We don't like deleting posts - they serve to show the poster correcting them to the right format. I think there'll be a little of this for the rest of January, and then hopefully in Feb. it'll be a little tidier.

which might be fine on the surface, if you could depend on people not posting spammy links or rogue casinos, which unfortunately, was not the case - this is to hopefully mitigate those issues.
Otherwise, you'd be looking at continued closed threads and unnecessary work for the staff, for which is essentially, members posting for members.

Yes I agree, fine point.
I was just looking at a personal point of view, I don’t play at rogue casinos, nor would I post one.
Regarding links to sign up or whatever, well totally not my thing.

Granted it's more more work for the poster, but ultimately, a TINY bit of effort on their part.
And posting the link, while sure, may result in a sign-up, allows any new member to review the casino going in. What is also does, is let the reader know (and while YOU specifically may already know who is or is not a rogue casino) is that the casino isnt some fly-by-night site where the person is possibly going to get screwed over after an FS win.
Remember, the free spins thread is a very small, very insigficant part of what CM is.

Either way, just think of it as a compromise. A little bit of effort to keep a thread for members :)

Nobody is telling you how to write, just respectfully asking posters use the template. It works, as I've just scrolled rapidly up and down and it's easy to spot the RED offers and stop on them.

It's not going to be the free-for-all the other thread(s) became, but it's a sensible and workable compromise. It's only the offer that requires the template, not other replies.

Posters will soon get used to it.
 
It does seem a lot of effort on a mobile device for a quick post to say there’s three free spins on Starburst on SliceoftoastwithMarmiteCasinoWorld.co.gr. Or something.

In fact, I don’t think the colour options are there on the mobile site.
 
Can understand peoples frustration with the new guidelines. But they are really quite effortless. And i would rather we have this then no thread at all. I think a month down the line everyone will be used to it. Nobody likes change. But i find the offers much more clearer now. Before i used to some times scrol past some as they just blended in with all the convo.

Yeah, it works. And typing in red hardly is any effort. Going out of my way to find a link, then create a hyperlink in the thread pointing where they're at + only allowing accredited/BBF casinos is stupid. The latter means I have to do research before posting an offer which I just don't have the time nor interest to do. The former is nearly impossible to do conveniently on mobile, therefore I'll be sure to never post again on these threads. And I won't be the only one, which surely means we WILL miss some offers even from accredited casinos, let alone non-accredited but definitely legit casinos.

PS. The rule about free SPINS only is retarded. So if there's a no deposit bonus, or a free bet or some such available we can't post it because it's not spins? This thread should be called Freebies January, not free SPINS.

So I don't actually have to use colours?
Wouldn't it also be easier to make one mod for this thread rather than a free for all for mods? No disrespect to any other mod but you know the saying too many chiefs. That way everyone knows who to ask say like a freebies January rep.

You have a selection of colours to use. But should you select the wrong colour your post will be banned.
If the colour is even a tad lighter or darker than the requested colour from the powers that be then sadly you may be executed.
If you mention a ‘free spin’ this results in murder of any pets you have.
The mere utterance of a possible ‘freebie’ will sadly plague your family with locusts for evermore.
And in the sorry and sad situation you mention a ‘match offer’ the mods will appear on your garden and poo on it in unison.

Yes, youre to bold in red, as stated several times.
Having one mod isnt really efficient as theyre often in different hrs, leaving the thread essentially unattended for long gaps, when mostly, there's at least one, if not more, in the forum.
Theyve all been linked into the pm so they all know how it works

Wasn’t intentionally flaming, my post was genuinely satirical.
That said, many valued members believe it’s gone a bit far.
Respect the forum, the boss and the mods (yourself included)
Over the top I personally believe, but I’m a guest here and enjoy that privilege to be here.
I’d just rather not have such a simple issue convulted into some kind of task.

*shrugs - I snickered. Like I said, probably not helpful. Won't deny I didn't smirk and roll my eyes ;)

Again, everyone recognizes this isnt going to make everyone happy, but that's why the 2 week January thread when it could have been left til February - it gives everyone time to get their feet wet and used to it (and of course, feedback and whatnot).
Honestly, like anything new introduced, in short order, it'll become the usual.
Is it ideal? Perhaps not.
Is it a compromise? You betcha.
