month a good proportion may earn you zilch with either low activity, poor player retention or winning players removing any overall profit. The average player lifetime at any given casino is about 3 months so recruiting new players is essential to replace them. Some older affiliates can earn 40-50k a month out of just one programme, but those are the giants, the exceptions.

Nowadays with higher regulation, bonus hunting and increased competition I wouldn't advise anybody to try it with the intention of living off it unless you're prepared to invest a huge amount of time and likely money to provide good and authoritative content and a specific USP for your enterprise. It's much harder than it was and if you're UK-facing or gain a significant proportion of your revenues from the UK market I'd prepare for a big shock over the coming summer. Many programmes have forbidden a good source of advertising which I never used but some did, i.e. Social Media and even e-mail marketing.

There was an interesting article in one of the magazines I picked up at ICE a couple of months ago which actually stated the odds against becoming an affiliate nowadays and earning enough to live off, and the timescales (GPWA times or iGamingAfilliate magazine, I can't remember) and the odds aren't good.

It's true you cannot rely on any amounts, I have seen big fluctuations monthly from (compared to old PAYE job) eye-watering amounts down to mediocre so if you're wise you save the good months, save for your taxes etc.

Now you also have the frequent spectacle of affiliate programmes randomly closing at a few weeks notice and just like that you've lost a reliable revenue stream.

It isn't for the faint-hearted any more...

I believe Bandit’s primary income is from sports betting, which yes it’s gambling but it’s calculated maths gambling.

I love the Bandits videos, feel his joy, pain and frustration every time I watch one, I also believe is one of if not the most transparent about the business side of it all.
