Free £50 applied - on my closed account!!

Just had a telephone call from a chap at a casino I belonged to saying he has now applied a £50 bonus in my account. Waheey, great, a bit of free play time! Unfortunately not as my account is closed until February 2017, so a bit puzzled how I get to use it!!

My account is with a reputable casino who I had good experiences with, but unfortunately it was a download casino instead of instant play and as my 10 year old son uses my laptop for homework and video games, I opted to remove the downloaded casino and temporarily close my account until Feb 2017 (hopefully my boy may get a new laptop for Christmas!!) so not to expose him to slots, etc. Plus, knowing him, he would probably open it and think it's ok to play the games on there without realising real money is involved!!

Great gesture from them, but about as good as a chocolate teapot!!

Yeah, that is slack. Still, not often one gets a £50 bonus with no wagering and a max cashout of 0!

And as for the laptop and your son's access to it, that's easy. Smash it up with a hammer, just call it the 'smash game'. The way slot providers are making all these child-friendly games, there's only one way to be sure, and that's ban him from using any form of technology as well. Sorted!

Does the casino which gave you the free £50 have sister casino's that you still have an account with and which do not rely on a download version? If so could you message the casino which gave you the dosh and ask them to transfer it to the active casino?

Yes they have sister sites, but shock horror, I used SE to close the account until February 2017 so that should apply to them as well. I know I know, can of worms doing that, but if not playing at a casino I don't want constant e-mails and offers. This is one reason I was puzzled why they called and put £50 on my account to play with as surely they would know I was SE! Hopefully it will still be there come February!
