I'd like to see free chip poker poker games we all could play at poker stars a home game free chip group can be set up for various themes like contests with or with out prizes I think we all could do some creative thinking on rewards from a C M accolade to the sky is the limit nifty you could be captain if you would like = my vote

No answer really fit for me, but I picked the closest (yes, bored or low on funds) - I think I use it more as a sort of litmus test as to what kind of day it'd be if I deposited. Or my thinking is something like "so you want to deposit, eh? here's a speedbump first."

I chose the bored/low on funds one, too. Though I also do the freeplay for a new game right after it comes out. Also, like labeled, losing $5k in 5 min @ $50 - $100 spins will usually serve to dampen any inclination to deposit real money. (Free and penny tourneys are good for this last purpose, also.):D

TBH, I think free play can be dangerous, in that it can encourage you to play like a rich Arab, and then try to translate that type of game play to the real deal.

Having said that, I always try out new games in free play, and I also play some of my favourites at max volume so to speak, just in case one day I happen to meet that rich Arab. :D

I will once in a while play just to see if I like a game and then play for real funds. However, I usually get hate when I hit anything on free play b/c there is no thrill for me.

Play online slots for free? No, never, not a chance!
It's fun to play online when I have the chance to win something, but if I'm low on fonds I do something else instead
...like go on a posting spree here or so ;)
Just lost my money, now let's see where to post :D

Yes, I can't wait to hit a RJ in free-play...it makes my day.

Never, ever,ever!

If I want to test a new game in free-play, then I would use Cool Cat, Mighty Slots or another rogue casino in flash play if it's RTG.

BUT there is a but, here..when Inetbet has the $5 new game wager, then yes..at least I have the possibility of cashing out...I know, not free play.

Free play is for the poor. But it's good there exists such a possibility. People can almost taste the living of rich ones, when betting big and winning big with play money.

Or the smart ?
I like to see what I'm up against, before throwing my money at anything.
The thought of hitting a monster in freeplay haunts me sometimes tho, so a few hundred spins, and then the real thing.
I would NEVER play free where there's a risk of hitting a jackpot ...that would....if possible....be even worse than hitting a jackpot on a freebee

Never.
I used to do it years ago, but I felt shitty when I won huge amounts (should have made a deposit) and its utterly boring if nothing hits.
In other words, its never fun!
:D

I will usually check out a new game in free play. I like to bet similar to how I bet in real, starting with a bankroll like I might anticipate actually having. An extended session might give some indication of what to expect in terms of variance... the variance of a game influences my bet size quite a bit. Some games I find I like better than others for a lot of reasons, and free is a great place to check that out.

I used to play quite a bit in free play to kill time, but I'm familiar enough with most of the games on the platforms I play, I don't feel that need to much anymore.

It's also fun for me sometimes to see how many times I can lose my house at max bet in turbo mode at RTG in a single evening. I've did that often enough for it to lose it's appeal, and to be honest, I've rarely ever hit a random even at $100 a pull.

I think sometimes a poll where you can pick more than one choice is useful, although I did chose the first answer, but the bored or broke also applies.

Never. Just no excitement in it whatsoever for me, and as others have said - I'll deposit (a small amount) to test a new game out. At least if it's a good game I will gain something...

I voted "No, I don't", but i almost voted: "I find this extremely rude!" just because it was in there :p

Like the Beuker and some others i used too in the past, and also a few times in the last years when i wanted to test something...
But i hate it..hitting a big one is like losing a big one somehow, when free-playing. Luckily i have 3Dice, which lets you test all their new games in tourneys for real money, and there are also tourneys in 32Red, which i play. Not to forget they recently gave some free-spins on a decent bet on TFROL, which is hopefully the new trend.

Might be slightly off topic , but also RTG casinos are sending a bunch of free-spins lately, and i like these kind of promotions a lot.
They also really entice me to play so it works (@ Casinos reading)... i guess filling out those surveys, and mailing/live-chatting wasn't useless in the long run:) - yes i'm taking some credit for it too:p

I think it's great free-play is available though, and i would not want to see it otherwise.
I also believe free-play should be exactly the same as in real mode: anything else would be misleading with an underlying malicious intent.
My opinion anyway.

I'm just way too scared that I'll hit a big win to play for free.
It's a bit like the National Lottery in the UK. My mates and I used to pick numbers and not buy tickets then watch it in the pub, it's excruciating to watch if you get the first couple of numbers coming in.
(We are easily amused)

Even worse if you forget to buy your ticket, then see that the first 3 numbers out are "yours". Happened to me once, excruciating indeed
Luckily, that was it. Missed out on only £10 *phew*

I'm not afraid of playing in fun mode, but it's annoying if you hit something anyway.

I couldn't vote btw. My reasoning for fun mode play wasn't there.;)

I do use free money mode, but my reason isn't in the list.

Not anymore...

I played free play a long time ago & got a huge hit on a spin & got  & then :( when i thought it was not real money.
Never got any such big hit in real play though...

Voted No, but I should start doing it on new slots, at least for a while. For example, I should have played Thief for fun to see that it sucks  could have saved me some money. Same with other games.

Only if Im incredibly bored or low on funds:)Personally I prefer to use the free chips or spins most casino's offer on sign up. If the slots don't talk to me, when I'm playing their freebies - I presume they wont loosen up if I play with real money:p

Of course when and if I do actually crack the wagering on the free chip offers, I tend to get hooked on that casino and end up putting wayyyyyy more in:oops:
