Ladies & Gents,

I read jshort's thread on progressive play earlier and the following discussion. It's interesting that some casinos do not encourage progressive play and as some members have pointed out, there are fees associated with that which may be the reason. At 32Red Plc casinos however, we want our players to win big and we're proud to say we have made two players millionaires since launch - and they were paid in one lump sum!

Anyway, you will know that Mega Moolah is about to hit £8m but you may not know that the average hit interval for this jackpot is 73 days. It's now 98 days since it was last won and while it's obviously completely random - it does make me wonder if it's due soon! Want a free shot at the jackpot?

If I won the mega moolah jackpot I would probably first faint and then run around my tiny flat shouting and roaring:p :p I would buy a modest house with a little garden since I currently live in a god awful bedsit. I would also give money to my parents so they can have some of their dreams come true. They are truly awesome parents and deserve that and so much more.

I would donate to the Dogs Trust because I love dogs and any organization that helps them and is a no kill shelter deserves to get my money. I would also donate some money to the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Heart Foundation as these two killer diseases have impacted my family greatly. I had two siblings who survived cancer and five Uncles who died from it. I also have had many relatives die of heart disease and most of them lived a healthy lifestyle.

In fact this week my cousin who had cancer died from a heart attack although I was not close to her I do feel sad for her family and wish there was more preventative care for cancer and heart disease in the form of regular check ups which are not offered to a satisfactory manner in my country.

When that is done I would definitely take a first class trip to Las Vegas for some fun for a week and drag along my sister so she can partake in the enjoyment. There is loads more I would probably do but that is all I can think of at the top of my head. I live a simple lifestyle right now so I doubt that would change a whole lot if I won a large sum of money I would just be living simply in a nice house with a couple of more dogs:D

Nice, innovative contest!

My answer is very simple: Split the money in half and give it to my sister. (We made a deal if we ever win the lottery we split the money :D) With the 4M i would buy myself a nice house and a new car and open the player friendliest casino ever :D

To be honest, i would be in absolute shock and have no idea what to do.

Maybe go to the bank and cash it all out in 5€ notes, call my friend and:

1. Travel the world, nothing pre-planned, just go from destination to destination, as and when I felt like it. :D:D

2. Buy some 32Red shares :rolleyes::rolleyes:

3. Deposit a couple of grand in Spintee's Account, so he can do some high-rolling again, in recognision of his entertaining posts :D:D

Won't be writing too much about the first part as this would be a natural thing for me to do which is taking care of my loved ones, like my son, family and friends and a nice donation to some good causes but then I would set out to live my dream as I promised myself 12 years ago.

So part two is about that, here's the story:

In 2003 I managed my first "round the world trip" visiting some 10 countries within 4 months going east from Germany via Asia, Australia, Hawaii Islands, Northern America and back to Germany.

While in Australia I traveled south and north of Brisbane in a hired car and just on the northern tip of the Gold Coast I came across a village called "PARADISE POINT". The community is a group of small islands, each having between 10 and maybe 50 houses, all with boat jetty, facing the sea....just mind blowing and beautiful..... I took a boat out to one of the yet to be inhabited islands and on the most scenic spot i carved into a tree:

Harry was here!!!
This will be the spot where I will build my own paradise in 20 years from now.
November 2003!!!

I have been to over 120 countries so far in my life, anything from a long weekend in Palau to 1 month in conflict riddled Ivory Coast, seen and experienced a lot, probably enough for a lifetime... this place would be just perfect to enjoy my golden age and at some distant point in the future set out on my final voyage.

At present I am set to achieve this at 55 without a jackpot win but how nice would that be to retire ....... like now :) ...... at 47 where the body has not started aching yet :D

Just look at these pics, can a sky be more blue or a terrace more peaceful? :)

THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS

Well Mark you did say you would judge this partly on the number of thanks so i hope my many thanks is a good start.
My wife keeps telling me that even if i had a 100 million euro i would still be a miserable git so i suppose 8 million would be a start.
I would start by giving all our regular Casinomeister members with an account at 32Red two thousand credits for each member to have a bit of fun with at 32RED.
I would then inform all the shoe shops in Ireland that my wife would be on the prowl and let them be ready for a nightmare customer.

I would certainly try to pay back the amount of cash my parents had lent me over the years. Then again that might not leave me too much left either....

I would give the misses 1 million and trade her in so i would visit www.buyafitwifey.com so that might cost a few bob or two.

I would also share the love and donate my house to a homeless charity so at least 5 people could sleep better at night.

Finally i would let my gorgeous daughter have a 30 min trolley dash at her fav toy shop because now she has learned that Santa is us she does not ask for too much at Christmas so it would be lovely for her to go mental and have what she wants.

Once again Mark THANKS for another different but great competition for us members.

I would buy a nice house.
Help the family.
Buy a holiday home on the East Yorkshire coast at Flamborough where my late wife's ashes are.
I would also try to organise some kind of memorial for her like a little adventure park.
Put a couple of million in the bank.
And make a great big donation to the charity I am raising money for and also for macmillan who help people who have a cancer patient in the family.
Oh, and go to Vegas.
And open my own online casino, oops not going to win now cos would be competition for 32Red lol

Well, first things first: it's entirely possible I would go crazy due to a sudden burst of such a massive amount of money. In that case, I suppose a cozy room without door knobs and doctors checking in from time to time to see whether I'm still running around and shouting "I'm rich, I'm rich!". Sounds nice.

Now, assuming that won't happen, I would most certainly try to use the money in a sensible manner (so to speak ). While I'd definitely buy tons of ultimately useless stuff, I would like to use the money to start up some sort of business that would allow me to make money (I know, I know... I'm greedy :D) by doing what I love - in fact, I think that's the best thing to do in this case - such an amount would give me a lot of flexibility as to what I can do - and what will happen if it fails miserably.

Last but not least, I admit I always wanted to travel a lot. While I don't thing I'd end up buying a private plane (a private chopper, though... worth thinking through at the very least ), I would likely spend a lot of that money travelling around the world, taking in some breathtaking sights while enjoying exotic cuisine.

First I'll faint.
Then I'll faint again.
Then I'll spend way too much time staring at my bank balance in disbelief.
Then I'll find a nice spot in the country side to build a house.
Then I'll never spend any time there cause I'll be traveling the world:p

A Great competition Mark & 32 Red.

I would personally set up a fund with the money. I have a number of relatives and close friends who struggle with multiple issues in their lives, and this kind of money would benefit many of them. Some of them need a place to stay, some may need extra help with even daily meals. Besides setting up the fund, I'd donate some of the money to charities dealing with similar issues.

I would also use some to relocate to a sunnier climate with my wife. Nordic winters can be exhausting and I wouldn't mind farming a little piece of land somewhere warmer. I would plant 32 red chili plants in the garden to remember how I got there

Wow oh WOW, What a promotion!!!

I'll get the 'brown nosing' out the way first!!!

No wonder you guys are so popular with promos like this! Just think with a win like the MM progressive, I could become EVEN MORE LOYAL to 32 Red Casino :eek::eek:

Right, grovelling and bullshit aside, let's see!

I really don't know! - Always been working class, living day to day so to have that bankroll let's see..

1) Sort my parents out, If It wasn't for them I wouldn't be here today (In more than just the obvious way :p)

2) Treat all family and friends (not the ones who live in the 'woodwork' tho)

3) Contact all ISP's and get a lifetime ban, wouldn't want a hobby turning into an addiction now

4) HOLIDAY!! - Not had one for years so get some sun on this pasty skin of mine!

5) Savings for my kids - Now I can leave you something other than a handful of small debts :p 'You're welcome, love Dad'

and finally well, .....oh shit I've spent it all :eek::eek:

First off, very nice idea for a competition  Imagine one of the winners really hits the maga one, insanity

So if I would win, i guess i would open an online casino exclusively for cm members in good standing :p The t&c´s page would read itself like a dream, maybe i would call it no bs or no rules casino.
I would hand out free bonuses with no wr at all so everyone can cashout and is happy. If the funds for that are used up i will use the rest of my 8million to spoil my girlfriend and make everyone i love very happy.

Also i would create some fund for victims of rogue casinos, who then wil be paid out of my insurance i created ;)

Or i will hire some pi´s (scientology style :eek2:) who make the life of rogue casino operators way more painful, till they pay off al the unpaid players and become clean.

But maybe i will just reverse my 8million cashout and play it all back to 32red...:D

...

Just reply to this post and share a few words on what you would spend your winning jackpot on...

You mean after I'd taken the entire team @ 32Red out on the lash, er, I mean, a nice quiet meal and maybe a couple of cheeky bottles of wine?!

I'd spend a ridiculously large & frivolous % on travel, gambling and general debauchery (creating a suitably appropriate trip report here).

I'd also commit a chunk towards the sensible stuff re family, friends, long-term investments and charities.

Likelihood the rest will be squandered on fast cars & gadgets whilst being oblivious to the fact I'll very soon be spending the rest of my life reminiscing on the good times, whilst reciting 'do you want fries with that?'

what i would do

i would buy a boat
build a moat find a pet goat
with a fancy tote
and hope we can keep afloat
in the boat
with the goat.

or

a house on the hill
without any bills
and far from the shills
and the sanity pills

or

a fast car
to drive to the bar
just not to far
ill buy the bar
then i wont need a car.

First I would cry. I'm just like that. Then I would drink. I'm also like that. I would definitely do the happy dance.

I'd give my former tenant and dear friend enough money to move out of the room she's currently living in and move back to my house, rent free, to keep the place up and a room for me when I come back home.

I'd visit 32Red in person, and have Mark arrange a party for all the staff... three in fact, so all shifts can attend.

Pay off the mortgages of my two best girlfriends.

Set up trusts for these two hooligans

grandkidscolouring.jpg

Send my daughter and SIL house shopping.

Make arrangements for a big party for all my friends back home, which I'll attend via Skyppe.

Tour Europe.

Set up a CM contest to win a trip to LAC/ICE next year in London.

Figure out how much I will need to live the rest of my days in comfort.

Set up a trust to make charitable contributions with the rest, one that will survive me.

If I was to win, well, pay off debts, pay off wife and get newer model (joke! ...... or is it .......), obviously new car and house etc.

And in all seriousness, I would also offer to pay off one or two peoples debts (if they have any!) on this forum by means of a lucky dip selection. Always nice to have a fresh start and help others out by means of pay it forward.

First i would make a trip to Las Vegas as i never been there and it's a "must do" things for gamblers

Then i would buy a big house by the ocean in poland where the rest of my family lives and help them out, when they need something. That would cost half a million and then i would bring 1 million on a bank account to live from the interest.

BMW 7er series was always my favourite car so i would buy one of those, instead of an expensive sportscar, then i am able to take more than 1 person with me :D
Maybe open a small legitimate and ethical store, where it's not about profit.

That would be it, so in the end i don't even need 8 million just maybe 2-3 million and the rest would go to some charitys, it's important to give something back when you have money and dont spend it all on luxury like expensive houses, fast sports cars or overpriced food (seen a Hamburger on TV for like 201 $? are you serious?). As 1% of the world population ownes 90% of the money, something needs to be done there, 5 Million of "my" 8 Million maybe wouldn't change much, but many people could be helped with 5 Million.

It is really great promo!
Hope someone of forum members will win a jackpot :)

At first i'd buy a house in Lviv. Now i am living at rented appartment.
Then i would build a shelter for stray dogs. It is sad that many dogs have to live on the streets.
Then i would invest in a film based on my favorite book "Black Crow" written by Vasil Schklyar.
And remaining money i will use to start my own business.

Great Idea for a promo Mark.

I used to play Mega Moolah: Isis, but get easily distracted by new games, thus rarely leave the NEW page. The actual triggering Mega Moolah spin used to freeze my computer, but that is no longer an issue...so I really do not have an excuse not to take a shot at the big money sometimes...oh look a squirrel! ;)

If I were to take a shot at the big money, and lady luck would have it that I should win...... lives would be changed. My wife and I are only children from single parents, thus there is no family "empire" to speak of to leave my 2 kids. We would buy property in a variety of locations (East, West and Central Canada, as well as some peace loving area in Europe), and set up the foundation of a multi-generational nest egg so to speak. My wife would never work another day in a cubicle, and we would spend our time travelling I suspect. Friends and family alike would be showered with gifts, of course, and I can think of more than a few worthy causes. I would find a way to ensure that something more than just money would be put into place to ensure that some of the money helps many in need, with a way to generate more money over time....a foundation of sorts. Where I live, we all help and support each other all of the time, and that is without a cash injection. I can only imagine what money would bring to the table.

Interesting that I do not normally play the progressives, or even the lotto for that matter, never usually go with that thought process. This was a fun little daydream...sadly for most will never be a reality. Now I feel compelled to try my luck, jeez...thanks Mark ;) Haha

I'd buy some professional software to make more and better high-quality abusive/complaining slots videos to inflict on my YouTube viewers.:D

To be completely honest Mark, I cannot provide a list of luxuries I would spend it on, like McClaren sports car, mansion and yacht etc. as many would state. When I look back at my overall personal luck in life, I was in a world of billions, lucky enough to be born in a prosperous country with free health care, infrastructure, education and all the rest. I never went hungry, sick or had a bad childhood like some or had to experience war or invasion. I had opportunity to work, buy a car to travel and all the rest that billions don't ever see. So I am rich already.

So, to me it's not what I could do if I won, but what I wouldn't have to do - the first thing would be to buy a bag, drop all my clocks and alarms in as I wouldn't have to get up to anybody's tune ever again! FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome promo as always!

Of course i won't be winning, but i just have to try anyway:)
I dreamed about gaining a Million, or more, for half of my life, and the funny thing is that i already spent millions whilst dreaming about it. Sounds crazy, but just try to recollect what you have spent gambling, drinking and smoking, plus rent/mortgage, taxes and the cost of daily life.. we all are millionaires, we just never had it in one go:)

So, if i would be the lucky bugger to win such an amount of 8M, like many others, i would first rush to my parents and pamper them silly, pay off their debts, and mine in one go, then have a nice long talk about who wants what.
Nothing crazy, but a new car here, some solar panels there, wealth spa for the moms and misses, etc.

Then i would definitely also buy 1M in 32Red shares, that was a very good one @ brianmon:)
Assuming i have around 6M left, according to my calculations, this is where it gets interesting.

I will buy a little piece of land and have a house built on it. this house will have solar panels, and will be the thing i have always dreamed of, and is now finally pretty much technically possible. The power of the panels is stored in a new cube that Tesla has developed, which stores energy for ages, and a lot of it. Meaning that all the extra power i gain, will be stored. Then i am going to have a little self sustaining eco system, including hares, chickens (which i already have) and a boatload of plants, mainly vegetables, fruit and herbs. Without going in to much detail, what i will be left with is a little dreamhouse, with everything i will ever need to survive, which i going to be my pension.

I don't care how much it would cost, but i reckon i will be very surely left with at least another 4 million.
With this i will give one more shot to make the world a better place. Either by secluding myself without worrying about the cost of living, thus being able to focus on some heavy ass brainstorming, or by just giving away money or goods to those in need. But i really think i can come up with something better, and to be frank, i always had the feeling i someday would be able to do just that...

At the moment, and for the last few years, i haven't been able to look much further than my nose is long, never really having enough money or time to set anything in motion that could lead to such a goal. Being free of that daily stress, and really able to "check myself, before i wreck myself" would be something extraordinary, and i would definitely enjoy that in itself. All i can say in conclusion, is that so much money can buy you out of the dependency of the monetary system, which is pretty ironic.

I thanked all post so far, because regardless of being funny or just filled with cool ideas, i figured i would surely be happy for any one of our meister folk to get a shot at this and didn't want to play favorites, or even judge someones dreams or ideas, as being less worthy than those of the others....:)

i don´t mind what i would do with money as long as i haven´t won. of course it would be
a life changer not only for me . thats all i can say.

nice promo

1m€ would go to my wife to all those crazy girly things. hair, nails, shopping, champagne etc etc

and the rest 7m€ would go to play roulette. its all in on "red" (of course :D ). if that hits then its time for biggest celebration ever!!!
