Question Freespins got "deleted"

    Hello everyone, this is my first thread here as i mostly read others posts, if it's in the wrong section then i apologize.
    My question is a little tricky matter but the backstory goes like this.
    Was playing agent jane blonde at bitstarz casino and got the freespins at 0.90€ bet
    Next thing you know the game stopped working before they started and i was displayed a error message 0 saying please contact help desk. Well i went on livechat asking about it and they told me that quickfire is doing maintenance and i should stay put, that the freespins will be there once its back online.

    That was 10 days ago, so today I asked the support when the game will finally start working so i can play the freespins to and end and then play with the winnings as i didnt want to deposit more money. Then i received this "i have finished your freespins in jane blonde since they got stuck and added 10€ to your account as well."
    After that i wrbt on bitstarz and saw that i had 10€ in my account. So went back to ask if i really won NOTHING. During those spins, well i was then told that they had removed the freespins and said that the 10€ Was a good enough compensation for this. So they removed my freespins without asking and gave me 10€ instead, which i had already played as i first thought it was for the inconvinence for having to wait 10 days for them. They told me that as i had played the 10 i had accepted that.
    After arguing with livechat for about 30 minutes without them budging im now here to ask you this.

    Do you think 15 freespins at x3 @0.90€ bet is worth 10€?

    Ps. Sorry for the extremely long post but im just so pissed at the moment

    Well, since I play that slot quite often, I would say yes. Those FS are very moody. I had sessions (though rare) with out winning spins and average FS win is about 25-30x. 10 € is below, but better something than nothing.

    I would be pretty pissed to, that is a pathetic compensation and they way they've gone about resolving it is pathetic too.

    Yes the FS could have paid nothing/next to nothing BUT it could also have paid huge or decent too!

    Problem is all casinos have 'malfunction voids all pays' type rules in their T&C's :(

    I suppose you could argue that maintenance is not a malfunction and this was totally out of your control as a CUSTOMER (then again who are we :rolleyes:)

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think you will struggle on this one :( on the other hand I wouldn't let it lie just yet.....

    Maybe an e-mail to a manager to start with .. . .

    Yes. I play it alot too, and it can pay shite sometimes but i did not ask them to remove the freespins and give me 10€ instead, And to only get 11x freespins id had to be really unlucky. I'd pay 10€ anytime to instantly trigger the feature at 90p.

    Yeah, if it had been a malfunction id somewhat had understood the tenner.. And if i would be on a hot streak i'd maybe let it go. But as im having the worst months slotting ever and then this happens- combined with the support saying, and i quote "
    You have to understand that free spins do not mean you would win the amount. You could have ended up with 0 winnings, so you got 10€ without any risk." and at one time he also changed he's story to "
    You did not win anything on those free spins. You were given the compensation for the wait and for the technical issues." So first off, i took the risk of NOT winning the freespins when playing. But yeah, thanks for the advice of trying with the manager. I'll post what they respond with :)

    Because again, you cannot use mathematical calculations with RNG. It would not be gambling if you could count everything like that. As mentioned before, with free spins, you might have not won absolutely anything. That´s the reason you were given the compensation of 10€.

    Any accredited casino with an active rep here would have dealt with this totally differently.

    Not an ideal outcome but at least we can learn from this :(

    This happened at trada for me and they gave me £100 for £1.25 bonus round as compensation. So yea, you've been short changed

    Sounds like a convenient get-out clause. If one casino gets away with this, who's to say others won't 'magically' disrupt your session when on decent betsizes? It is after all the bonus rounds we aim to get.

    Something tells me that the game would have run fine if the spins had been 15@ 3x multiplier on 9p! £10 compensation is just the value of the spins (not even that) and not a satisfactory outcome. We all know that £10 would easily have been cleared during that round, the cads :mad:

    Surely a fairer way to do it would be to offer the OP free spins on the game in question at the same bet size, then when the bonus occurs, award then that sum in cash? Wouldnt be too hard to so if it was pre-arranged.

    Too many inconsistencies in their story. There is no term that says "maintenance voids play", so if they said it was maintenance, the bet should not have been voided. It seems they simply jumped from one explanation to another as their previous explanation was challenged, so "maintenance" becomes "malfunction". They also claimed they "played" the spins, and then claimed that they "deleted" them when asked "did I REALLY win nothing from those 15 spins".

    If spins get stuck on a regular basis due to "technical issues", then this is a pretty good reason to avoid depositing again because this should not be happening, the software should be sufficiently robust that this happens very rarely, and each time it does happen, the cause should be investigated and patched.

    The real problem is T&C. which in this case one can interpret it in his own advantage ( Unfortunately ).

    pretty smart from casino . Not fair to the player.

    I've pretty much quit depositing at this casino for this reason, the games freeze quite often during features. Especially on mobile. Don't get me wrong I've done okay here and there but 9/10 times the bonus game freezes which causes me a slight panic especially at 1.50 USD a spin. Rooks Revenge being just one game I've had some issues with recently.
