Hello everyone,
I've recently been playing a few bonuses at Free Spin Casino. I'm offered free chips with every email from this casino. There's no rule about claiming them on the email. Anyway so I have to ask is this place rogue? I mean it only became evident after my chat with the agent, Anyway here is the transcript:
I tidied this up a little as it was a really long read...
"info: Please wait for a site operator to respond.
info: You are now chatting with 'Richard'. Please confirm your Email Address and Phone Number during this chat.
Richard: Comment puis-je vous aider aujourd'hui?
-: Hello, I'm trying to claim a bonus code but I'm getting the following error code "Coupon MAGIC10 cannot be redeemed at this time because you already have a coupon active with a required playthrough amount."
Richard: Kindly hold while I look into your query.
Richard: Can I have your e-mail address please?
-: yes *******
Richard: ty
Richard: Your current code is blocked because you need to make a deposit
Richard: which will unblock it
-: ok, why do I need to make a deposit? That's a free chip
Richard: Sorry, what is the name of your chip?
Richard: Which Joshua Chan chip is it? (What?)
-: where did you get the name joshua chan?
-: The chip MAGIC10
Richard: I see it is one of our affiliates that you are signed with (Exposing the real full names of affiliates to your players)
Richard: You are signed up with Freespin and Exclusive casino
-: I got the code through an email directly from Free Spin are you not familiar with that code? Because it's in nearly every email your casino sends me
Richard: ok
Richard: I'm going to try to put your code in
-: Thanks. I don't know what's wrong with your software
Richard: I can't put this bonus on because it has already expired i'm afraid.
-: I got the email about fifteen minutes ago
Richard: Sometimes the offers clients receive are already out of date when they're sent
Richard: this is the case for the magic10 coupon.
-: I get that code in every email. So I don't know what your doing sending expired bonuses to players but it's achieved nothing but turn me off depositing"
I was starting to get a little up tight as the agent was taking forever to answer. I don't know what a casino is doing sending out expired bonus codes. BTW this bonus code had not expired. The real answer the agent wasn't giving me was further down the transcript. This bonus code is sent with just about every email from this casino. The emails are directly from the casino. Then comes the real answer completely out of no where...
"Richard: We do not appreciate bonus seekers and people with multiple accounts on our system. Your account has been deactivated and you have been excluded from redeeming coupons.
-: How am I a bonus seeker? This ought to be interesting. Also how do I have multiple accounts? Also should be interesting. If your going to accuse your players of something you should be willing to back it up?
Richard: On your other account
Richard: freespin
Richard: you only have redeemed coupons
Richard: you haven't put any money into the casino = bonus seeker
-: So because I have an account at each of your casinos that's your meaning of multiple accounts?
Richard: Same story with exclusive casino
-: If your going to offer bonuses then you should be ready for customers to accept them. You obviously have a lack of understanding with the meaning of bonus seeker
-: I am disgusted
Richard: People often do this to us just for the bonuses
-: I am appalled
-: and I'm so happy I'm a member at Casinomeister so I can inform other players
Chat ended. (The agent rather abruptly ended the chat)"
This agent was first telling me the bonus was not available. Even though they had sent the email to me about fifteen minutes prior and it's in nearly every email that I receive from this casino. I just assumed it was like a monthly free chip. Then when that didn't work the agent claimed I was a bonus seeker? Also as evident in the chat the agent became rather rude.
I made sure to let customer support know that I was utterly disgusted with this show of extremely rude/obnoxious/ignorant customer service and after the agent called me a bonus seeker (that really got my goat) that I'd most certainly be posting on Casinomeister to voice my dissatisfaction (which I'm doing right now). I've never advantage played a bonus and I do not and never have had multiple accounts at this casino. I accept bonuses if they are offered. If Free Spin doesn't want players accepting their bonuses then they should not be offering them and emailing them to players. There is no rule on the email about claiming consecutive free chips (which I had only claimed about a few BTW).
IMO that is an absolute load of misleading and deceptive business practices. That's also the fist time ever (and I do mean ever) that a casino has accused me of being a bonus seeker and having multiple accounts. I had no idea how low that makes you feel when this happens. Also what in the world did that chat agent think they were doing giving me the real full name of the affiliate I signed up through? I've got to ask is this casino rogue?
P.s. Sorry for the long read. I was just appalled.
